Mosquito Coils & Vapouriser : Passive poison

- Monsoon season do remind about mosquito menace an awful biting army

- Most sought method to repell them are mosquito Coils, Vapouriser and areosol based spray

- These are nothing but scented slow poison !

- Most of chemical based mosquito repellent are loosely regulated and classified as household insecticide

- The major chemical ingredient is allethrin a harmful type of pyrethroid and it's present inalmost all brands

-Inhaling one mosquito Coil = smoking one cigarette

Manufacturers trick the government regulations by enhancing the percentage of composition of it's derivatives as law has loop hole for
composition of allethrin only Not it's derivatives

So called extra strong, plus, jumbo etc should be read as more harmful than normal

Another way to trick the regulation is classifying the not permitted additives as other ingredients

Until there is a madrush for powerful insecticide these folks would keep surviving with innovative jargons

Repellent are heavily scented to obfuscate the excessive amount of additive in place plus tricking the users mind using soothing aroma

EVOLUTION OF CROWNS

The ancient Indian kings called a head crown as a Mukut and it would mostly constitute of a golden ornamental headgear like an oval cap with gems.

Sometimes it would also include a halo circle to show the divinity of the king

As it was considered that kings were appointment by the gods themselves. Example the kings of mewar considered themselves to be the ‘Diwan of eklingji')

But in most cases very few Mukut with halo effect have been found.

Samudragupta in the gupta era coin. You can see the helmet like headwear on him.

Till gupta era the solid golden head wear was used in most days of the monarch.

But since the onset of 8th century it reduced in usage and was now used only as a ceremonial headwear.

Whereas earlier the Maharaja had to wear the mukut whenever his court was in session.

Still mukut was being used prominently for ceremonial activities till recent times.

But as times past the style of headwear also changed.

The kings mostly wore turbans ordained with pearls and gems while rarely anyone wore a true Mukut after 16th century.

This shloka describes the form of वेदमाता गायत्री.

• It says, "She has five faces which shine with the colours of a Pearl 'मुक्ता', Coral 'विद्रुम', Gold 'हेम्', Sapphire 'नील्', & a Diamond 'धवलम्'.

• These five faces are symbolic of the five primordial elements called पञ्चमहाभूत:' which makes up the entire existence.

• These are the elements of SPACE, FIRE, WIND, EARTH & WATER.

• All these five faces shine with three eyes 'त्रिक्षणै:'.
