What is a True Market Leader / TML (Thread)

(And how to find them)

 In one sentence a TML is an institutional quality stock in a leading industry group with superior fundamentals and technicals

These are monster stocks which over the course of weeks and months increase +100% to +5,000%
TMLs are popular with traders/investors whose methodology is based on the CANSLIM system developed by William O'Neil.

He called them Model Book Stocks. Huge winners worth studying to identify common characteristics that they all share
O'Neil studied over 1000 model book stocks going back to the 1880s.

So what are the Fundamental characteristics of a TML?

Superior:

Quarterly Sales Growth > 25% YoY
Quarterly Earnings Growth > 25% YoY
Pre+After Tax Margins >20% Recent Quarters
ROE >17%
Annual Earnings Ests for the next year > 25%

Story- A new and innovative product or service
Not every TML will have all of these criteria, but in general their record should be outstanding with regards to most of them.

The higher these values the better. Earnings and Sales growth over 100% QoQ is ideal. Annual Estimates for next year over 100% would be exceptional
TMLs are also often in the Top 20 Industry groups at the times of their runs.

The TML is the leader of an overall top group which is riding the tailwinds of changing environments.

$TSLA $NIO Electric Vehicles (Auto Manufacturers)
Additionally base liquidity is required for these stocks to be institutional quality.

Dollar Volume > $30 Million is essential and most should have DV much higher than that

Accumulation by big hedge funds and mutual funds like Fidelity Contrafund are what move the markets. They won't touch a promising stock unless it has liquidity.
Now for Technical Characteristics of TMLs:

Above a Rising 30 Week Moving Average
Breaking out of a Stage 1 or Stage 2 Base
Trending above Key Moving Averages (10, 21ema, 50sma)
Volume and Price contractions within bases
Up/Down Vol> 1.2
Huge gaps up on volume after Earning Beat
And most importantly they must be showing Relative Strength, meaning they are outperforming the vast majority of stocks in the market.

This. is. vital.

RS Rating over 97 is ideal
During corrections and overall market weakness they should be near all time highs, above their longer term moving averages

They should be standing out like a sore thumb.

During Market Uptrends they should be trending above the shorter term moving averages, forming sideways shelfs during small pullbacks and then breaking out again.

Most stay above their 50 SMAs and even 21 emas for extended periods of time.
So how to scan for them.

Use @MarketSmith, the IBD Stock Screener, Finviz, or another screener

and screen for the fundamental criteria mentioned above
combined with the stock over the 200+50 SMA
It's helpful to have multiple screens splitting up the criteria for instance one scan for the earnings and one for sales.

Here is How To Read a Stock Chart For Beginners (Thread)

Let's start with the basics.

When you first pull up a stock chart you will see Price and Volume plotted versus time.


Each price bar represents one period of whatever timeframe you are on

Some people like candlesticks, I personally think Open/High/Low/Close (OHLC) Bars are more intuitive

For each bar/candle, the four important data points of each period are represented:

High
Low
Open
Close.


For each bar, we want to be able to determine whether buyers or sellers are in control and how much conviction they have.

To do this we use our tools: Price and Volume

Thing about turning a price Bar 90 degrees counter clockwise so the high is now on the left and the low is now on the right.

Then picture a game of tug of war with participants representing buying pressure on the left and selling pressure on the right.

What is Relative Strength (RS) and how to identify it (Thread)

Focusing on stocks exhibiting strong Relative Strength is one of the keys to achieving superior returns. This is one of the core ideas of #CANSLIM

In one sentence showing RS means outperforming other stocks both during market uptrends and downtrends.

In this thread we will cover examples, how to spot it, and how to use it to make sure you are in the top stocks.

If you want to outperform the indexes, logic says you have to be invested in stocks doing the same.

First Some Basic Terminology:

RS Rating: @IBDinvestors Proprietary measure of RS scored 1-99. Stocks with an RS rating of 80 have outperformed 80% of stocks over the past year.

RS Line: The Line plotted by dividing each day’s stock price/ price of the SPX.


The value of the RS line itself does not mean anything, but the trend of this line is very important.

-Note RSI (Relative strength index) is something completely unrelated to the concept of this thread.

10 Essential Trading Principles (Thread)

1️⃣ Trade Plan:

The first thing before a position is initiated is a clear plan must be in place detailing specific entry areas, their associated sell stops, and potential profit-taking zones.

Below are some factors to consider when crafting your trade plan:

✅ Individual Goals
✅ Personal Progress
✅ Current Market Environment
✅ The many fundamental and technical factors relevant to each individual stock, its sector, industry group, and its overall strength relative to the rest of its industry.

