How devotees saved #JagannathTemple from Cruel Aurangzeb.

“The Emperor ordered Asad Khan to send hasbu ‘l-hukm to Amir-ul-Umara, the Subedar of Bengal, to demolish the Temple of Jagannath in #Orissa.”

Receving the farman the Officials arrived in Puri to destroy the temple. Odisha was under the mughal rule, however it still had the king of Khurdha known as Gajapati who acted as the protector of the temple.

Now listening this news there was fear, anger, desperation everywhere, everyone was helpless & a plan was carved out.

There was a negotiation with mughal subedar, he was offered a huge amount of money as bribe. Still he knew the consequences of not executing Aurangzeb's order.

However, the bribe amount was huge and Odias were successful in persuading him with the offer and he finally decided to take the risk and somehow convinced Aurangzeb that his order has been carried out.

A replica of lord Jagannath was created and it was sent to Aurangzeb's court in Delhi to mislead him.
The temple was closed permanently. All the rituals were stopped. The pilgrimage was stopped. A rumor was spread that jagannath temple and the idol has been destroyed.

एक बार कुछ देवतागण, ऋषि पाताल में जाकर शेषनाग जी से कुछ वार्तालाप कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान किसी ऋषि ने कुछ ऐसा कहा जिससे वह सब हंसने लगे। शेषनाग जी भी अपनी हंसी रोक नहीं पाए और जोर-जोर से हंसने लगे जिस कारण उनके फनों पर स्थित धरती हिलने लगी।

जिसे देखकर ऋषियों में मौजूद अष्टावक्र जी ने अपने हाथों का सहारा देकर धरती को बचा लिया। यह देखकर शेषनाग जी बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और उन्होंने प्रसन्नता सवरूप अष्टावक्र जी को एक दिव्य अंगूठी दी और कहा यह अंगूठी बहुत ही दिव्य है। इसे धारण कर लीजिए और अगर आप इसे उतारें तो दोबारा मत पहने।

अष्टावक्र जी के प्रिय शिष्य थे राजा अज जो कि महाराज दशरथ के पिता थे। एक बार प्रसन्न होने पर अष्टावक्र जी ने वह अंगूठी राजा अज को दे दी और कहा इसे धारण कर लीजिए। राजन यह बहुत दिव्य अंगूठी है। परंतु कभी भी इस अंगूठी को उतारना मत अगर किसी कारणवश इसे उतारना पड़े तो दोबारा मत पहनना।

जब विवाह उपरांत माता सीता ने पहली बार भोजन बनाया तो भोजन से प्रसन्न होकर महाराज दशरथ ने वह अंगूठी अपनी पुत्रवधू को उपहार स्वरूप दे दी। जब रामचंद्र भगवान, सीता जी, लक्ष्मण जी वनवास के लिए निकले तो सब ने अपने आभूषणों का त्याग किया।

I have some thoughts:

As somebody who bootstrapped ~4 companies, I feel like I had to make some clearly suboptimal decisions early in them for lack of what is, in hindsight, not all that much money. But there's a huge gap in the product space for investment options.

It's weird: you can get $25k from Amex trivially, and angels are very willing to write a check for that much, but you have to make representations about your goals/ambitions/market/etc which don't really apply to everyone.

And so you see the traditional angel/VC ecosystem fund companies where honestly the returns are probably not there, and this is knowable pretty early, but the chase of them will wreck what could have been a perfectly happy business.

(To make the math work for traditional VCs the company has to at least have a market-appropriate shot of $100 million a year. There are a lot more $10 million a year companies than $100 million a year companies. That is *not* a bad terminal outcome for founders/employees.)

Also a vigraham of Subrahmanya swamy and was waiting for Shri Rama in his return journey to Ayodhya after war. But Muni was unable to get Shri Rama darshan because Shri Rama was surrounded by Vanara sena, including Sugreeva and Vibheeshana.

With anger Gauna Muni threw the kamandalu away and the vigraham of Subrahmanya Swami came out from Kamandalu. Later the Prathista of Vigraham was done here in this temple, which is now Kidangoor Kshetram

Does Islam teach men to oppress women?🧵

A dispassionate study of the primary sources of
Islam, along with an analysis of the position of
women in societies where Islam was implemented, shows that Islam's emergence was a blessing for women and it drastically improved their previously poor status.

As far as relationship to God is concerned, there is absolutely no difference between men & women. Both are promised reward/punishment according to their conduct.

In addition to the verses which makes both genders one product in regard to spirituality, Quran, in addressing believers, often uses the expression 'believing men & women' to emphasize their equality in regard to their respective duties, rights, virtues & merits. Examples:

श्रीहनुमान रुद्र के ग्यारहवें अवतार हैं. वे कई गुणों, सिद्धियों और अपार बल के स्वामी हैं. इस चौपाई के अनुसार यह ‘अष्टसिद्धि’ माता सीता के आशीर्वाद से श्रीहनुमान जी को अपने भक्तों तक पहुंचाने को भी मिली है

इन शक्तियों के प्रभाव से ही हनुमानजी ने लंका को ऐसा उजाड़ा कि महाबली रावण न केवल दंग रह गया बल्कि उसका घमंड भी चूर हो गया.

