1) company has 56 employees of which 6 are engineers related to the platform who are managed by Ashish. The key is in addition they outsource to India additional 50-80 tech contractors at any given time who they used to launch Kratos

2) srinivas is a controlling investor in Rhodium but company has full time CEO and CFO and he doesnt control and is not privy to the day to day operations of the company. $trit started through him seeing a need for a better way to trade more effectively through Rhodium experience

They of course used Rhodium & its relationships with parties it does business with as the first customers of their platform which youd expect. In June 2019 related party rev was 100%, down to 26.5% by Feb 2020 & last q down to under 10% as they onboard more 3rd parties.

As for the digital coin the company initially thought launching a coin would be a good way to solve the issue however after further study shelved it. They gave notice to everyone they would burn the coin and allowed them to redeem. No digital coin now at all

Supply chain finance model coming out in Feb which they expect to have similar fee to trade finance module which is very profitable. Estimates for next yr already include this. The other two modules of credit insurance and logistics dont currently plan to monetize

There have been many such deaths at the hands of police in the UK over the years. So many of them involve mental health issues. The @IRR_News has recorded many of those.

Police are rarely disciplined for the use of lethal force in the case of mental health issues, because the decision is based on the balance of threat versus force.

Butp police are not mental health specialists, and they make a judgement on the perceived safety of officers. Those judgements on threat are often based in biases that perceive ethnic minorities, particularly people of African descent, as more aggressive.

Policing of Black communities worldwide suffers from this bias problem, as do investigations into lethal force by police.
Police services rarely acknowledge these biases, nor do those bodies that investigate them.

If I don’t catch data issues so that we can fix them before pushing the code to our live environment, the impact is tremendous. We could overstate earnings, lose millions of $ in business, kill our pipeline, and/or place our company at legal risk. 4/

My boss leaves me alone for weeks at a time so that I can perform this analysis. I bounce data points off the source file & I then off of 50 or more other data points. I then translate my findings into language that developers can understand & act on. I have a point in this... 4/

This has made me realise that our humble existence is an underappreciated facility.

This year seems to be a massive experiment in social engineering.

While coping with a sudden disruption in commercial activity leading to a brief spell of global socialism, we saw hijacked, outsourced and sponsored protests fuelled by social divisions and insecurities.

Personally, I experienced a complete collapse of my reward mechanism throughout this year, resulting in low motivation levels for prolonged periods. I couldn't even find the motivation to post much on social media.

It made me realise the incompetence of reward-oriented work.

Happiness (being home after 5 years) was in stark contrast of sorrow (loss of friends and family), effectively flattening any emotional upheaval.

From the yogic perspective (सुख-दुःखे समे कृत्वा), this was certainly an educational year but was devoid of satisfaction.

man, this tablet project.
so it stopped charging. it was at 23%, I charge it for a couple hours, still 23%
I turn it off and leave it on the charger for 23%, confirm it's charging, and 8 hours later... 21%

so I get on the internet and order a replacement battery.
in the two days it takes it to arrive, the tablet somehow charges to 100%?

it arrives and I'm like "eh, fuck it. I have the battery here, that one is old, I might as well swap 'em.
I try to open up the tablet, following the instructions, and... the digitizer cracks.

it turns out the fact I had to replace the digitizer before meant that the new one wasn't glued in as well as it should be, so when I pried it open, the wrong part came off. Whoops.

that's okay, because of an amazon mix-up long ago, I actually have a spare digitizer on hand for this tablet! I can just replace that after the battery.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Jacob Peters? I thought not. It's not a story the British would tell you. It's a Conspirologist legend. Jacob Peters was a Bolshevik, so powerful and so wise he could use the British to influence the very fabric of reality in Russia.

Officially, "Jacob" "Peters" was the son of a Latvian farmhand. After the Revolution of 1917, he was one of the founders of the Cheka. Officially, he was Dzerzhinsky's deputy, but there are reasons to think he was equal or even superior to "Iron Felix".

Depending on who he was talking to, Peters claimed that he was was born either to pauper peasants or to a wealthy landowner's family. It is unclear whether Latvian, Polish or Russian was his first language.

During the 1905 Revolution he claimed to have been involved in "propaganda among Latvian paupers and peasants". Later he was accused of the attempted murder of a factory owner; after his acquittal he went to London, where he met with "Theodore" "Rothstein".
