What I mean is, who’s/what evidence is empirical to prove or disprove the existence of systemic racism? For those who affirm CRT, it is proof. And others go to Civil Rights Legislation for disproof. Saying that “Systemic Racism” ended in the 1964 Civil Rights
Era.

The second most prevalent argument is over the definition of systemic. And depending on the definition, it may be accurate to say there is no systemic racism. But that depends on the way one is using the word systemic. Yet ppl seem to rarely define what they mean by systemic

The third argument is over the validity of experience. How much does personal experience count in one’s evaluation of racism? Some say none. That is just Standpoint Epistemology. Personal Agency matters not Personal Experience. But how does one do that?

How does one say your personal experience is not truth, but your responsibility to act against that experience is? Personal Agency comes out of personal experience. There is no agency without experience. I’m responsible for what? My actions stemming from my experiences.

I've just been challenged by a security guard at @LidlGB.

He informed me that a policy has been rolled out today that requires security to "politely challenge" customers without masks.

After informing him I was exempt, he asked me for my card.

I said I didn't need one and...

that he wasn't supposed to challenge me or ask me to present one.

We then exchanged some pleasantries, very politely, where I asked him to either refuse me entry or let me in.

I advised him that if he refused me entry, he was acting against the law and I would have to sue him..

He advised me that because this was my first time, he would let me shop but asked me to bring the card next time.

I reminded him I didn't need one and wouldn't be bringing a card or wearing a lanyard and told him that the next time I shopped I would present the legal documents..

that early shown that an exempt person can not be asked to present documents or refused entry as this would be a breach of the discrimination act.

I told him that I would request to see the store manager and ask for the name of the man or woman who was refusing me entry so...

that I could sue them in their personal capacity.

I was then introduced to the store manager and we exchanged the same story.

She asked me politely to buy a lanyard or bring my card otherwise she could refuse me entry.

1/ For anyone who is on the fence about @growclass, I remember the exact moment I was sitting in my car in the parking lot on September 9th, 2020 calculating on the phone what the ROI would need to be for me to join the program.

2/ I had calculated that if this program got me about 11 extra students paying $250 CAD each over the next 12 months, this course would pay for itself.

Considering how much I have valued @skstock's help and advice, I was confident it would be at least that, probably more.
