One of the most underrated empires to ever grace India is the kingdom of Bhurshut from central Bengal.

A medieval powerhouse this kingdom stood firm against the Pathan invasion from Orissa twice, and with each time devastating the enemy forces.

Along with this, we also have to note that this was the time when the empire was under the reign of a widowed queen named Bhavashankari.

She wasn’t even born in a royal family and yet she achieved what most of the kings couldn’t do

This begs the question, why does no one remember this great kingdom?

Bhurshut empire thrived from 15th century till late 18th century as an independent kingdom while acting as tributary state with full autonomy.

What’s even more puzzling is that no one knows about the great queen Bhavanshakari who thrashed the Pathans single handedly without the aid of their allies.

Life of shri Adi Shankaracharya
Adi Shankaracharya wad one of the greatest mahatmas lived in Bharat. He was considered as amsa of shiva came to uplift mankind. He travelled country south to north 3 times and East to West 2 times within 32 years of age.

Parents
He was born in kaladi village in Kerala. Sivaguru and aryamba were devout couples. They were childless they prayed to vadakkunathar for child earnestly. Shiva said in dream whether he need atma Gyani of 16 year or dull son of 100 years. Sivaguru chosed former one.

Birth
Child was born on vaishaka Panchami and tiruvadira nakshatra. They named him Shankara. siva guru died when Shankara was aged 3. Her mother did his upanayanam with help of relatives. Shankara did mastered all Vedas within young childhood itself. All were suprised.

Poorna river changed its course
Once Shankaracharya saw mother struggling to took bath in Poorna river due to old age. Shankara prayed and river changed its course and came near Shankara house. Next day mother was suprised to see this. Now too we can see river Poorna in kaladi

Kanakadhara
Once Shankaracharya went to Bhiksha poor couple offered only Amla left in their house to brahmachari boy. Shankaracharya moved by this gesture immediately sang Kanakadhara stotra glorifying Mahalakshmi and rain of golden amla fall in that place.

It was the time when Alauddin Khilji became the Sultan of Delhi after murdering his own uncle. To fulfil his expansionist ambitions Khilji was on a conquering and annexing spree. He tried to annex all the neighbouring Kingdoms. The ones which couldn't be annexed, he conquered.

Among those many Kingdoms was a small but significant Kingdom of Jalore in Rajasthan which he could'nt append to his growing empire. It was during this time when Khilji was planning an attack on the King Karnade of Gujrat for Plundering,Looting his Kingdom&destroying the temples.

Khilji asked all Kingdoms in the path from Delhi to Gujarat to let his Army through the safe passage,to which all the Kingdoms agreed but one.
King Kanhadadev of Jalore didn't trust Khilji &he refused the safe passage anticipating the treacherous attack of Khilji on his Kingdom.

Out of desperation and disappointment Alauddin Khilji invited Kanhadadev to his court.
Kanhadadev however, sent his son Biram Dev. The Rajput Prince had a striking physique and features and a beautiful charismatic personality, who was famous for his valour and wrestling skills.

Khilji provoked Biram Dev for a wrestling match with the best of his fighters, to which the Prince agreed. However, more than a wrestling match, it was a conspiracy to kill him as Khilji had ordered his fighter to Kill Biram Dev during the fight.

Southe is cucumber and adka is meadow in Kannada.
Here, Maha Ganapathi is out in the open field without a Garbha gudi and shrine structure. The place is decorated with lot of bells offered for special wishes.

Once, a Ganapati shrine revered by a royal family was destroyed by enemies. To prevent enemies from destroying Ganapati murti, the cow herds of the place carried it along with them and installed it in a place where cucumber was grown in plenty.

The farmers of the place reaped huge harvests of cucumber, offered it to Ganapati and wished to build a shrine there but Ganapati appeared in their dream and asked them not to build a shrine as that would mean restrictions on devotees visiting the place to seek his blessings.

So no shrine was built here.
The most popular seva offered here is avalakki panchakajjaya seva (a mixture of beaten rice, jiggery, til, coconut, honey and banana) performed on a regular basis.

Somehow,my Parents arranged House’s Keys from Owner’s Relative & from that relative,my Parents finally came to know what actually happened on 19th Jan(e.g. slogans like,”We(Peacefuls) will make Kashmir Pakistan with Kashmiri Hindu Women,but without Kashmiri Hindu Men).Now as(4/n)

soon as my Parents entered inside their rented room & switched on d lights in evening,Local Peaceful’s network got alerted & started wondering,”How come this house’s owner has dared to come back to Kashmir after 10-15 days”.Just after 15-20 minutes,my Parents started hearing(5/n)

DEVI KARUMARIAMMAN, THIRUVERKADU (TN)

Devi is worshipped here as both Swayambhu (self-manifested) and as Parashakti (with 4 arms holding skull,sword,trishul,udukkai/damru).

Here, Muruga got Vel from Devi to fight Suran. So the place was called Vel kadu which became Verkadu.

It is said that there was an anthill here long ago. Devi appeared in the dream of a devotee and asked him to build a shrine at that spot. When the anthill was removed, the swayambhu murti of Devi emerged. So Devi is called Karuvil Illadha Karumari ( not in the womb of mother).

