There can be no tolerance for intolerance.

Many are opining about free speech. In Canada we have freedom of expression and it comes with some caveats. Harmful hate speech is not free.

We have been inundated with hate speech for decades.
It must stop. We must remove the fascists from power and eradicate the platforms they use to build support.

I’ve taught both my children by age 9 what fascism is and what it looks like. I can be done.

School based education is a must to nullify hatred.
But what about the adults? First we remove the ability to indoctrinate through the internet. Mainstream media needs to be purged of nazi sympathizers. And the internet needs regulation. Because some people cannot be trusted to refrain from hate speech.
You got a problem with restrictions on speech, take a look at the US where any form of speech is free. Lying, disinformation, promotion of hatred and psychological manipulation propaganda. And the result is January 6, 2021 attempted “patriot” insurrection.
Our tinder is already soaked in gasoline. Removing those from power who continue to lob lit matches at the tinder is essential to our survival,as a nation and a species. We don’t allow the patients to run the asylum. Violent insurrection is what happens when you do.
And we MUST tackle religious freedom. We need clear understanding of the political aims of religious institutions. When churches teach their parishioners that all who think differently are agents of Satan, that’s intolerance unable to be tolerated.
There are political ramifications for teaching that everyone who doesn’t believe the bible is the actual word of god is going to hell and following Satan’s command. It allows those who believe this to completely dehumanize those who fall in this category.
We need clear definitions to delineate cult from faith.

Cults can not be allowed to spread their ideology. Cults are not religious institutions. They are dangerously subversive organizations that seek to subsume the mainstream culture and impose theocratic autocracy.
That’s not religious freedom that respects all other faiths and non-faith. And there is no room for dissent. Only obedience. Or expulsion from the protections of civil society.
Pick a church, any Dominionist church will do. There is no room to question what these churches deem gods commands. Strict homogenous adherence to Dominionist dogma is the only accepted choice.

But remember, this is not every church.
Much like Muslim extremists have radicalized significant portions of the Muslim world, Christian extremists have been doing the same.

Using the same techniques. Online recruitment and in person reinforcement of cult beliefs.
Every one of the churches that has ignored covid protocols, public health measures and orders is Dominionist. And yes, I’ve checked.

That’s where the indoctrination of cult ideology occurs. And why these Dominionist faith institutions are desperate to keep meeting in person.
The danger of covid is irrelevant. Without constant reinforcement of cult beliefs and values, cult leaders lose their hold on cult members.

The entire premise of cult control is abandonment of critical thinking and adoption of blind obedience.
That state of being is not natural for human beings. So it requires continuous reinforcement of those beliefs and values and pressure to obey, not think about what god, or the supreme leader as represented by the cult leader, asserts as truth.
Christian Nationalism is how this political movement has been shaped and moulded. There are deep connections through faith institutions to every Dominionist parish and their parishioners. These cults prey on the vulnerable. This is not fringe.
I can’t count how many churches are adopting Dominionist dogma. There are that many of them.

Leslyn Lewis was almost elected leader of CPC because of this faction of the Conservative party. Close to 90 MPs are Dominionist Christians.
In Alberta, Jason Kenney is a Dominionist Christian. And about 50 of his MLAs are as well.

They’ve gone mainstream. This is no joke or fringe element.

So we must include denazification of all faith institutions in the effort to rebalance western society towards democracy.
Religious hierarchies are fundamentally un-democratic.

Where has all the admiration for autocratic governance come from? Dominionist Churches and faith institutions.

We address it regardless of the taboo or suffer the this same fate somewhere down the road.

This is an appropriate time to reference boot straps being pulled up and girding loins.

We have much work to do and unwilling participants. You’re going to need those boots. There is a lot of shit ahead to wade through.

I’ll explain in more detail.

We now have two deadlier and more contagious variants of Covid circulating across the globe. The vaccines developed are less than 95% effective. It’s more like 50%, maybe less.

Some believe it’s hardly worth the effort to achieve 50% efficacy.

This is untrue. Viruses mutate quickly and effectively when transmitted from person to person. Becoming infected allows the virus to mutate. Eliminate transmission or widespread infection, and the virus’s ability to mutate into deadlier forms is eliminated.

While the vaccine may not prevent infection, it will boost human immunity that transmission is more difficult. Reduced amounts of covid transmission means less opportunity for the virus to mutate.

That’s how everything works.

The same applies to toddlers and teenagers. (No they aren’t viruses, this is an analogy).

The busier toddlers and teenagers are, the less likely they are to get into trouble. Which is why a good parent keeps their toddlers and teenagers active and engaged in supervised activity.

As Albertans, we are unfamiliar with the tactics used by fascists. Albertans are naive to subterfuge and sedition.

