1. Functions

Reusable named blocks of code that help to organize and prevent repetition.

The basic function declaration concept will be used constantly with any framework.

If statement and switch cases. The conditional allows you to write code that reacts to user inputs, dynamic data and decisions.

They are the main construct of implementing logic.

Repeat a block of code a set number of times or until a condition is met.

Arrays in JavaScript are the most used data structure. They have built in functionality that allows you to filter, sort, search and iterate over them.

They are heavily used in most JavaScript frameworks to build out dynamic user interfaces.

Mental models can save your life.

But psychological biases can ruin it.

1. Doubt-avoidance:

Doubt and uncertainty make us feel uncomfortable.

And when we don't have clarity, we start rushing decisions to avoid that feeling of uncertainty.

When in doubt, take a deep breath and sleep on it before making a decision.

2. Overoptimism bias:

When we want something badly, we start overestimating our odds of success.

It's why so many people bet on their sports team to win.

It's also why millions buy lottery tickets.

Don't let what you want cloud your judgment of what you should do.

3. Reciprocation:

The tendency to treat others as they've treated us.

When treated well: "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours."

When treated badly: "An eye for an eye."

Sometimes this tendency can lead to endless conflict.

Resist the urge to reciprocate bad behaviour.

4. Social Proof:

We copy other people's behaviour when making decisions.

Especially when we're feeling uncertain.

This is why so many ads have celebrity endorsements and user testimonials.

Google shows 7,930,000,000 results on "Why JavaScript is hard to learn", Many developers don't learn JavaScript and jump to some other alternative language ( Though each language has its own specialty ) because they think JavaScript is hard. But you shouldn't be among those devs.

Here are some tips, which I personally used in order to learn JavaScript, which I hope it helps you too :D

💠 Follow a Well-structured Curriculum

As a self-taught developer, it's your responsibility to find a standard structure to follow. Avoid learning anything that comes your way at all costs. You must stick to a set of guidelines.

This ensures that you are not leaving out anything you should know on the subject. @freeCodeCamp is non-profile organization that has the best and well-structured curriculum which can help you learn JavaScript. You can start with any of their courses and continue it till the end

What is the Inside Bar Pattern?
The inside bar pattern is a one candlestick pattern where price forms completely within the previous candlestick.
For an IB to be considered valid both the high and the low of the
candlestick or need to be completely inside the previous candle

There is often confusion around the wicks or shadows of the candlesticks
NOTE : the inside bar takes into account the candlestick wicks.
This means that the high and low, including the wicks of the candle must be within the high and low of the previous candlestick.

Is the Inside Bar Bullish or Bearish?

The inside bar is an indecision candlestick pattern.
The inside bar is formed because price was not able to break either the high or the
low of the previous session. .

A trend continuation pattern

1. If an inside bar forms in a strong trend, for example a trend higher, then it could be signalling a quick pause before price continues on with the trend.

2. It simply means some Volatilty contraction and hence price moving in small range .

1. We think we still have time

One of the biggest reasons to postpone what we have to do, is this sense that there is still time left for us to get it done.

This isn't entirely bad, as long as "last minute work" doesn't affect us emotionally.

However, it can play havoc if our estimate is wrong, or it causes anxiety last minute.

Break down the task into smaller measurable tasks.
Add up the times it will take.
Add some buffer.
The sum is the estimated time you will need.

Now compare it with the time you actually have.

2. We have a LOT of options

We just don't know which one to pick.

FOMO takes over.
What if we pick the wrong one?

Creativity takes over.
The ideas just keep coming.

Sit with each option and imagine the future consequences. Eliminate them, basis what you don't like.

3. "I don't have time"

You have a lot to do.
So it becomes easy to procrastinate what, in your head, isn't urgent.

But it could be important.
Classify your tasks into urgent and important.

The most important things in life, will rarely be urgent.
