He oversaw Isidorou's addition to the board and signed off on a "Trumpian" press release that reads like Isidorou's work for far-right propaganda site The Post Millennial. He has refused to answer pertinent questions about extremism in his party.
#vanpoli Vancouver's Non-Partisan Association will have a general meeting to elect a new board. Angelo Isidorou has stepped down.
But if the NPA really believes "in an inclusive, compassionate and caring city free from hate, stigma and discrimination," 7 more also have to go:
He oversaw Isidorou's addition to the board and signed off on a "Trumpian" press release that reads like Isidorou's work for far-right propaganda site The Post Millennial. He has refused to answer pertinent questions about extremism in his party.
He's an outspoken Trump & anti-mask supporter who called Dr. Henry "Dumb Bonnie." He challenged a reporter to a fight "if you are a man" & encourages people to join a far-right social media platform. He claims to be in the process of moving to Florida.
He echoed Trump's lies about the US election being rigged, which incited the Jan. 6 takeover of the Capitol by violent right-wing mobs. He has also attempted to defend Isidorou's use of a white supremacist gang sign, as well as Andy Ngo's "journalism."
Former BC bureau chief of far-right Rebel Media, which also employed well-known extremists. His videos defend Trump and white nationalist conspiracy theories. He called Catherine McKenna "Climate Barbie" and encourages "harassing" unhoused people.
President of the BC Conservatives (a fringe party in this province well to the right of the Liberals) while Chris Wilson was a director. He's currently regional director of that party.
Affiliated with homophobic and transphobic groups like Culture Guard. She ran for city council endorsed by Let’s Vote Association, a socially conservative anti-choice organization. Let’s Vote also endorsed anti-SOGI school trustee Barry Neufeld.
When Black communities in the US cried out about rampant police violence, white supremacists responded with the "thin blue line" flag to support the racism of the police. De Genova made it her banner on Facebook.
This is totally unacceptable.

The most sophisticated growth team no one talks about: @WishShopping
1. The #1 shopping app in 40+ countries
2. Rumored to often be the #1 spender on FB and Google
3. 2 million items sold daily
I sat down with @cplimon to learn about the notoriously secretive company. Read on 👇
1/ Your brand constraint is Wish's opportunity
Wish's superpower is leaving no room for taste or opinion. It's what happens when a machine builds a company based on data. The founder didn't plan to sell cheap goods to low-socioeconomic customers, but where the data took him.
"Until you work at a place like Wish, you don't know what data-driven is. Everyone else is data-driven when it's convenient, when it agrees with your opinions. Wish is great at ignoring their own emotions. It's data-driven with as much intellectual honesty as possible."
For example
2/ Differentiate by serving the under-served
Most of Wish’s initial sales came from places like Florida, greater LA county, and middle-America. Specifically, zip codes with 95% Spanish speakers. Later, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe (avg household income $18,000/year)
