Rama Theertha is a tiny water fall spring about 9m high. The force will be same thru out the year even in hot summer, & no one could identify the source of the tiny water fall coming from hill stone.

During Satya Yugam, Devas and Asuras were physically in different locations.. that is Devas were in Deva Lokam which was distinct from where Asuras lived in the the Asura Loka. A conflict would happen when any Asura wanted more than just his loka and went to occupy Deva Loka.

And then the Paramatman would wage a war almost always single handed.

Now coming to Treta Yuga, the Devas [Sri Rama] and Asuras were both in one loka. Some distant apart, but still one loka only.

Conflict would happen when, as in case of Satya Yugam, when the Asuras tried to disrupt the devas. In this case, Sri Rama went TO the asura loka be it Janasthana or Lanka and fought with them, along with help from other divine beings i.e vanaras.

This changed even further in Dwapara Yugam when the devas and asuras were born in the same family Sri Krishna & Balarama vs their mama Kamsa or Pandavas vs Kauravas. And the conflict arose as soon as they were born.

When Kusa’s daughter married a Yadava prince, this murthi moved to the lunar dynasty from solar.

It is said that the utsav murthi got the name Selva Pillai due to Sri Ramanuja.
Once, a Sultan took away this murthi and Sri Ramanuja went in its search to the Sultan’s palace.

It is not known who designed the Great Pyramid, but the man responsible for supervising its complex construction was Hemiunu, Khufu’s nephew, a senior civil servant who acted as the pharaoh’s vizier.

Despite the mystery surrounding Giza, Hemiunu himself was a flesh-and-blood man, as shown by his decidedly lifelike—and fleshy—statue, found in his tomb in Giza’s west cemetery.

1) Repeated Corporate Governance issues - Exit a stock if there is news of repeated CG issues popping up every now and then. It takes a mountain to change a bad management. Better opportunities always exists.

2) If the financial performance of the company is declining - keep a watch on this over quarters to see if the performance in profits and sales is consistently going down. Attend AGM, Concalls to understand the reasons for same.

3) If the working capital days is increasing - keep a check on receivables days. A higher receivables days QoQ over a period, shows that working capital cycle is strained.

4) If borrowings increase - Check on if the borrowings have gone up due to capex or as a working capital effect. If for capex, check if company has ability to repay the same in a down cycle. Too much of leverage usually kills a business.

Once Vasishta Maharshi was doing Shiva pooja and Indra sent Kamadenu (divine cow) for abhishekam for Paramashiva. Kamadenu delayed to pour milk for pooja and Vasishta mini cursed Kamadenu to become an ordinary cow loosing all its powers.

As a relief from curse Maharshi suggested the cow to go to this place and pray Paramashiva under the Vanni tree to recover its divinity. Kamadenu came here poured the milk and prayed to Mahadeva and thus got its divinity back.
Agastya Muni is believed have received

medicinal values about various herbs here from Mahadeva. Thus, the Marundeeswarar temple has been a place of worship for people with various diseases, who gets cured.

Very simply, it's a loan.

Instead of borrowing money from a bank, a company (or government) will borrow from investors. So investors will give the company money & in exchange they get paid interest (called coupons)

Fancy term for the IOU is "bond issuance"

I'm an investor, how do the mechanics work?

Company sells you a bond for $100 and promises you 5% every year for 3 years. They also pay you $100 at the end.

Yr 1: $5
Yr 2: $5
Yr 3: $5 + $100

That's $115 (or a 15% return) after 3 years. Right?

The real return is closer to 10%

Why are my returns so much lower?

$100 today is worth more than $100 in 3 years from now - yes, inflation!

Even at a modest 1.5% inflation each year, the $100 you give up today is worth less than $96 in 3 years from now.

How come bonds are always quoted in yields (%s) instead of actual prices like shares?

Bonds have different maturities* & coupons - quoting a percentage makes it easy to compare different bonds & compare against other assets.
