1) Check Current trend :

Here in chart :
Retest - Chart breakout from downtrend
Wave 1 > Consolidation 1 > Wave 2 > Consolidation 2

Now Wave 3 above breakout of Consolidation 2

2) When this uptrend can reverse ?

- Resistance of Wave 1 = Support of Wave 2
- Till price is above high of previous wave its uptrend
- If it breaks trend weakens and may reverse

3) When to enter ?

- Chart consolidates after every pump
- Always enter in breakout of consolidation

4) When to exit ?

- When it breaks the high of previous wave / upside
- When it breaks trendline support
- When there is BIG BIG Red candle

VWAP - One of the most trusted indicator is volume-weighted average price (VWAP). Simply average the price and volume and indicate a price point of the trading of day. Works in #intraday Only.

How to use #vwap -

- Entry based on #VWAP in morning gives max gains.
- In a bull chart it won't touch VWAP again in day.

1) Earnings before Interest Tax Depreciation & Amortization (EBITDA) margin -

It shows how efficiently an organization is operating.

Ratio = EBDITA / Net Sales

EBITDA = Operating Income (EBIT) + Depreciation + Amortization

EBDITA Margin of 10% and more is considered good.

2) PAT Margin -

Its similar to EBDITA Margin, the only difference is - it is calculated after taxes.

PAT Margin = [PAT/Total Revenues]

A good margin will vary considerably by industry, but as a general rule of thumb, 5% is low, 10% is avg and 20% can be considered high

3) Return on equity

It indicates how much return the shareholders are making over their initial investment in the company

ROE - [Net Profit / Shareholders Equity* 100]

Generally 15%+ ROE can be considered to invest in a company with a good cashflow and low debt.

4) ROCE - Return on Capital Employed

Return on Capital employed indicates the overall return the company generates considering both the equity and debt

ROCE = [Profit before Interest & Taxes / Overall Capital Employed]

ROCE of 15% and above is considered good

1/Closing price different from the last trading price (LTP)

•There is so much noise regarding PE premiums going up or CE premiums losing their value tomorrow morning at the opening ( in case flat).

•Remember that the LTP usually differs from the closing price.

2/ This is because the closing price is the weighted average price of the last 30 mins of trading.

•The difference today is noticeably more as the market made a sharp upmove post 15:00 hours i.e. the last 30 mins.

Even the biggest handles with 100k+ followers get this simple thing wrong in charting!🤦‍♂️

This is the most important thing especially if you are analysing long term charts!🧐

So, let's get this right today!

USE LOG CHARTS 📈 FOR ANALYSING LONG TERM CHARTS!

1⃣ Wait, What's Log chart?

Before I define Log chart, let's look at the chart you are using daily - 'The Linear Chart'

- Linear chart is used by default in most platforms. This is probably why you never knew log charts

Wait, don't click on 'log' yet before you understand it...

2⃣ ok, so what does Linear chart mean?

Take a look at the image
- The y-axis is separated equally by 1000 points starting from 0 to 11000.
- So, any linear chart would have its y-axis equally separated by 'N' points always

And... that's where the problem lies...

3⃣ But, I don't see any problem?🤔

Ok ok.. let me explain...

- Can you look at this #TATAELXSI chart & tell me the price in '99 when it was listed? No!
- Can you draw a proper trendline in this chart? No!

Reason is because of the price congestion between '07 to '20...

4⃣ What else?🧐

- Whenever there is a price change in an instrument & it's drastic it'd be difficult to analyse on a linear chart

- Look at this example of #BTCUSD. What happened in 2021(refer to the red box)? 🤔

All this is because of the equally spaced Y-axis!

hmmm... ok🙄
