2020 marks the start of the quantum dot revolution.

Completely ignoring the fact that "photocatalytic generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) from quantum dots (QDs) has been widely reported."

Results: It was found that whereas singlet oxygen (1O2) was not produced by photoexcited QDs, superoxide anion(O2− )and hydroxyl radicals(OH) were generated by QDs, especially in the presence of a physiological concentration of electron donating agent including NADH.

Using cell metabolic activity assays and various probes of ROS generation, the formation of ROS in cellular environments was demonstrated.

Conclusion: Illumination of QD-treated cells and bacteria with light did affect viability. The above results, together with those of assays in the presence of various scavengers of specific ROS, indicate that the formation of ROS by QDs mainly proceeded via electron transfer.

Remember last year when the #CancelCulture was offended by "Baby It's Cold Outside"?

What you might not know.

First, you are completely ignoring the fact that the song is 74 years old--when women were ladies and men were gentlemen.

Davido’s A Better Time is good but not a Quality album.

A SHORT THREAD.


Man didn’t need to drop an album this year, A Good time was still doing good numbers and records! IMO, he should have just skipped this year. But he most likely felt pressured by his contemporaries and went all in.

The album is big, 219m streams in one month is crazy! No Artiste that dropped and Album this year was able to do that.

But is it great? No.

Is this Davido’s best? No.

The production? Sounds rushed.

The A&R(on features)was good, but not spectacular. They could have

taken more time in selecting the artistes to be featured on the album.

For example you have a huge song with Chris brown already, a song that peaked #3 on Billboard World digital Songs, why does he have to be on the album again?
(Nicki minaj was a great choice btw)

Still on A&R

the album is filled up with common artistes. We’ve listened to these guys many times, we know what they can do on a track already, give us something new! It’s a body of work, not a single, scout!!
And why is Mayorkun on 2 songs?

A British Collector named Rous Peter was appointed as Collector of Madurai from 1812 to 1828.

Though a Christian by faith, he respected all faiths including Hinduism and also honored local practice


Collector Peter was the temple administrator of the Meenakshi Amman Temple and conducted all his duties with sincerity and honesty and respected the religious sentiments of all people.

Collector Rous Peter respected and treated people of all faiths equally and this noble trait

earned him the popular nickname ‘Peter Pandian'

Goddess Meenakshi Amman Temple was situated between Collector Peter's residence and office.

Everyday he used to go to the office by his horse and while crossing the temple, he got down from his horse, removed the hat and his shoes

and crossed the whole path on his foot.

Through this small gesture he expressed his reverence to the Goddess!

One day there was a heavy downpour in Madurai city and River Vaigai was in spate.

Collector was sleeping in his residence and was suddenly disturbed and woken up by

the sound of anklets and he left his bed to find out from where the sound had came.