ये हैं वे आठ सिद्धियां और उनसे होने वाले चमत्कारों का वर्णन

(1) अणिमा (2) महिमा (3) गरिमा (4) लघिमा (5) प्राप्‍ति (6) प्राकाम्‍य (7) ईशित्‍व (8) वशित्‍व ।

1- अणिमा 

महाबली हनुमान जी द्वारा प्रदान की जाने वाली ये सिद्धि बड़ी ही चमत्‍कारिक है। इस सिद्धि के पूर्ण हो जाने पर इंसान कभी भी अति सूक्ष्‍म रूप धारण कर सकता है। इस सिद्धि का उपयोग स्‍वयं महाकपि ने भी किया था। हनुमान जी ने इस सिद्धि का प्रयोग करते हुए ही

राक्षस राज रावण की लंका में प्रवेश किया था और सीता माता का पता लगाया था । यही नहीं सुरसा नामक राक्षसी के मुंह में बजरंगबली ने इसी सिद्धि के माध्‍यम से बाहर निकल आये थे

2- महिमा

इस सिद्धि को साध लेने वाला मनुष्‍य अपने शरीर को कई गुना विशाल बना सकता है।

Life of shri Adi Shankaracharya
Adi Shankaracharya wad one of the greatest mahatmas lived in Bharat. He was considered as amsa of shiva came to uplift mankind. He travelled country south to north 3 times and East to West 2 times within 32 years of age.

Poorna river changed its course
Once Shankaracharya saw mother struggling to took bath in Poorna river due to old age. Shankara prayed and river changed its course and came near Shankara house. Next day mother was suprised to see this. Now too we can see river Poorna in kaladi

Kanakadhara
Once Shankaracharya went to Bhiksha poor couple offered only Amla left in their house to brahmachari boy. Shankaracharya moved by this gesture immediately sang Kanakadhara stotra glorifying Mahalakshmi and rain of golden amla fall in that place.

हिन्दू धर्म का एकमात्र धर्मग्रंथ वेद हैं।
वेद के चार भाग हैं- ऋग, यजुर, साम और अथर्व।वेद के ही तत्वज्ञान को उपनिषद कहते हैं जो लगभग 108 हैं। वेद के अंग को वेदांग कहते हैं जो छह हैं; शिक्षा,कल्प,व्याकरण,छंद,ज्योतिष और नियुक्त।

मनु आदि की स्मृतियां, 18 पुराण, रामायण, महाभारत या अन्य किसी भी ऋषि के नाम के सूत्रग्रन्थ धर्मग्रंथ नहीं है। वेद, उपनिषद का सार गीता में है, इसीलिए गीता को भी धर्मग्रंथ की श्रेणी में रखा गया है जो महाभारत का एक हिस्सा है।

वेदों के अनुसार ईश्वर एक ही है और उसका नाम ब्रह्म है (ब्रह्मा नहीं)।उसे ही परमेश्वर, परमपिता, परमात्मा, परब्रह्म आदि कहते हैं। वह निराकार, निर्विकार, अजन्मा, अप्रकट, अव्यक्त, आदि और अनंत है। सभी देवी, देवता, पितृ, ऋषि-मुनि, भगवान आदि उसी का ध्यान और प्रार्थना करते हैं।

विद्वानों के अनुसार लगभग 90000 वर्षों से हिन्दू धर्म निरंतर है। नाम बदला, रूप बदला, परंपराएं बदलीं लेकिन ज्ञान नहीं बदला, देव नहीं बदले और न ही तीर्थ। हमारे पास इस बात के सबूत हैं कि 8000ई पूर्व सिंधु घाटी के लोग हिन्दू ही थे। द्रविड और आर्य एक ही थे।

Born on March 25, 1920, in Saras, near Surat, Usha was just eight years old when she took part in her first protest. It was against Simon Commission and "The first slogan I shouted against the British was 'Simon Go Back'," she said in an interview in

She took part in all sorts of civil disobedience campaigns - from picketing and protests to spinning cotton as a way of rejecting British imports.
"There was no need for any inspiration. The whole atmosphere was so charged that

no-one was left untouched," she once said in an interview.
In 1933, after her father retired as a judge, the family moved to Bombay, now Mumbai.
Usha also resumed her education while in Bombay. In 1939, she graduated in philosophy with a first-class degree and began to study law

#Thread "Baan Stambh" of Shri Somnath Mandir is a matter of wonder for the researchers...

There is a pillar in the Premises of the Shri Somnath Mandir, which is known as Baan Stambh. This Pillar is on the south side of the Mandir and overlooks the sea. Researchers tried a lot but they could not know the mystery of this pillar.

The existence of this pillar is mentioned in some ancient books from the 6th century. But no one knows when and who got this pillar built? An arrow has been made on this pillar, whose face is towards the sea.

On this Bann Stambh 'आसमुद्रांत दक्षिण ध्रुव,पर्यंत अबाधित ज्योर्तिमार्ग' is written. This means that there is not a single barrier in the straight line from this point of the sea to the South Pole.

It means that there is no mountain or piece of land in this straight line. The surprising thing is that even in that ancient time, how did our ancestors know that there is no obstacle in the sea from this point to the South Pole.