Stochastic terrorism is common in eastern European nations. Russia & Al Qaida use these tactics all the time, but with much more regularity, brutality & deaths.

Seems conservatives have an overdeveloped sense of entitlement.

How does it feel to the average Albertan to be considered second class? Apparently UCP, CPC and other conservatives across Canada are exempt from COVID public health orders.

I wonder if that means anti maskers are first class citizens? What about church pastors and parishioners? Are they first class status too?

But teachers, physicians, police, first responders, grocery workers, and every other Albertan is considered second class.

We don’t get exemptions to avoid public health orders.

What kind of government flouts law and order?


This is not explained by the confused and poorly informed “freedom” focussed Q’Anon and the fanatical Evangelical Christian’s who evidently can’t manage to worship at home.

What is the common characteristic of all fascist regimes?

Social Darwinism.

Fascists believe they are the epitome of human evolution or divine creation. They often credit god with bestowing cream of the crop status on them alone. But it’s based on Social Darwinism.

For a myriad of reasons, fascists believe they and they alone are the chosen people. They have been given divine permission to exert dominion over the globe and it’s resources, which includes all other people. There is little anyone can do to sway that opinion.


Social Darwinism was used to justify colonialism and the brutal treatment of indigenous peoples and dispossession of their land. All to enrich the plutocratic elite. It also justifies how the wealthy view the poor/workers as chattel to control & command at whim to make profits.


Social Darwinism is the rationale for human bondage. It goes back several centuries. Whether it’s rule by the fittest or control of human breeding for the best profits is irrelevant. The belief that some humans are BETTER than others is central to fascism.

And then remember Canadian, especially Albertan, conservatives are moving in this direction and have been supportive of Trump’s cabal, since the beginning.

In fact many still are openly supportive of the far right even after January 6, 2021.

The violence in this video is disturbing. You’ll witness death chants, a scaffold with noose, a shooting and an officer suffering intense trauma from being crushed.

What is amazing to me are the videos of people relaxing in their hotels afterwards that are circulating on social media.

How mentally warped must you be to calmly sit down with drinks and bar snacks after attempting a violent coup?

And maybe that’s why Keean Bexte is rushing back to Canada. He was there. In full support of the initiative. Now he’s desperate to get to Canadian protection from American prison cells for supporting a violent coup in a foreign nation.

Bexte is a fugitive of sorts. His videos, rhetoric and behaviour choices are seriously in question. There is no doubt the FBI will want to confiscate his recordings. Extradition would make prosecution years away. Huawei’s extradition battle demonstrates that reality.

This NYT interview with Dr. Fauci blows the biggest hole possible in @Ken_Rosenthal's reporting from 10 days ago.

In his article, @Ken_Rosenthal wrote, "The union, by scheduling its own discussion with the same officials for a later date, avoided hearing what the government representatives suggested to MLB, according to sources: a one-month delay, with the idea of getting players..." 2/

This decisive battle was fought between the Vijayanagara empire and the Deccan sultanates resulting in a rout of Vijayanagara and ending the last major medieval era Hindu kingdom in south India.(1)

The seeds of 1565 encounter were sown more than 250 years earlier when the forces of the Delhi Sultanate, during the time of Alauddin Khilji and later Md Bin Tughlaq swept through southern India in an expansion spree.(2)

By middle of the 14th century, facing rebellions, Tughlaq withdrew to Delhi, leaving behind 2 empires, Bahmani, which ruled the Deccan from Kalaburagi, and Vijayanagara, which ruled most south India with its capital at Vijayanagar.(3)

The Raichur Doab, between the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers, existed as a natural boundary between these two kingdoms, with wars often breaking out over control of this territory.(4)

If there is one thing I have learned it is that people love bullshit. They buy bullshit stories from professional bullshit artists, accept bullshit philosophies, purchase bullshit how-to-books, vote for bullshitting politicians.

At first, I resisted believing this because it is illogical and dumb and frankly, doesn't reflect well on the human race of which I am a member (and thus have long been hopeful that it is more of a distinction than it actually turns out to be.)

But if you actually are interested in facts you begin to notice how little most people care for them. Sometimes it is because they are heard to learn and bullshit is so much more widely and easily available. Sometimes it is because facts make them uncomfortable about themselves.

Sometimes it is because just one tiny fact will upset a whole worldview that has grown as comfortable as an overstuffed chair. (Settling into such worldviews is a lot like settling into chairs like that because the longer you're there and the deeper you sink...

...the harder it is to hoist yourself up and out of your fat-assed intellectual laziness.) But I actually think the reason people have such an appetite for bullshit goes deeper, goes to an aspect of ourselves we just can't accept.
