Rules for Long
1) Break of Cam R4 / PDH whichever is higher.
2) Stop Cam R3.
3) If capital = 1 lac, then RA = 1% of 1lac = 1000, Posn Size = 1000 / (r4-r3)
4) Exit 50% - 75% at 1:2 Reward. Move stop to cost for remaining.

5) Entry style finer tips - Breakout of R4; Plot a 20 period MA. If candle size is big on breakout of R4, wait for retest to either R4 or 20 period MA and enter at a bullish pa closer to any of these.
6) Exit style finer tips - Exit 50% at 1:2 (Very imp)....

Balance 50%, either trail at cost or trail along with 20 period MA. Keep trailing SL in system. Not in mind.
7) Maximum loss per day should not exceed 3%, which means that by chance if you have tried 3 stocks and all 3 failed, stop trading for the day. Dont try to recover..

8) Include your profits for next day position sizing thereby giving room for compounding gradually.
9) If broader market is in general up, it is better to enter r4 breakouts; if broader market is in general down, it is better to enter s4 breakouts....

10) If not sure about broader markets, enter one r4 breakout and one s4 breakout simultaneously if your account size permits.

Ok. Let me take you to one method of adding stocks in a healthy uptrend while they are retracing. I learnt this from the classical work of David Landry (2003)

Conditions - Healthy uptrend and retracing.

But - you don't know how deep the retracement will be.

So, what to do?

Example - Minda Corp Chart

Healthy uptrend? Yes
Retracement? Yes

With every retracement candle, we move our buy limit order at candle's high. So the first order we placed at 1. In a way, we are telling the broker to buy when the price crosses 1.

Ok. So it has gone down further the next day, we shift the buy order at 2.

Then again at 3

Then at 4.

We do it it'll it is triggered and shares are bought. In this way, we dodge Fibonacci numbers. As by drawing 38% of 61.8% we couldn't ever know till how deep the stock goes.

You can use the same with your SIP stocks for long-term investment while buying at the dips. As you never know till how deep it dips. :) So, you will have cash always till you buy near the bottom. Of course of retracement, not the trend reversal.

A healthy uptrend is the first condition. Happy investing :)

That is why you must learn about what each legend has written. You can save a lot of your hard-earned money. Place a SL little above candle's high.

#FreeTip If 1-2 days before earnings if you observe a otherwise nice uptrending that passes trend template criteria, down 3-5% with low volume (5-10 day low), it is most likely retail panic selling before results and chance of upmove increases .

If it takes you more than 5-7 secs on a chart, its not worth a trade. The chart/setup should be appealing at first sight. #TrainYourEyes. I go thru abt 200 charts daily and maybe approx 250+ on weekends
How my watchlist is prepared:
1) Once a chart looks attractive, I,

Toggle the chart in multi TF's to spot any PA/ patterns
2) Recheck with diff indicators like ST/Ichi/Cci
to see if anything favorable or otherwise
3) 1 last check on HA (dbl/triple confirmation)
4) If FnO stock, I go through the OI/ COI data else corelate volumes with pa

5) Jot down Entry/ SL levels.
Next morning, go through the preopen prices of the watchlist & try to spot any unusual activity like BO, etc.
Finally at opening i check for possible O=H/L or ORB

D and M can be assessed only after mkt opens. Trend can be assessed the prev day through Cam lvl 3 width. Try trading BNF ONLY when Cam width is narrower (Red) which can be assessed the prev day. U can see improved results.

One simple trick for staying safe in this market pick stock in SIP mode only if at least once they have gone RSI oversold through last month ...it represents a panic sell has shred many weak hands

If done multiple times its safer assuming fundamentals are good
