Supreme Sago Industries Erode Private Limited. Along with Srinivasamoorthy, the other director in this Sago firm is one N.Ramalingam.

The Ramalingams are in-laws of TN CM Edappadi Palanisamy. The relationship between EPS and the Ramalingams are as follows : 3/n
Edappadi Palanisamy’s son Mithun Kumar is married to one Divya. Divya has a sister by name Saranya. Saranya’s husband’s brother is Chandrakanth Ramalingam. This is how the Ramalingams are closely related to EPS. 4/n
This Chandrakanth Ramalingam was earlier arrested in Bangalore in December 2016 for holding 46 lakhs of freshly minted new currency following demonetization. 4/n

In June 2018, DMK filed a complaint in the DVAC, for registration of a corruption case against TN CM Edappadi Palanisamy, for corruption, favouritism, and nepotism by awarding Highway contracts worth thousands of crores to a firm owned by his in-laws. 5/n
The DMK in its complaint stated as follows : _ “Contracts have been awarded to these two firms at an inflated rate thereby causing undue pecuniary advantage to them only because the two firms are controlled by persons 6/n
who are closely related to Shri Edapadi Palanisami’s son Mithun. The modus it appears have to eliminate and dissuade all eligible contractors from participating in the bid by adopting intimidating tactics. 7/n
The provisions of the Transparency of Tenders Act,1998 and its rules have been violated with impunity. In fact, it is reliably learnt that Mr R Ramalingam and Mr P Sutharma who are close relatives of the Chief Minister have been 8/n
awarded several contracts amounting to several crores of rupees for the past seven years and in most of the bids there were only 2 bidders. This is not mere coincidence and needs a thorough investigation”_ 9/n
Since the DVAC, which works under EPS, failed to conduct a proper probe, the DMK moved the Madras HC. Hon’ble Justice Jagadish Chandra, after hearing the issue in detail, issued a well reasoned order transferring the investigation to CBI. EPS moved the SC immediately and 10/n
managed to obtain a stay on the same day.

A Bench headed by BJP’s judicial wing president Ranjan Gogoi, stayed he Madras HC order in 30 seconds on 30 October 2018.

This matter was never listed till date and the stay continues.11/n
Now, with BJP targeting Edappadi Palanisamy, the matter will suddenly be listed any moment for hearing.

Time for Edappadi Palanisamy to take a call about his relationship with BJP if he really cares about Tamil Nadu. 12/n

DMK President MK Stalin after presenting a detailed complaint to Governor Banwarilal Purohit, speaking to media said, the complaints that have been given to the governor had already been given to DVAC, but to no avail. Since the DVAC failed to take action, 1/n

In a detailed order, Madras HC has categorically rejected SASTRA’s request to re-convey and regularize the encroachment of more than 50 acres of government land and the appeal of SASTRA to Supreme Court has also turned down. 5/n

Sources : The charge sheet filed by CBI in the #HathrasCase is filled with flaws and three innocents have been roped in as accused, in spite of them having strong alibis.

While the prime accused did commit the act and there is strong evidence against him, 1/n

the remaining three were implicated only based on their ‘tower location’ of their cell phones. Two of the accused who are implicated were employees of a dairy located a kilometre away from the scene of crime (SoC) and witnesses working in the dairy, 2/n

had given statements that the two accused were working in the dairy at the time of crime. The other innocent accused was present in a place away from SoC and witnesses had deposed that he too was not in the SoC.

CBI comprises fine officers with investigating skills. 3/n

They always do their job with due diligence keeping in mind the reputation of India’s premiere investigating agency. But, superiors, who are IPS officers on deputation to CBI always toe the line of the ruling regime and act as mercenaries. 4/n

Amazon is a billion-dollar company. The idea that it will receive hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks at a time when our subway is crumbling and our communities need MORE investment, not less, is extremely concerning to residents here.

When we talk about bringing jobs to the community, we need to dig deep:
- Has the company promised to hire in the existing community?
- What’s the quality of jobs + how many are promised? Are these jobs low-wage or high wage? Are there benefits? Can people collectively bargain?

Displacement is not community development. Investing in luxury condos is not the same thing as investing in people and families.

Shuffling working class people out of a community does not improve their quality of life.

We need to focus on good healthcare, living wages, affordable rent. Corporations that offer none of those things should be met w/ skepticism.

It’s possible to establish economic partnerships w/ real opportunities for working families, instead of a race-to-the-bottom competition.