Once, Devi went to Surya in the form of an old woman but Surya neglected her. Devi’s anger made Surya lose his brightness.
To appease her, Surya said that His rays would fall on Her directly twice in a year and touch her feet. Also, Sunday is celebrated as day of Devi Karumari.

There is also a wooden image of Devi (Marachilai Amman) here. Devotees offer locks to her in the belief that She would safe guard their houses.
Temple tank (Thiruchamber Poigai) is said to have been created by Subramanya. Taking dip in it is said to cure skin related disorders.

Periyanayagi Amman Temple is situated at Devikapuram village of Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu. Temple is the second largest temple in Thiruvannamalai District after Arunachaleswarar Temple. Devi is worshipped here as

Periyanayagi or Brihannayaki. This is one of the 4 temples where Brahma did Prathista.

Sthala Puranam says that,  Devaki, came here and worshipped Amman. After worshiping here Devaki gave birth of Sri Krishna. Thus the area is called Devakipuram.

Paramashiva is Kanakagiriswarar here situated at the hill. Those who face obstacles in marriages worship Devi here. Temple has a big Rajagopuram and there are big Dwarapalakas on either side. There are many bee combs situated at the temple. It is believed that sages live here as

bees and birds to safeguard the Temple's treasures. There are 4 Theerthams in the Temple - The Brahma Theertham located inside the Temple and the Navagraha Theertham, Agni Theertham and the Devaradiyar Theertham.

How Saif Ali Khan's great grandfather tried to merge Bhopal in Pakistan: [Thread]

Saif's great grandfather was the Nawab of Bhopal.

He was a staunch supporter of Pakistan & Jinnah. He governed Bhopal by Sharia.

He wrote a letter inviting King of Afghanistan to invade India.

August 2 1947: Saif Ali Khan's great grandfather, Nawab of Bhopal wrote a letter to Jinnah.

He clearly states

"I am a staunch supporter of Pakistan. I want to merge Bhopal in Pakistan. Hindus are untrustworthy.

But Bhopal is 80% Hindu and surrounded by India. I am cut off"

He further says

"Hindus are intimidating me to join India. I know Pakistan has no means of helping me. But I want to know how much Pakistan can help me.

I would never sign and join India, come what might . I will continue to serve Pakistan and Islam!"

In other words, Saif Ali Khan's family tried everything in their power to merge Bhopal in Pakistan. But as Bhopal was in the center of India, neither Jinnah nor Nawab had military means to resist India. Had Bhopal been a frontier kingdom, it would have been a part of Pakistan!

सनातन धर्म में धन, सुख और समृद्धि के देवता कुबेर माने गए हैं ।एक बार कुबेर जी को इसी बात का अभिमान हो आया कि उनका इस संसार में कितना महत्व है। उनके बिना तो कोई भी व्यक्ति धन,सुख और समृद्धि को नहीं पा सकता।

कुबेर को इसबात का घमंड होगया कि उनमें इतनी क्षमता है कि वो सभी का भरण पोषण कर सकते हैं।उनके धन वैभव से वो किसी को भी तृप्त कर सकते हैं।अब कुबेर सभी देवी देवताओं के पास जाकर स्वयं ही अपना गुणगान करने लगे व ये सोचने लगे कि वे ऐसा क्या करें कि तीनों लोकों में उनकी और भी जय जयकार हो।

एकदिन अभिमान में चूर कुबेर जी कि मुलाकात देवर्षि नारद से होती है।नारद जी के सामने भी कुबेर अपना बखान और गुणगान करना शुरु कर देते हैं और उनसे ये पूछते हैं कि उन्हें और क्या करना चाहिये जिससे कि उनके वर्चस्व में चार चाँद लग जाएं। नारद जी उनकी बातों में छुपे अहंकार को भांप लेते हैं।

तब देवर्षि उन्हें कुछ ऐसा करने को कहते हैं जिससे कुबेर जी का अहंकार चूर हो जाए।नारद कुबेर को कहते हैं,"हे कुबेर!आपको अपने वर्चस्व में चार चाँद लगाने के लिए एक भव्य भोज का आयोजन करना चाहिए व उस भोज में संसार के सभी जीवों,सभी देवी-देवता,नाग,गन्धर्व,यक्ष आदि को आमंत्रित करना चाहिए।

इनके अलावा आप त्रिदेवों ब्रह्मा,विष्णु और महेश को भी सपरिवार आमंत्रित करें।ऐसे भव्य भोज का आयोजन करने से चारों दिशाओं और तीनों लोकों में आपके धन-वैभव और समृद्धि की जय-जयकार होगी।" कुबेर देवर्षि कि ये बात सुन बहुत ही खुश होते हैं और भव्य-भोज की तैयारी शुरु कर देते हैं ।

- The government fixes buying price (FRP – Fair & Remunerative price) for the mill from the farmers at 2.850/Kg
- Selling price is also fixed at Rs. 31/Kg (MSP – Minimum selling price) (2/n)

- Sugarcane purchased by the mill is crushed to remove the juice (exactly like you have sugarcane juice at a hotel)
- Juice is heated & boiled to remove sugar (3/n)

- The juice can be boiled upto 3 times to remove sugar. Each time it is boiled, sugar is removed, than some water is added and boiled again to remove more sugar (4/n)

- There are 2 by-products as well. The residue left behind after the boiling process is over is like a gum/paste called molasses & the fiber/stem of the sugarcane after juice is extracted (5/n)

2. You lose less during Draw-down time ( it saves you from losing big during whipsaws )

• Many times when the market is in sideways mode, Entering a trade with full risk might not be the best idea.

