Our Sanatan Dharma talks about Patal Lok or the underworld. It is believed that Patal Lok is the home of the demons and nagas (serpents). Given that a place like Patalkot also exists in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh.

What Happened To Bhakt Prahlad after Hiranyakashipu Vadh

Prahlada became the mighty king of the Asuras after Shri Narsimha killed Hiranyakashipu. Prahlada was even more powerful than his father, Hiranyakashipu ever was. He enjoyed the love and respect of his subjects.

By virtue of his good behaviour, Prahlada conquered the three worlds easily and Indra ran away from the Heavens. Indra then deceived Prahlada into giving him the power of his behaviour and Prahlada lost control of the three worlds.

Asuras grew angry at the Devas for taking advantage of their King's virtuous behaviour and invaded the heavens. The Devas, afraid of the Asuras, enlisted the help of human Kings such as Yayati, Raji and Kakutstha and defeated them.

Prahlada attacked the gods and defeated Indra in battle, forcing the King of the Gods to run for his life. Indra sought help of Lord Vishnu. Infused with his power, Indra defeated Prahlada. The latter understood that Vishnu was helping Indra in battle and he withdrew his forces.

Prahlada first gave his kingdom to Andhaka, but the latter was defeated by Shiva. So Prahlada gave it to his son Virochana and undertook a Tirtha Yatra.

Bisti Badlands in New Mexico look more like a dreamscape or Alienland than a landscape. Resting beneath them sit what only can be described as giant cracked eggs, as if Mother Nature was cooking breakfast only to accidently

drop a carton onto the desert’s sandy floor and abandon the shattered shells.

How did a bunch of giant eggs get to this desolate area? The true story starts 73 million years ago.

At one time, this 45,000acre of desert called the Bisti Badlands was completely submerged by a sea

called the Western Interior Seaway during the Cretaceous Period. As the water receded, layers of sandstone, mudstone, shale and other sedimentary rocks were revealed, creating the Kirtland Formation, only to be carved out by braided streams that flowed through the landscape.

The result is today’s dry, eerie badlands.

“Over time, erosion of the soft mudstone weathered away leaving behind channel deposits [that formed into the shape of eggs and hoodoos],” Paleontologists explains that the eggs get their colorful, speckled appearance due to mineral

deposits in the stream that cut through the sedimentary rock. “The eggs’ cracks are the result of differential weathering—mudstone weathers faster than other sediments, causing the formations to crack.”

प्रयागराज के अलोपीबाग में स्थित अलोपी देवी मंदिर को मां अलोपशंकरी का सिद्धपीठ मंदिर नाम से जाना जाता है। यहां मां सती के दाहिने हाथ का पंजा एक कुंड में गिरकर अलोप (लुप्त) हो गया था,

इसी वजह से इस शक्ति पीठ को अलोप शंकरी नाम दिया गया।अतः यह मंदिर मां शक्ति के प्रमुख शक्तिपीठों में से एक माना जाता है। यह एक ऐसा खास मंदिर है, जहां कोई मूर्ति नहीं रखी गई है।

मंदिर प्रांगण के बीच के स्थान में एक चबूतरा है जहां एक कुंड बना हुआ है। इसके ऊपर एक खास झूला या पालना है, जिसे लाल कपड़े से ढंक कर रखा जाता है। मां सती की कलाई इसी स्थान पर गिरी थी। यह प्रसिद्ध शक्ति पीठ है और इस कुंड के जल को चमत्कारिक शक्तियों वाला माना जाता है।

आस्था के इस अनूठे मन्दिर में भक्त प्रतिमा की नहीं, बल्कि झूले या पालने की ही पूजा करते हैं।

यहां मान्यता है कि यहाँ कलाई पर रक्षा सूत्र बाँधकर मन्नत माँगने वाले भक्तों की हर कामना पूरी होती है और हाथ में धागा बंधे रहने तक देवी उनकी रक्षा करती हैं। नवरात्रों में यहां मां का श्रृंगार तो नहीं होता, परंतु उनके स्वरूपों का पाठ किया जाता है।

Sri Chakra Yantra of Tripura Sundari (commonly referred to as Sri Yantra) is a mandala formed by nine interlocking triangles. Four of these triangles are oriented upright, representing Shiva or the Masculine.

Five of these triangles are inverted triangles representing Shakti, or the Feminine. Together, the nine triangles form a web symbolic of the entire cosmos, a womb symbolic of creation, and together express Advaita Vedanta or non-duality.

Born on 19 July 1827 at Nagwa, Ballia district, of UP and Sacrificed his life on 8 April 1857 (aged 29) Barrackpore, Calcutta, Bengal Province, British India.

Mangal Pandey was an Indian soldier who played a key part in events immediately preceding the outbreak of the Indian rebellion of 1857. He was a sepoy in the 34th Bengal Native Infantry regiment of the British East India Company.

Remembering some of his famous quotes on his birth anniversary to pay him a warm tribute for his supreme sacrifice for our Great Nation.

My dad led an organization of over 300,000 employees.

When I took on my biggest marketing & events team to date (35 employees) I asked him how the *heck* he did it. Here's what he said and what helped me every day. 🧵

Remember you're leading all the employees under you, but you're not *managing* them all. You're managing your direct reports, which should be 5-7 individuals max. Focus on them.

When you interact with the employees you don't manage directly, get to know them as people first, that'll be the most valuable information in leading them. Remembering everything you learn about them is hard, but doing so will make you a superhero.

If you're not going to empower the managers under you, why do you have them? If you see room for improvement, let the manager know and let them make the change on their teams and come to you with questions/concerns. This will save you SO much time.

If you're the smartest person in any room - you're doing it wrong. As a leader, your job is bringing together the best people to get the job done - your skillset is identifying those people, not being one of them.
