That first $1,200 check was obviously based on gross income from US federal minimum wage of $7.25/hr, for 40 hours a week, for a month: $1,160

What is this $600 amount based on?

The first was "fuck it, give em a month of minimum wage income. No, I don't give a fuck if it's $4 higher in their state."

So: $600. 2 40-hour weeks at $7.25 is $580.

Which is close enough that it *could* be what this number was based on

"Here's 2 weeks of minimum wage income for free, ya fucking plebes" does seem fully believable.

This is going to be a very different thread from the ones I’ve done before on personal branding. People are looking for people who they can proudly advocate for and recommend, hence in today’s economy

you’re the most important touch point of your product / service and this is why personal branding is important. In previous threads I’ve spoken on the fundamentals to building a personal brand, here I want to share a few things that influence your personal brand.

1. EARS: The things and people you listen to influence your actions, behavior and character.

2. MOUTH: How you say what you think says a lot about how you feel about yourself and how you treat others. Do you leave room to be teachable? Listen as well as you speak? Your destiny is dependent on what you say.

I asked her if she could hold on for a moment while I grab some paper and a pen.

I went & grabbed the items when I heard a child in the background ask for a snack.

The mom started crying because she was trying to stretch the snacks & make them last.

I told her it would be ok.

Fun fact: the standard advice for if a dog, cat, or human bites your hand, is to feed the bite. Push your hand further into their mouth, forcing the jaw open.

Davido’s A Better Time is good but not a Quality album.

A SHORT THREAD.

Man didn’t need to drop an album this year, A Good time was still doing good numbers and records! IMO, he should have just skipped this year. But he most likely felt pressured by his contemporaries and went all in.

The album is big, 219m streams in one month is crazy! No Artiste that dropped and Album this year was able to do that.

But is it great? No.

Is this Davido’s best? No.

The production? Sounds rushed.

The A&R(on features)was good, but not spectacular. They could have

taken more time in selecting the artistes to be featured on the album.

For example you have a huge song with Chris brown already, a song that peaked #3 on Billboard World digital Songs, why does he have to be on the album again?
(Nicki minaj was a great choice btw)

Still on A&R

the album is filled up with common artistes. We’ve listened to these guys many times, we know what they can do on a track already, give us something new! It’s a body of work, not a single, scout!!
And why is Mayorkun on 2 songs?