2) At this point, if you are a young and ambitious Tory MP it is now so overwhelmingly in your interest to vote against the withdrawal agreement. V v hard to see how Julian Smith can cap rebellion at under 100:

3) Really just to reiterate 1) Gyimah is the kind of "No, never gonna rebel" vaguely pro-EU Tory you'd need to get on side to outweigh Labour Leavers and Real Concerners.

1) FL absentees, early voting:

*Dems as expected ("souls to the polls Sunday") had a good day and FINALLY take the early walk-in vote lead by 6,100 votes.

Rs total: 1,151,593
Ds total: 1,092,547

Rs +59,046 combined lead. This is very good for this point in the campaign.

2) At this point in 2016, Rs only led by 40,000. I could be mistaken but I think yesterday was the last day polls were open on Sunday, so the final "souls to the polls" Sunday.

3) As of yesterday, four red counties were yet to report. That would likely boost the lead back to 70k

4) I don't think the FL Rs in their wildest dreams expected to lead this late in the campaign.

5) Likewise in NV:
Clark (with its union "encouragement" for members turned out big yesterday and added net 6,000 voters.

However---big however---neither Washoe nor the rurals . . .

(5) contd. . . were open yesterday. My guesstimate is that would slice that number in half.

While this helped, the NV Ds are still looking at a significant--to potentially massive--shortfall from their 2016 numbers coming out of early voting.

6) Gotta make sure you compare days to days. Calendars and voting days differ.

Once, Banasura(grand son of Mahabali) obtained a boon from Shiva that he could be vanquished only by a virgin.
So, Devi took the form of a kumari and started meditating with the desire to marry Shiva at Suchindram.
Pleased Shiva fixed the midnight hour for marriage with Devi.


Devarshi Narada knew that the marriage would end the chance of killing Banasura. So, he assumed the form of a cock and crowed. Shiva returned back to Suchindram thinking that it was dawn.
Angered, Devi cursed that all food and articles meant for wedding turn into sand and shells


When Banasura heard about Devi’s beauty, he tried to take her by force. Devi, then, killed him and granted the wish of Devas to remain there always protecting them.
The murti of Devi stands with a rosary in hand. Her diamond nose-ring is said to be visible even from the sea.


Once an ancient mariner mistook it for a lighthouse and sailing towards it, his ship wrecked upon the Kanya Kumari rocks. In order to prevent such a tragedy from happening again, the eastern door of the shrine is opened only on five special occasions throughout the year.

Very famous Krishna Mandir where Bankey Bihari Ji is worshipped and looked after as a child.
Bankey means “Bent at three places”.
Thakur Ji was worshipped in Nidhivan till 1863. This mandir was constructed in 1864 by Goswamis.

Legend says that Swami Haridas used to worship Krishna in Nidhivan.
Once, his curious disciples entered the forest but they were almost blinded by bright, intense light. Upon knowing this, Swamiji himself went there and after his requests, Krishna appeared with his consort.


Krishna, then, left back this black charming murti,which we see now, before disappearing.
A curtain is drawn before the murti after every 15-30 second. It is said that if one stares long enough into the eyes of Shri Banke Bihari, the person would lose his self consciousness.


Bankey Bihari Ji sports a flute only once a year on the eve of Sharad Purnima.
Darshan of His lotus feet can be done only on Akshay Tritiya every year.
There are no loud bells here and
no early morning Darshan can be done so that child Krishna’s sleep is not disturbed.

Santkumaras-The four adorable kids of the Universe.

The Kumaras r the four sages who roam the Universe as children from the Puranic texts of Hinduism named,Sanaka, Sanatana,Sanandana& Sanatkumara.They r described as the first mind-born creations &sons of the creator God Brahma.


Brahma,who had received the knowledge of Puranas from the Universal being(God Himself), imbibed this to his 4 Kumaras.
Sanat Kumaras then taught the Puranas to Narada.Narada transmitted it to Krishna Dwaipayana who in turn scripted them in monumental epic documents of 18 Puranas.

The Vishnu Purana is recorded in two parts,the Vishnu Purana & Naradiya Purana.The teachings of Sanaka of the Kumara brothers r contained in the Naradiya Purana which is also divided in two parts, the first part containing the teachings of Sanaka &second part,teachings of others.


Born from Brahma's mind,4 Kumars took lifelong vows of celibacy against their father's wishes.They r said to wander throughout materialistic &spiritualistic universe without any desire but with the aim to teach.All 4 brothers studied Vedas from their Childhood&travelled together.


The Bhagwata Purana lists the Kumaras among the 12 Mahajanas(great devotees or bhaktas) who although being eternally liberated souls from birth, still became attracted to the devotional service of Vishnu from their already enlightened state.
