So, in Trumpās narcissistic cycle, there is a predictable sequence of phases that play out whenever he is facing a public humiliation.
1) Double Down Donnie
2) Loco Lawn Sprinkler
3) Sad and Silent
4) Hunting for Scapegoats
5) Riding the Excuse Train
1/
Whenever Trump is facing a public embarrassment he sees coming, he first doubles down on all of the stupid shit that put him in that hole to begin with. He has no other tools.
Then he frantically spins like a lawn sprinkler desperately spraying unhinged nonsense.
2/
The worse the pending embarrassment, the more unhinged the nutbaggery out of his mouth.
See: the past week.
It has been just a firehose of industrial-grade batshit.
3/
Then, when the embarrassment arrives, he gets quiet and sullen like a chastised little boy and runs off to cocoon.
Listen to the clips from the thread in the first post. Talking about his presidency in a tired, dejected past tense.
No aggression. No real fight left.
4/
Trump entirely disregulates as the embarrassment train is bearing down. He seems out of control because he is. No control over himself. An overtired toddler x1,000.
Then the train passes the point of avoidance though and Trump shrinks into a sad ball (albeit briefly).

The real danger for the country isnāt the election results, itās the reaction to, and the refusal to accept the results. For more than four years, Trump and the Right Wing Media Echo Chamber have conditioned his supporters to believe the election is āriggedā. They believe itā¦.1/
In a recent thread about collective election anxiety/PTSD, I wrote that āone half the country doesnāt believe in evidence, the other half canāt trust it.ā 2/
This couldnāt more evident than by the fact that 87 percent of Trump supporters believe he will win re-election, despite the fact that⦠3/
ā¦the empirical data that shows Biden *should* win easily. This has resulted in https://t.co/e8JNg5tYmK calculating that Trump has only a 10% chance of winning. To be clear, 10% is a non-zero number, much like the 30% chance that Trump had in 2016. 4/
But the real problem isnāt necessarily about low probabilities, the real problemā¦..or more accurately, the dangerā¦..lies in the pathologically unrealistic expectations of the cult of Trump: 90% of them have been conned into thinking that a 10% probability is a āsure thingā. 5/

The collective anxiety is the by-product of two unfortunate realities of the Trump era:

1)You\u2019ll never go broke if you consistently bet on the ignorance/depravity of 1/3 of this country.
2)One-half of the country doesn\u2019t believe in evidence. The other half can\u2019t trust it.

Leaving aside the antagonistic rhetoric, this response highlights the inadequacy of late salafi theology.
The entire post is premised on the understanding that one should adopt the salafi methodology is these regards, namely, to affirm the apparent meaning of an attribute while negating the kayfiyat. This raises a number of problems
Firstly, what does it mean when one takes the apparent meaning of things.Vernacularly speaking, all words are given specific meanings along with their specific connotations.Hence, taking a lexically established vernacular definition requires one to adopt its attached connotations
By negating that specific meaning of a word, one also negates that given connotation. In this way, one may affirm the terms itself, while negating its meaning, and thereby negating its connotations.
Ex: Affirming the literal meaning of "hand" for Allah entails affirming its attached connotations. By rejecting the affirmation of the literal meaning of hand, we then reject its attached connotations.

Western governments need better mechanisms in place to be able to integrate refugees they help with. The world has a lot of displaced refugees who need genuine help. Bad actors are actively looking to exploit this as a vulnerability. Better screenings and integration is needed!
At this point what is glaringly obvious is that without proper integration into the social contracts of the host country, societies tend to get fragmented and tribes emerge.
As soon as this happens, separatists movements begin their work to dismantle the host countryās social contracts. While those separatists movements such as Islamists may just merely cause disruption and terror, they won't still be able to change those countries immediately.
But that change process would have already begun in a trajectory that has active selection pressures until contain will continue to optimize. But the immediate disruption and terror should be setting off alarm bells when you zoom out to see where those trajectories are heading.
We can already see this happening in many western countries with already past headway made in an increasing trajectory of encroachment onto the years of hard won social contracts of those countries.

People see what Trump is doing to the country. They see how much worse our country is doing than other countries dealing with Covid. They see the violence on both the right and the left that is exacerbated by Trumpās stoking of the divide.
They see how Trump lauds White Supremacists. They see how he caters to the super wealthy. They saw how he was revealed not only to not be a billionaire as he claimed, but to be millions of dollars in debt. He lies about everything. Heās not under audit. He never built a wall.
They see how heās a desperate wuss, constantly attacking anyone who affronts his vanity - he just isnāt man enough to take criticism. He sucks up to dictators across the globe because he wants to be one - but heās not smart enough.
They see how he goes on about Bidenās mental capacity but he canāt say the word Yosemite and shows massive signs of dementia and degeneration. America is on to his game of accusing his opponent of whatever his flaw is.
He made fun of Bidenās son for being a recovering drug addict - something almost all of us, Democrat or Republican, have in our lives and love.
What do you thinking is the biggest reason more Texans are voting? A specific issue or what?
