Here’s where we’re at so far, and how we got here.

Landed 1st client on September 23, 2020.

My cut is currently $1,380 for the month of Oct.

Here’s how it went down.

Originally, I had a little website that sold an info product.

My favorite part of that business was writing the emails.

So I started learning everything I could about email marketing.

Read some books … *fast forward* …

Took some courses … *fast forward* …

Thus, email marketing will be my skill of choice to reach 100k/year.

I knew how to write.

I knew how to sell via email.

(I did it with my own list)

But I’d never done it for anyone else before.

I had to find a client.

I’d always heard that the first client is the hardest to land.

The truth?

This wasn’t the case for me.

I sent *one* cold message via linkedin.
And that recipient became my first client.

But it wasn’t exactly an accident.

Here’s how I did it.

When looking for my first client, I knew I wanted 2 things:

A market I knew well or belonged to
A product that I *wanted* to sell

I chose three markets to research:

Men’s Fashion
Music
Health and Fitness.

It just works.

How to create an irresistible offer.

That would be DUMB to say no to.

1) WHAT'S YOUR SERVICE

What are you selling?

And what is the end goal for the end user?

How close can you get to achieving that?

Quantify it

For example:

Let's say I run Facebook ads for carpet cleaners.

End goal for my client is more customers.

Since I cannot control their sales process, the closest I can get is getting them leads.

With $500 in ad spend, I can get 100-150 leads for my carpet cleaning clients.

2) GUARANTEES

The fastest way to get clients is having a guarantee.

Ironically, you cannot guarantee results with marketing.

BUT, you can predict.

I can guarantee my carpet cleaners 50 leads a month without losing sleep at night.

Have a strong guarantee.

It works.

However, you may not always meet the guarantee.

That's okay, dont sweat it.

What would you rather have:

Landing 10 clients w/ the guarantee and not delivering for 3.

these are the Lessons I've Learned

if you pay market rates and go through Onlinejobs, FB groups, UpWork, etc you'll have to go through 300-500 applications to find ONE great candidate

HUGE annoyance

to counteract this, find a great recruiter

pay $4k per placement

and offer a 15-30% above market hourly rate

have an INCREDIBLY thorough hiring system

i'm talking typing, critical thinking, creative writing, email management, and data entry tests

you want your tests to replicate EXACTLY what they'll be doing on-the-job.

make sense?

when you interview candidates

get THREE references from them

at least 1 superior (boss, manager)

and 1-2 co-workers

if hiring for a management position, 1 person they managed

have in-depth, role-specific questions ready

and CALL THESE PEOPLE

do NOT email them

go in-depth

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT

filipinos need positivity

so does everyone else

but Filipinos moreso than others

compliment them when they do great work in front of the WHOLE TEAM

keep them happy. make it well known you love the work they're doing (if you truly do)

How to build a real agency business instead of working as a freelancer

Everyone here is all about getting clients and getting clients.

But why will those clients stick with you if you are not able to get the results?

YOU NEED TO FOCUS ON ONE THING:

A STEP-BY-STEP PLAN ON HOW TO LEVERAGE PASSIONATE COMMUNITIES TO MAKE $100 PER DAY

This is a thread of the exact steps I took in the past to make $3,000 per month.

The best thing about email sequences is that you can reverse engineer the end goal and built it from there.

In the thread below I'll list 3 things you should have in consideration to make it rack in sales on autopilot.

1. Reader awareness

You've heard about it thousands of times.

The 5-stages of awareness.

Stage 1: Unaware.
Stage 2: Pain Aware or Problem Aware.
Stage 3: Solution Aware.
Stage 4: Product Aware.
Stage 5: Most Aware.

The first thing you should do before each sequence is to determine where your audience is so that your sequence can work as a bridge from the current state to the 5th stage.

2. Pushing the sale forward

Even if you don't want to sell in every email, every single one of them should push the sale forward.

Here's how:

1. Change beliefs
2. Handle objections
3. Demonstrate social proof

Supersized Carts.

Shoppers don’t like to push around empty carts.

Consider grabbing a basket or a smaller cart.

How many subscriptions do you have and don’t use?

Email has the highest ROI out of any marketing+sales channel.

I'd spend 2-3 hours/day watching YT vids and reading books on:

• cold emails
• linkedin lead gen
• email copywriting

I'd also spend 2-3 hours/day practicing writing emails.

2/ Package my skills into a done-for-you service.

I'd package up my new skills into a service that could increase leads and sales for biznesses.

3 options here:

• daily broadcast emails
• autoresponder sequences
• B2B lead gen (cold emails + linkedin)

3/ Reach out to my warm network.

Friends, family, mutual connections

I'd try to find a small biz owner who was looking for more leads or sales.

I'd offer to help them on a "pay-for-performance" model... or FREE to get a case study.

That case study is worth more than $$$.

How to get your first $2,000 in the next 2 months

Even if you don't have a skill or service to sell

The omnichannel strategy I use to book appointments on auto-pilot.

1. Initial contact

Initial contacts are when we first get a positive response.

My best organic outreach methods are cold emails and IG DMs. We get a shit ton of responses from there.

Once we get a positive response, we add em to my GoHighlevel pipeline and start the sequence.

2. Second contact (Call)

Once they become a positive response, I manually call them twice. So I can qualify them and book them into a demo call.

Now, if you're in sales, most people will not be picking up this phone call.

And so it begins.

3. Third contact (SMS 1)

Now I send them a text to their phone.

The goal of this text is to elicit a response. Because if they respond once, they're most likely to respond again.

Once they respond, I tell them why I texted them and ask for a phone call.

4. Fourth contact (Email)

Here, I'll send an email from the company email. We'll explain a bit more about why they should hop on a call with us.

I'll include a case study and put in a link that goes to my calendar.
