 Rand is just like his dad, Ron. 100% isolationist.

They've never grasped that 100% isolationist is not 'America First' when you examine it. It really means 'America Alone'.
The consistent grousing of pursuing military alliances with allies - like Trump is doing now with Saudi Arabia.

So of course Rand has also spent the last 2 days loudly calling for Trump to kill the arms deal with Saudi Arabia and end our alliance with them.
What Obama was engineering with his foreign policy was de facto isolationism: pull all the troops out of the ME, abandon the region to Iranian control as a client state of Russia.

Obama wasn't building an alliance with Iran; he was facilitating abandoning the ME to Iran.
Obama wouldn't even leave behind a token security force, so of course what happened was the rise of ISIS. He also pumped billions of dollars into the Iranian coffers, which the Mullah's used to fund destabilizing activity [wars/terrorism] & criminal enterprises all over the globe
Well guess what? Rand Paul SUPPORTED Obama's Iran Deal for this very reason: hey it got us out of the region, right? Who cares what happens to it? He was VERY upset Trump was going to scrap it to form an alliance with Saudi Arabia & the GCC in opposition to Iran.

At the time Obama was making the deal, Paul said he was against it. Once Trump started talking about ending the Deal and forging an alliance with Saudi Arabia, all of a sudden Rand Paul was everywhere trying to save the Iran Deal.

Paul was against what he called any new Middle East entaglements. No new alliances, no new NOTHING was his policy.

So by the time Trump was elected & started making overtures to Saudi Arabia, Paul had done a 180 on the Iran Deal & was now saying a Russian-backed nuclear Iran with a hegemony over the entire Middle East was just fine with him.
Threats - especially NUCLEAR threats - don't go away just because you insist on a policy of isolationism and abandon your allies to deal with the threats themselves.

This is why Rand Paul or anyone holding to his FP views needs to be kept away from any real say an FP.
Trump is about the furthest thing from a war mongering neo-con there is, but I don't think Rand Paul can see that.

Keep this in mind as Paul spends the next week or so loudly calling for abandoning Saudi Arabia & staying in the IMF treaty.

Ok I was wrong about theHouse. 2 years of legislative gridlock = not fun. Few bills passing.

Control of the House is useless when it comes to keeping Trump from declassifying all the SpyGate docs. Or stopping an Inspector General from releasing a report.

Trump still gets control of judicial appointments so we can expect another 100 judges over the next two years. This time there’ll be no McCain or Flake playing the Maverick role with their swing vote.

That new margin in the Senate is huge if another Supreme Court seat comes open.

So from the responses I’m getting, people seem to think if Trump declassifies the Spygate stuff now, nothing happens.

Are you under the impression federal prosecutors have to wait until CONGRESS finishes an investigation and makes criminal referrals before the DOJ can act?

There’s a federal grand jury on McCabe right now. Did Congress ever finish it’s investigation and make a referral to the DOJ against him?

No.

BUT INSPECTOR GENERAL HOROWITZ DID. On finishing his McCabe leak report.

A lot of people don't understand that Trump & his incoming team didn't face a normal transition period, like it was over a in a matter of a few weeks or months.

The DOJ transition period JUST ENDED when Sessions left. Almost 2 exact years to get it there.

Pompeo at the CIA took over a year before he was done and ready to shift over to the State Department.

All kinds of stuff has been going on behind the scenes nobody leaks or talks about.

We only had the barest mention of the fact the Clinton Email investigation restarted

Nobody leaked in a year that Huber was deep diving into the Clinton Foundation.
Keep that in mind as all the usual suspects continue to INSIST nothing is happening/going to happen.

Here's the great thing: JW is eventually going to get those Benghazi emails. Don't know about getting Clinton & Co. to testify under oath, but all JW really needs is those emails.


The emails from Clinton's server on Benghazi are going to show:

1) they knew it was a AQ terrorist attack from the start
2) they decided to leave those people in Benghazi hanging out there on their own.

It was the capital of Chalukyas(also known as Solankis of Gujarat) which was established by Vanraj of Chapotkata Dynasty in 8th century.


American historian Tertius Chandler states that it was the 10th largest city in the world at that time. The history of Chalukyas has been written by many historians, but the valour of the Great Queen Naiki Devi remains unsung.


Born to the Kadamba King Paramardin of Goa,Naiki Devi was well trained in sword fighting, horse riding, strategy & every other subject of Statesmanship. She was married to King Ajaypala of Gujarat who sat on throne in 1171CE. Unfortunately,the King died within 4 yrs of his rule.
