When something goes wrong do you bless it or curse it?

Our natural reactions often lead us towards the negative, but that will only breed more negativity.

Catherine Ponder in her book, _'The Prosperity Secrets of the Ages', talks about blessing people and the situation. It is a very powerful tool and brings instant success manifold. It is a very simple way to say a positive prayer for someone or something.

One of Catherine Ponder’s favourites is “I bless you, and bless you for the goodness of God that is within you.”

When you are sending positive thoughts and vibrations towards a person they are much more likely to respond in kind.

It always has much better results than cursing them

When to use blessings?

1.Anytime when you are angry at someone or can’t seem to settle a disagreement with them.

In Catherine’s book, she cites several examples of people being paid debts owed to them once they blessed the debtor and saw them as prosperous and able to pay.

2.Any part of your body that experiences pain or illness can be blessed. U can bless yourself & your own emotions too.

Listening to your body isn't just a cliche. It's a skill.

The better our ability to read our internal signals, the better our performance and decision making, as well as lower anxiety.

When there's a disconnection, the opposite occurs.

In running, the better you're able to sync internal signals of effort and fatigue, the better you are at pacing to maximize performance.

In everyday life, research suggests that a large difference between perceived and actual ability to listen to your body's inner signals predicts more anxiety

A dysfunction in this ability, called interoception, is linked to a slew of mental health issues:

The good news is it's trainable. If you're an endurance athlete, you know this. You've learned to distinguish what different sensations of pain and fatigue mean. What's normal, and what could mean injury or worse.

The same applies to our everyday life. Learn to listen.

When you have deep relationship problems with a woman, you fix it by love bombing her not through honest dialogue, because hurt women are selfish. They don't give a fuck about the pain they caused (hers matters more), and they don't want to hear an analysis of how they fucked up.

Women don't take accountability for the damage they cause. Trying to force them to be accountable for it just makes them less cooperative, because their low stress tolerance means any truthful examination of their mistakes will cause them pain and in turn further instability.

They will simply dismiss, forget or not really absorb what you say if you try being honest, and tell them in a straight way. If you keep pressing it and can prevent her from running away, you will at best get some weak excuses and perhaps an apology. THAT'S *THE BEST* you'll get.

If you can't prevent her from running away, she will just run away.

Women have no sense of honour in thinking "I've hurt this man, I need to make sure he will be alright"

No. She will absorbed in her own pain, you will not even be a consideration.

A woman can love you more than anything on this planet - and she will do this.

And you causing her additional stress by being mad at her and seeking answers only pushes her further away.

She will never meet your needs and right her wrongs.

At 24, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s. Anyone with a bowel disorder will tell you: They have a secret network of secluded, relatively unused toilets they’ve scouted out all over town. Sort of like the Floo Network in Harry Potter, except it’s places where they shit.

Today, I went to someone's house with my mother.
Let's call this person mr. A-whole.

(Just so you know mr. A-whole and I met for the first time.
We know nothing about each other. )

After 5 minutes of conversation..

with my mother he asked me, "What do you do?"

Me: "I am a final year CSE undergrad."

Mr. A-whole: "So, does your university have On-Campus placements?"

Me: "Yes"

mr. A-whole: "That is good. You should definitely try to get a job though placements"

mr A-whole: "So M. tech.?"

Me: "No I'll do self study for a while. Not a degree."

And then he spent the next 5 minutes ripping my dreams into pieces.
Shredding away my capability without having the slightest idea of who I am, what I do, what I am going through right now (which is a lot).

He basically told me I can't do anything (from looking at me once.)

One of my favourite parts of AAS meetings is attending plenaries way out of my subfield. Pleased to be able to still do that virtually #AAS237 -in "Comets, Unseen Planets, and the Outer Fringes of the Solar System", by Scott Tremaine.

I never thought about how comet brightness depends on distance^4 - 2 powers from the Sun to the comet, and 2 powers back to us on Earth.

Short period comets (P<20 yrs) are mostly found in/near the plane of the Solar system, while long period comets come from a roughly spherical blob around the Sun. Cool.

I enjoyed the G=M=1 explanation of Orbital Energy = 1 for the Earth (in theorist units!).

Cool - Tremaine explaining that the existence of the Oort cloud (as a set of comets bound to the Sun by gravity) rules out some alternative models of gravity! I love things like that.

While many of my childhood memories have been obliterated by the trauma I experienced during the #Holocaust, I remember Yulia, our non-Jewish housekeeper who I was very found of and who would give me double portions of Gefilte fish.

Essentially, what is a lifetime of struggle for an average human, is simply a momentary effort for the universal consciousness.

Each one of us is like a cell in the Universal Body. On our own, our existence is infinitely small. On a collective scale though, every individual is critical to the existence of the universe.

A tiny prick by a needle, anywhere on our body, is enough to draw our attention. In much the same manner, we can seek the attention of the universal body.

This is called the "Pin-Prick Effect" - a term coined by Om Swami.

I- Investment

Investment is a necessary factor for your good development.

If you want to grow your income, you will have to invest.

This step is not optional.

You are often told to save money, this is bullshit.

The value of your money will decrease every year.

II- Be fearless

Fear is man's worst enemy.

It gnaws at him until it makes him a docile person.

Risks must be part of your daily life.

If you don't take them, you don't move forward.

The best way to learn is to fail.

Ten components of being compassionate to yourself:

1. Self-friendship: treat yourself at least as well as you would treat a friend who is going through the same situation

3. Self-talk: notice when you are saying something mean to yourself (aloud, or in your head), and rephrase it in a gentler, kinder, more considerate way.

4. Connectedness: reflect on the fact that, whatever challenge you are facing, there are others who are also facing a similar challenge. You are not alone in your pain.

5. Change: note that everything changes with time. If you are dealing with feelings that are difficult to stand at this moment, they will subside. This too shall pass. Things are usually not as important or permanent as they seem to us in the moment that we are focused on them.

6. Self-empathy: orient towards yourself with tenderness, understanding and compassion, especially when you are suffering. Take on the perspective that you would towards a child or loved one that was hurting.
