2.Elder's Force Index (EFI)
It measures the power behind a price movement using price and volume. Can also be used to identify potential reversals and price corrections. It's Divergence indicates a reversal, see in the image attached.


3. Chande Kroll Stop
Denotes the SL for either a short or long position.
Red line represents the SL for a short position, whereas the green line represents the SL for a long position. It's calculation is based on Average True range.


4. Choppiness Index (CHOP)
It determines if the market is choppy (trading sideways) or not choppy (trading within a trend in either direction).
Higher values equal more choppiness (bad for directional traders), while lower values indicate directional trending.

76. BankNifty's move depends on moves of mainly 5 banks - HDFCBank, ICICI Bank, SBI, Kotak & Axis bank: track OI buidup & PA of these daily.

75. Open charts of each of these banks daily & see which is near an important resistance or support, that can affect BankNifty's movement immensely the next day - track that bank closely the next day.

74. HDFCBank (26%) & ICICIbank (23%) are the biggest contributor in BankNifty : give more importance to these two.

73. SBI, Kotak & Axis bank each contribute around 11%, but if two of them align with each other & HDFCBank & ICICI are neutral, they'll decide the direction.

72. SBI being the major PSU bank, can move opposite to these giants & create a turbulence, keep it in mind.

Hammer

- bullish signal, consisting of a short upper body and longer lower wick.

- forms because the prices bounced back even after selling pressure.

- hammer at the bottom of a downtrend indicates that the trend has changed to bullish.


Hanging Man

- A hammer formation at the top of an uptrend.

- It is a bearish signal indicating the end of the uptrend.

- The long lower wick indicates that the buyers have tried to keep the prices up but the sellers are gaining control.


Inverted Hammer

- If it forms at the bottom of a downtrend is a bullish trend reversal signal.

- It indicates that the buyers were able to resist selling pressure as sellers were not able to take the price down much.

- View confirms by a green candle afterward.


Shooting Star

- inverted hammer formation at the top of an uptrend.

- It is a bearish trend reversal signal.

- The long upper wick indicates that the buyers were not able to take the prices up, as sellers are gaining control.

India had a well developed education system centuries before the westerners arrived and called us uncivilized. Education was always given a great importance in Indian civilisation since times immemorial.


Ancient India had the Gurukulas and Ashramas as the epicentres of the knowledge and enlightenment. Bigger Gurukulas served as the centres of higher education called universities. Besides these universities, temples also emerged as the major learning centres.

Studying the Holy Scriptures, character building, personality development, responsibilities towards self,family and society,discipline and preservation of the ancient culture and heritage were the key embodiments of education.

This kind of education system made ancient India, a centre of knowledge all over the world. Many foreign students came to India for education and India was called the 'Vishwaguru'.
Takshshila and Nalanda were the two prominent universities of ancient India.


But were these only Universities of ancient India?The answer is 'No'.Let's learn about these gems of our education system that flourished across ancient India & be proud.

#TodayInHistory Ram Prasad Bismil,Ashfaqullah Khan and Roshan Singh are hanged in 1927, as they give up their life for the cause of freedom and inspire many a revolutionary. #LestWeForget


Shahjahanpur was a hub of revolution during the freedom struggle. Most of the revolutioaries in the North, were from this town. And among them, the most famous were two friends, whom destiny would bring together- Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan.

Ashfaqullah Khan was born at the turn of the 20th century on October 22, while Bismil was born 3 years earlier on June 11, in the same town. Both of them were excellent writers in Urdu and Hindi.

Both of them would come together under the Hindustan Republican Association, not to mention the fact that Ashfaq was an admirer of Bismil’s poetry, and became close friends with him on that account.

And both these men were hanged on the same date, December 19, 1927 for their involvement in the Kakori event. Two men from different religions, different backgrounds, yet destiny would bring them together.

Dr. Anandibai Joshi

Upon her birth on 31 March 1865 she was named Yamuna, after the holy river. Her parents Gunputrao Amritaswar Joshee & Gungabai Joshee came from a long lineage of wealthy landlord family in Kalyan of Bombay Presidency, whose wealth was now waning.


Anandi was the sixth of 10 children, & had 4 brothers (only two of which survived) & five sisters. Her father was particularly fond of her, as she was a bright child with an inquisitive mind. Being an educated man himself, Ganpatrao assured that his daughter was taught Marathi.

As was common practice she was married at a tender age of 9, to Gopalrao Joshi, a 29 year old widower who worked as a postal clerk in the same city. After marriage her husband named her ‘Anandibai’ (which means ‘Joy of my heart’).

Gopalrao was man ahead of his times with reformist ideas & had married Anandibai on the condition that he would be allowed to educate his wife.

He even tried to enroll Anandi in a missionary school, but did not succeed. Despite being the supportive husband, Gopalrao had his flaws.

He was a strict teacher & would sometimes resort to beating if Anandi slacked in her studies.

While main deity is Shiva as Kapartheeswarar, the kshetram is famous for Ganesha, known as Swetha/Vellai Vinayagar (white Vinayak)

During samudra manthan, Vasuki snake (used as rope) started spewing venom.


Unable to bear the intense heat, Devas rushed to Siva. He told them that this was because the task was started without getting Ganesha’s approval.
So the Devas created a Ganesha murti from white sea foam and worshipped it.
It was later taken by Indra to Indralok.

But once Indra had to come to Earth to pray to Shiva to seek relief from a curse inflicted on him. So he brought the murti of Ganesha with him. When he came here, he wanted to take bath before puja. So he gave the murti to a boy to hold for sometime. The boy was actually Shiva.


He kept the murti down and vanished. Indra could not lift it again and a divine voice told him to let Vinayagar stay there and visit every Ganesh Chaturthi to pray.
Since Vinayagar is made of foam, no abhishekam is done here. Only punugu is applied n camphor powder is sprinkled

Black movie goers know which movies are for us and which films aren’t. We really don’t like our stories being made into films that center (and humanize) people that hate us. The filmmakers/studio know that by naming the film “The Green Book”, black movie goers...

...are going to be expecting a story about black people trying to safely navigate the country (real history) and instead will get a white savior film. Like folks went to see Detroit thinking it was about the riots...

Anywhoo, I know Mahershela is fantastic in it. He was the best thing about the trailer. As rich as the history behind the creation of ‘The Green Book’ is/was, as amazing as Dr. Don Shirley’s story is, WHY is this film about a random, racist driver and his family?

This feeds into the ignorant anti-Black American stereotype of “Black Americans don’t have any culture/history/mythology” or whatever. That our stories are still both being used while simultaneously erased in 2018 is wild to me. It’s gonna clean up come award season. 🤦🏾‍♀️

And now, if black filmmakers WANTED to make a film about The Greenbook, guess what it can’t be called🙃. Just like if someone wanted to make a film about the actual Detroit riots, guess what it can’t be called? Then those filmmakers would run into...
