I traded Tata Chem with 3x my normal position size today....Why ? Bcos of the setup. This is a setup i like a lot & have been successful 70% of the times - 3ib + NR7. If you get it on weekly it is even more powerful. Basically a price compression & waiting for spring action (1/n)

Secondly, today futures price O=L & wasnt broken in the 1st few mins which was like a confirmation. (A friend pointed out same wasnt true in cash, but it didnt matter then as volumes had started to build up)
Thirdly, price was resting at 21ema for the past few days and not (2/n)

ready to breakdown.
Fourthly, Max Ce Oi was @730 almost 10.93L which made the RR fantastic here.
Lastly, as per Dow theory - Price was making HH and HL's since beginning of May

This thread will briefly explain my stock selection process for trading

1) At EOD, short list stocks which are in bullish formations or bullish patterns on higher box sizes or time frames. On monthly and weekly time frames or 1% 2% and 3% box sizes

2) from this, short list stocks that are probable breakout candidates. Here I look for follow through to bullish patterns like super pattern , 💯 pole, turtle Breakout , rare occurrence , bear traps etc

3) From this list check relative strength against nifty 50 and short list stronger candidates.
Check for price and volume breakouts in candlestick charts on daily timeframes for confirming the momentum

There are many ways to achieve this. I have built a system in TradePoint from @Definedge for short listing the candidates. I run fusion matrix to find stronger candidates. The idea for this got from one of the weekly newsletters of @Definedge .

For finding momentum , developed a system in OHLC charts where I check for price and volume breakout for last 5 days, some EMA checks and RSI levels, supertrend etc

How to trade on Expiry day with Nifty straddle?

Triple straddle is one of the best and accurate methods for expiry day

If nifty trading at 15720 then will sell three straddles above 50 points from ATM, below 50 points and ATM.

Ex.
Sell straddle 15700(ATM), 15650(ATM-50), 15750 (ATM+50)

Stoploss of 80% on every leg and run your trade till 3 PM

Once SL hit in any Leg just keep holding other leg till expiry with SL (Never or less chance to hit both SL on expiry day)

Swami Vivekananda considered Adi Shankaracharya (Adi Shankara) as the greatest teacher of Vedanta philosophy.

Vivekananda was an admirer of Adi Shankara and translated Adi Shankara’s poem Atma Shatakam (also known as Nirvana Shatakam).

Shankara came, and showed that the real essence of Buddhism and that of the Vedanta are not very different, but that the disciples did not understand the Master and have degraded themselves, denied the existence of the soul and of God, and have become atheists.

Vivekananda said "Shankaracharya had caught the rhythm of the Vedas, the national cadence. Indeed I always imagine that he had some vision such as mine when he was young, and recovered the ancient music that way..."

Shankara taught that 3 things were the great gifts of God: Human Body, Thirst after God & a Teacher who can show up the light. When these three great gifts are ours, we may know that our redemption is at hand. Only knowledge can free and save us but with knowledge must go virtue.

NASA found that the sound from the sun resembles the Vedic mantra 'Om'. It is the most sacred mantra of Brahman, the highest Universal Principle, the Ultimate Reality. Om connotes the metaphysical concept of Brahman.

Stamps that depict the Glorious Roots of Hinduism

The depiction of Hindu deities in stamps is not restricted to Asian countries only. Even several European nations have issued stamps of Hindu deities

Let us begin with Laos, In 1974 it issued a set of 3 stamps depicting

Maa Saraswati, Bhagwan Indra and Brahma.

In 2006, Cambodia issued a set of 5 stamps depicting Luv Kush, Bhagwan Ram, Mata Sita, Raavan and Hanumaan Ji. It also issued a miniature sheet featuring Matasya with Hanumaan Ji .

In 1971, Indonesia issued a set of 2 stamps which depicted Prabhu Ram hunting Maricha.

And again In 1994, it issued a set of 3 stamps on Hindu deities which included Shree Ganesha.

In 1973, Thailand issued a set of 8 stamps depicting various scenes from Ramayana which included Ashoka Vatika, Ravana’s Parasol, Vanar Sena crossing the sea

What you need:

2. A place to write and run code
3. A way to deal with data
4. A way to visualize results
5. A cool algorithm
6. An introductory course
7. A project to solve

Here are my recommendations.

Most people recommend Python to start.

I do too.

You can do machine learning with many different languages, but today, Python is the best option.

My advice: Get comfortable writing code before looking into machine learning.

You don't have to be a great developer to start.

But if you are, it helps.

Everything you know about building software is helpful to build machine learning systems.

Good developers have the odds in their favor.

"How much Python do I need to know before starting?"

If you ask, you aren't ready yet.

Ideal scenario: You should be comfortable building software. Most people get here within a year.

Let's move on to the 2nd item from the list: A place to write and run your code.

Get familiar with Google Colab.