• So, you test the waters with a small position first, it could be ⅓ or ¼ of your total risk.

• So if the Breakout fails or whipsaws come, then you will only lose a small part of your overall risk.

• Then when position starts to go in your favor you can add to it.

3. It helps you to concentrate on a few trades,

They say that don’t put all your eggs in one basket, but don’t put them in too many either.

इस चक्र पर मंत्र का आघात करने से शरीर के सारे चक्र नियंत्रित होते हैं.

Statue of Equality (Ramanuja) Muchintal, Hyderabad, Telangana

The Statue of Equality is a monument in India dedicated to the 11th-century Vaishnavaite Sage Bhagavad Ramanuja, commemorating 1000 years since his birth. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji in 2019.

In 2014, Sri Chinna Jeeyar came up with the idea to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Sri Ramanuja's teachings by building the Statue of Equality. The statue is constructed on an estimated 34 acres in Hyderabad, India.

It consists of a 216 foot tall statue of Ramanuja and is surrounded by 108 Divyadesams (model temples) and includes an educational gallery. The project budget is 1000 crore rupees.The foundation stone for the Statue of Equality was laid by Chinna Jeeyar.

The statue was built by Aerosun Corporation in China before being shipped to India. It is made of panchaloha, a combination of gold, silver, copper, brass and titanium. The statue relies on donations to fund its construction.

The temple is located on the 27,870 square metre second floor with a 120 kg statue of Ramanuja, representing the years he lived, meant for daily worship. The 1,365 square metre third floor including a Vedic digital library and research center.

In 1970, as the Director of the Institute of Education of the then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife), later Dean Faculty of Education, Prof. Babs Fafunwa & his team embarked on one of the most groundbreaking research projects in education for Yorubaland.

The aim of the project was to test the hypothesis that the best instructional medium for good concept formation at a very tender age is the mother tongue.

This was bolstered by the observation that “of all the continents and peoples of the world, it is only in Africa…

…that formal education is offered in a language that is foreign to the child.”

So, Yoruba was to be used & tested as an exclusive medium of passing information or instructions to a set of pupils.

The project was based on the premise that:

(a). the child will benefit culturally, socially, linguistically & cognitively.

(b). the child’s command of English will be improved if he is taught English as an entirely separate subject by a specialist teacher through the 6 years.

प्राचीन काल में गाधि नामक एक राजा थे।उनकी सत्यवती नाम की एक पुत्री थी।राजा गाधि ने अपनी पुत्री का विवाह महर्षि भृगु के पुत्र से करवा दिया।महर्षि भृगु इस विवाह से बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और उन्होने अपनी पुत्रवधु को आशीर्वाद देकर उसे कोई भी वर मांगने को कहा।

सत्यवती ने महर्षि भृगु से अपने तथा अपनी माता के लिए पुत्र का वरदान मांगा।ये जानकर महर्षि भृगु ने यज्ञ किया और तत्पश्चात सत्यवती और उसकी माता को अलग-अलग प्रकार के दो चरू (यज्ञ के लिए पकाया हुआ अन्न) दिए और कहा कि ऋतु स्नान के बाद तुम्हारी माता पुत्र की इच्छा लेकर पीपल का आलिंगन...

...करें और तुम भी पुत्र की इच्छा लेकर गूलर वृक्ष का आलिंगन करना। आलिंगन करने के बाद चरू का सेवन करना, इससे तुम दोनो को पुत्र प्राप्ति होगी।परंतु मां बेटी के चरू आपस में बदल जाते हैं और ये महर्षि भृगु अपनी दिव्य दृष्टि से देख लेते हैं।

भृगु ऋषि सत्यवती से कहते हैं,"पुत्री तुम्हारा और तुम्हारी माता ने एक दुसरे के चरू खा लिए हैं।इस कारण तुम्हारा पुत्र ब्राह्मण होते हुए भी क्षत्रिय सा आचरण करेगा और तुम्हारी माता का पुत्र क्षत्रिय होकर भी ब्राह्मण सा आचरण करेगा।"
इस पर सत्यवती ने भृगु ऋषि से बड़ी विनती की।

सत्यवती ने कहा,"मुझे आशीर्वाद दें कि मेरा पुत्र ब्राह्मण सा ही आचरण करे।"तब महर्षि ने उसे ये आशीर्वाद दे दिया कि उसका पुत्र ब्राह्मण सा ही आचरण करेगा किन्तु उसका पौत्र क्षत्रियों सा व्यवहार करेगा। सत्यवती का एक पुत्र हुआ जिसका नाम जम्दाग्नि था जो सप्त ऋषियों में से एक हैं।
