A Thread on BUDDHIST RAVAN https://t.co/k8bfsl1EOJ

The first chapter of the Lankavatara-sutra describes that Lord Buddha once incarnated along with many of his disciples, on the Malay mountain near Lankanagari.
The Tathagata Buddha began to preach with his powerful voice, which began to resonate in the sky(2/n)

Yakshadhiraja Ravana, sitting in the lankanagari at the bottom of the mountain, could not understand this mystery ; Curious when Ravana meditated, he saw that Lord Buddha is giving sermons on the Malay Mountains among many snakes and girls and surrounded by many disciples

Seeing such a divine vision, Mahatma Ravana had a fervent desire that 'I too should appear before God and take advantage of his visions and pray with respect to him that he should visit Lankanagari and do welfare of the Lankavasis (4/n)

Ravana proceeded towards the Malay with Yaksha-kanya and Divyangas on a chariot equipped with many flowers Lankadhipati Ravana, having reached there, performed three revolutions of Lord Buddha while sitting in the chariot

1. An excellent interpretation of the Draupadi Vastrapaharana incident. Another view on this incident that perhaps has a scary message for today's situation is possible.

2. We must remember that the Kauravas went after Draupadi at the very last. Even the land had been taken away. The destruction of the Pandavas would be complete with the violation of Draupadi.

3. As Sri Madhwa says - "सर्वविद्या द्रौपदी तु" - Draupadi was the embodiment of knowledge/education. For the complete annihilation of a civilization, the takeover of territory is not sufficient. The knowledge of that civilization must be destroyed.

4. This violation and damage to education is done by Duryodhana - embodiment of ignorance and other evils - अज्ञानादिस्वरूपस्तु कलिर्दुर्योधनः.

5. But in this endeavor he is facilitated by two - Dushasana and Shakuni - the embodiment of vipareeta-jnana and nastikya - विपरीतं तु यज्ज्ञानं दुःशासन - नास्तिक्यं शकुनिर्नाम
Islamic language that dehumanizes unbelievers is where Islamic violence begins. Slurs like Kuffar (derogatory term for someone who doesn't believe Islam) and Najis (filth) are weaponzied language, designed to ”other” and get their base worked up. /1 https://t.co/rxu64kds14

It is very clear from their language they do not recognize the humanity of those that doesn't believe what they believe. This is not due to the individual, but rather because of Islamic teachings found in it's source materials.

And when they curse their imaginary God characters wrath on you, and condemn you to an imaginary hellfire in an none existent afterlife all within the mythological construct of Islam, it is only telling of what they would rather do to us if they had a choice. /3

And to expect these people will have any good faith against someone else who is suffering and demanding a respite from that suffering is foolish. They do not see humans and human rights in the same light as we do. /4

They only see their own self interest and the interest of Islamic teachings that seak to oppress and dominate everyone else. All sane and rational people must say no to this bullshit, if we are ever to overcome islam’s assault on humanity. /5
