Resistance bands are a versatile and convenient tool for doing intense workouts.
To start, choose a set of bands with different resistance levels to vary the intensity of your exercises and train them close to failure for the hypertrophy.
Bands come in different levels, so it is important to choose the right one for your fitness level.
If you are a beginner, start with a light band, and gradually move up to a heavier one as you get stronger.
You can also use multiple bands to increase the resistance level.
1: Banded Split Squat
Perform all the exercises in high rep ranges for 3-4 Sets according to your time availability.

1/ Recently, I learned about the concept of ‘struggle porn’. This refers to the fetish of sacrificing nearly everything (health, relationships, time) for your startup. I fear that this label is creating more harm than good.
2/ @nateliason wrote a fabulous article about this topic, which first introduced me to this concept. Everyone should read it:
3/ @alexisohanian also recently spoke about struggle porn, though referring to it as ‘hustle porn.’ (as the co-founder of @hustlefundvc, obviously I take issue with this pejorative definition of ‘hustle’, but that’s another topic)
4/ Struggling in itself isn’t necessarily bad. Let’s be real here--if you’re going to start a startup, you will struggle. Founders should expect to work harder generally than employees. You will be challenged in many ways and also be super rewarded in others. This is normal.
5/ However, if you are over-indexing on hard work without clear purpose and degrading your mental health/relationships in the process--then this is very bad and we obviously should not celebrate this behavior.

How you can filter stocks for Intraday trades - 🧵
As a kid, we would do homework before school the next day - you have to do homework here too. A specific sector performs on a particular day and studying things a day before will help you spot that particular sector. (1/11)
To prepare for the next trading day, you got to check the Index charts of all sectors. You got to keep an eye on a specific Index if you see a few factors:
- If any Index closed exactly at the resistance, you can get a trade on either side on the next day. (2/11)
- If it gave a rejection candle at resistance.
- If any Index closed exactly at support, you can get a trade on either side the following day.
- If there was a bullish signal at the support.
- If any Index gave a breakout or breakdown and then gave a good closing. (3/11)
- If any Index has taken support at 50 or 200 EMA.
Once you spot the Index, look at all the stocks in that particular Index. Pick at least 3-4 stocks from that Index and add them to your watchlist for the next day. It's ideal to check both higher and lower timeframes. (4/11)
What you should do next day? (When I am unable to check Indices and stocks a day before, I sometimes directly start with this process.)
- Start with checking the top gainers/losers list. I observe market from 9:15 to 9:45am to check the sectors performing well on that day.(5/11)

1. Let's talk about the effects of #climatechange on the world's forests, with a focus on the northwest of Canada. This is also about electoral #greenwash, and my duty as public servant and right as private Canadian citizen to speak freely about what I know.
2. Why am I compelled to speak? How am I free to speak? The answer is in the federal Values and Ethics Code of Coduct (VECC).
3. It can be career-limiting to criticize government policy when you work for government. Duty of Loyalty is very, very important. However, as VECC makes clear, it is not absolute. In fact SCoC has ruled twice in favour of citizen free speech as a higher ideal. In 1985 and 2001.
4. I am therefore perfectly comfortable showing you the scary things that are happening in the North under a warming climate. A failure to meet global GHG emissions targets is hurting Canada's forests in a way we used to think wouldn't happen for decades.
5. Warming temperatures and rising [CO2] could, in theory, help green the planet with more vigorous tree growth. But that's not what's happening. Don't believe the #greenwash. The positive effects are over and it is warm enough that we are now starting the into the negative.
