(I thought I'd answer you here as it will take several posts and that thread is saturated already)

You know I just had to share. . .

Once again, I'm sharing my thoughts based mostly on the work of Dr. Michael Heiser (Theology, Ancient History. . .

2/

Near East Studies, and Semitic Languages) as well as what I could remember about the book of 1st “Enoch”. Basically, mainstream Biblical study in academia.

The word "angel" (from the Greek word meaning "messenger") is not the nature of something or referring to species.

3/

It's a *job description*, just like you are a woman who takes on the role/function of an *entrepreneur*. These are spiritual beings, the “host of heaven” who surround God. A "divine council" is revealed in Psalm 82 and Job 1: 6.

They have:

1. Free will
2. Rank
3. Function

4/

Angels and demons actually occupy a low rank among divine beings. The higher-ranked ones don't leave the heavenly realms (unless ordered by God). Some are the "guardians of the throne" of God and his presence (i.e. - cherubim).

5/

What about “the Watchers” mentioned in Gen. 6 (as well as in the book of Daniel) and had a much more detailed account in the Books of Enoch? The Greek equivalent of their name (“Grigori”) meant spiritual beings who were “awake”, “watchful”. . .
Pashinyan spoke in the parliament amid opposition protest outside of the building. He answered the question of the deputies.

(Pashinyan's block holds the absolute majority in parliament)

Only the people can speak on behalf of the people, not separate groups - Pashinyan

Voices of individual groups cannot be considered the voice of the people - Pashinyan

It is not the media who decide who the prime minister is, people decide - Pashinyan

The question arises as to why the opposition does not demand early elections. Why do political forces have only one goal - to decide without the will of the people? Pashinyan
1/ Hello world,

@stefanpalios and I have some really exciting news. In many of my career coaching discussions, a lot of what came up was the fact that many people have started freelancing.

[continue the thread]

2/ This fell directly in line with something I read on Stefan's freelancing blog, @PulseBlueprint:

"There are nearly 60 million freelancers in the United States alone"

"58% of people that went remote due to COVID are now considering freelancing"

So that called for action

3/ Freelancing can be really challenging. It involves a lot of really interesting skills that take time to learn and develop on your own.

- building a website
- taxes, accounting, finances
- marketing
- sales
- project management

and so much more

4/ It's one hundred percent possible to learn this on your own, as many of us have had to do.

But for all of those who are trying to adapt quickly, and go at in on their own, this can be really challenging to learn and experiment with on your own and be profitable earlier.

5/ One of the biggest challenges lies in the fact that most freelancers go at it completely alone.

They start on their own, they experiment and make mistakes (big and small), and nobody around them really understands the ups and downs you go through.
We live in an age of greed and dishonesty. We have watched the poisoning of faith and belief in the legitimacy of our democracy over the last month by corrupt men like Lou Dobbs. They are nihilists. We are in a political fight that will last for a long time. @ProjectLincoln 1

Will be tuning up for that long fight. @reedgalen built an organization with millions of social media followers and more than half a million contributors. Everyday @TheRickWilson @stuartstevens @reedgalen and I are focused on building this organization to oppose the 2.

corrupt and dishonest cult of personality that has taken root in this country. We will make no accommodation with the assemblage of UN-democratic extremist groups from proud boy fascists and white nationalists and extremist militias that Trump and his disgraceful party have 3.

Embraced and encouraged. We will stand for American democracy and the rule of law. We will be in the fight and hope all of you will be also. Trump’s coup failed. The next one might not. We will be proud to stand as allies to @JoeBiden and to continue to play a small role in 4.

a mighty coalition. An American coalition. From @SenSanders to @ProjectLincoln democracies friends found each other. A great and broad coalition of the decent struck down Trump’s rancid and lethal regime. His lawless White House has fallen. We have a chance to begin to fix this 5
1. BANNED BY GOOGLE: July 12, 2019, Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia to Li Qiangmin, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Houston, Atlanta: "Thank you for your contribution!" https://t.co/C0yvqSakIC

2. ".@realDonaldTrump did you know that July 12, GA Gov Kemp met Houston Consul General Li Qiangmin frm rumored Chinese spy hub consulate in Houston then just two weeks later on July 29, 2019, GA signed a contract for Dominion Voting Machines statewide?"
Sorry, Dr. Jha, but you shouldn't confuse medical care with the scientific enterprise. Although the 2 are commonly conflated, they are really distinct. 1/

The goal of science is to acquire knowledge. The goal of medicine is to help the sick. That's a fundamental distinction.

Also, scientists stand apart from their subject matter--as distantly as possible. Physicians, on the contrary, are in "a relationship" with patients. 2/

Of course, medical care should rely on scientific knowledge, but that means that science should be at the service of the patient-physician relationship, not the other way around! /3

Also, scientific knowledge can never be the ultimate arbiter of medical decisions.

First, scientific knowledge is often limited or provisional, especially with a new disease.

Second, for every patient there are myriad circumstances that influence a medical decision. /3

Third, even if excellent scientific knowledge is present, the physician must always judge how it applies to the patient, or whether it applies at all.

Fourth--and most pertinent here--one cannot narrowly limit the scientific knowledge to only RCTs as you do in your statement. /4
