In this thread, I'm going to walk you through "The Kelly Criterion".

2) In 1956, John Kelly published a paper titled "A New Interpretation of Information Rate" in the Bell System Technical Journal.

3) In the paper, Kelly described a simple and elegant way for investors to strategically allocate capital in the face of uncertainty.

This is what is now known as the Kelly Criterion.

4) The approach is easiest to understand with an example.

Who are Hazaras?

Hazaras are considered by historians to be descendants of Genghis Khan's army.

This is supported by their Asiatic features.

Although a majority of Hazaras adopted Persian with their own Hazaragi dialect, some still speak a Turkic language known as "Moghul"

An overwhelming majority of Hazaras are Shia by faith, in contrast to their Sunni Pashtun neighbors.

Hazaras are distinct from other Afghans linguistically, culturally and ethnically.

Traditionally, they inhabited the entire central region of Afghanistan from Ghazni to Herat

Sri, Boomi, Neela, Mahalakshmi, Narayani samedha Sri Narayana Perumal, at Sri Pancha Lakshmi Narayana Temple, West Mambalam, Baroda Street, Chennai.

Here Perumal is found with five Thayars unlike most temples where He is seen with Sridevi and Bhoodevi.

Sridevi, Bhoodevi and Neeladevi are found on either side of the Perumal and Mahalakshmi is found as Thani Nachiyar.

The fifth Lakshmi, Narayani, is found in the heart of Narayana Perumal.

Since Perumal has the Thayar as part of His thirumeni (body), He is adorned with a waist belt (Oddiyanam) and anklets on His feet.

The Perumal looks resplendent in His Paramapatha Kolam and those worshipping Him in this form are said to be relieved of all their sins and can reach the lotus feet of the Lord at the end of their lives.

This Perumal has been in worship for centuries in a private household of an industrialist and based on the divine instructions received, they have made worship of these deities public.

The grace of this Perumal has spread far and wide and this place is often very crowded.

3.Goddess Sri Akilandeswari Amman is seen in separate sanctum in the inner enclosure of the temple. To the outer walls of Amman sanctum one can get the darshan of Vinayaka, Madeswari, Vaishnavi, Varahi, Lakshmi & Saraswathi.

4.There is also a Nandi statue in front, facing Sri Jalakandeswarar sanctum.According to puranas, Athri muni installed a Shiva Lingam in this place and worshiped. After he left, without proper maintenance the Shiva Lingam in the temple was covered by an ant-hill.

5. Rain waters in the lower levels of the ant-hill made a tank there. God Shiva appeared in the dream of a chieftain Bommi Reddy who was ruling the region and asked him to build a temple there.

You see-saw between wanting/seeking and sufficing without. When you fail once, you can’t always try again right away. There’s a recovery period in which you lick your wounds and regroup.

If you give up during that recovery period, then you didn’t really want it enough. It was mere whim. Delay separates whim from truth. Whim clouds the intellect. You need to get rid of it in order to think clearly.

Saif's great grandfather was the Nawab of Bhopal.

He was a staunch supporter of Pakistan & Jinnah. He governed Bhopal by Sharia.

He wrote a letter inviting King of Afghanistan to invade India.

August 2 1947: Saif Ali Khan's great grandfather, Nawab of Bhopal wrote a letter to Jinnah.

He clearly states

"I am a staunch supporter of Pakistan. I want to merge Bhopal in Pakistan. Hindus are untrustworthy.

But Bhopal is 80% Hindu and surrounded by India. I am cut off"

He further says

"Hindus are intimidating me to join India. I know Pakistan has no means of helping me. But I want to know how much Pakistan can help me.

I would never sign and join India, come what might . I will continue to serve Pakistan and Islam!"

In other words, Saif Ali Khan's family tried everything in their power to merge Bhopal in Pakistan. But as Bhopal was in the center of India, neither Jinnah nor Nawab had military means to resist India. Had Bhopal been a frontier kingdom, it would have been a part of Pakistan!