2️⃣ Risk Management:

This is the golden key to consistent success in the stock market. Yes, it is even more important than stock selection.

Bernard Baruch, a close friend of Livermore said even being right 3 or 4x out of 10 should yield a person a fortune if he cuts his losses.

3️⃣ Annual & Quarterly Earnings:

Look for companies with:

✅ Annual earnings that are positive and have been increasing YoY for at least 3 years.
✅ At least 25% QoQ earnings/sales growth for a minimum of 3 quarters.

These are early indicators a stock may be ready to explode.

8 Chart Patterns by William O'Neil

Let's break them down one by one🧵


Perhaps the most famous basing pattern found in the market is the Cup with Handle pattern.

✅ Chart resembles a cup with a handle
✅ Base length: Minimum 7 weeks
✅ Base depth: 20-30%
✅ Buy point: high of the handle
✅ Handle length: 1 week
✅ Handle depth: no more than 15%


There is also a Cup without Handle pattern.

✅ Chart is just a cup, no handle
✅ Base length: Minimum 7 weeks
✅ Base depth: 20-30%
✅ Buy point: High of left side of cup


The Double Bottom chart pattern is also very common & is one of the most powerful patterns to learn.

✅ Base resembles a "W"
✅ Base length: Min. 7 weeks
✅ Base depth: < 40%
✅ Buy point: middle of "W"
✅ Second low must undercut first low


The Flat Base pattern is another well known structure coined by William O'Neil.

✅ Base resembles a shallow consolidation
✅ Prior uptrend must be greater than 30%
✅ Base length: Minimum of 5 weeks
✅ Base depth: < 15%
✅ Buy point: High of structure

- Don't list 15 things and libraries you worked with, pick the most related ones to the role you're applying.

(Brahmini, maheshwari, kowmari, vaishnavi, varahi, indirani and chamundi) were travelling there on a tortoise through the water. The tortoise was unable to move, because the Water had made its way for Parashurama. The place where the tortoise became Still came to be known as 👇


Aama Ni Nidayam' ( Aama means tortoise) and later become ‘Ameda’. Parashurama came to know about the journey of Sapthamathrukkal. Thus, he did Prathishta for the Sapthamathrukkal here.
7 forms of Aadi Parashakthi are Sapthamathrukkal. Veerabhadra and Ganesha have Sannidhi here.


The main Garbhagriham in the temple is the Sapthamathrukkal. There are Sannidhi to Nagas, Nagayakshi and Vishnu too. Sarparadhana or snake worship is done here. Naga Panchami is famous here. Those who have Naga Dosham come here and get relieved of their Doshas.

THE BATTLE OF SARAIGHAT (1671)

Lachit Borphukan's humiliation of Aurangzeb.

The battle of Saraighat was a naval engagement fought on the Brahmaputra river near Saraighat between the M0ghul empire and Ahom kingdom in 1671.

Koch was a state situated between the dominions of M0ghuls and Ahoms. For Ahoms, it was a buffer state for keeping M0ghul territorial expansions at bay.(1)

Times changed when the ruler of the Koch kingdom, Nara Narayana passed away in 1587 resulting in Koch being divided into 2. Western Koch was ruled by his son Lakshmi Narayan and the eastern Koch by his nephew, Raghudev.(2)

Lakshmi Narayan formed an alliance with M0ghuls after which he attacked Parikshit, son of Raghudev, in 1602. Parikshit Narayan was defeated while his brother Bali Narayan took refuge in the Ahom Kingdom.(3)

The M0ghuls used it as a pretext to invade Ahom kingdom. The first battle between them took place in 1615 leading to a series of engagements in which both sides had their shares of ups and downs resulting in a stalemate.(4)

One fascist to watch in 2021 is Joseph Charles "Oakman" Golinske of SE MI. He's been a Proud Boy for a couple years, but took a break recently from the group and promotes himself through the "Oak Nation" channel on Telegram.


Most people may be familiar with him as the tall guy in the Proud Boys bridge shot, from their August 17, 2019 attack on Portland, which featured an American Guard bus trying (and failing) to bludgeon antifascists with hammers.


He was also with his g/f at the time (Dominique Tota, left of Tarrio), and that's definitely a twitter account folks will want to block/report because he posts on it.


He's been plenty active at the pro-Covid/anti-mask/ReOpen protests in Lansing MI, seen here with Jerry Wayne and an effigy of Gretchen Whitmer, who his militia friends tried to kidnap and publicly execute.


Outside of the Proud Boys, his solo "career" with Oak Nation features the same misogyny, classism and gateway to far-right domestic terrorism the Proud Boys themselves feature. Here's him peddling oxychlorinque and bragging about harassing service workers.
