You may have read thousands of such headlines and claims online.
They tell you only half the story.
To calculate trailing returns, you have to pick a mutual fund’s NAV from two specific dates.
And calculate how much the NAV has increased during the period.
NAV of ‘ABC’ fund on 1st Oct 18 = INR 100
NAV of ‘ABC’ fund on 30th Sept 21 = INR 175
3-year CAGR = 20.51%
You have to calculate it point to point.
If you change the dates, the returns may fluctuate.
Trailing returns depend heavily on specific dates.
Here you calculate returns over a fixed period based on different start dates.
Then average all those returns to find out the rolling returns.
Returns are rolled every month.
1st Jan 2007 to 1st Jan 2010
1st Feb 2007 to 1st Feb 2010
1st March 2007 to 1st March 2010 and so on...till 1st Jan 2017 to 1st Jan 2020.

• MIN
• Average rolling returns.
It shows a clear picture of a fund’s performance.
Many research websites do this job for you.
You can find out every fund’s rolling returns with Google search.

பொருள்: இந்த அதித்ய ஹ்ருதயம் என்ற துதி மங்களங்களில் சிறந்தது, பாவங்களையும் கவலைகளையும்
குழப்பங்களையும் நீக்குவது, வாழ்நாளை நீட்டிப்பது, மிகவும் சிறந்தது. இதயத்தில் வசிக்கும் பகவானுடைய அனுக்ரகத்தை அளிப்பதாகும்.

The best thing you can do is challenge disinformation and report posts where engagement isn’t appropriate. Many of these are blatantly racist posts designed to drive recruitment to NP and other Nationalist groups. By all means protest but stay safe.
