 We know the ties between The Millennial Post, we understand you are a special interest group and so are they, we GET that you exist solely to ensure this populist version of the CPC gets elected by any means....and we understand that lying to do so is your M.O.
Populism is a hell of a drug....it must be something to say something or write something that get people's fists in the air with a collective cry of 'YEAH'....but when you lie to get that reaction? it's wrong, when you insult to get that reaction? it's wrong.
But Canada Proud? let's not pretend, we know what you are, we know why you exist, we know what you are doing.....we know and YOU know it isn't right. If this is how you choose to 'make a living' fine, but let's not pretend it's honest or ethical or good for the country.
Let's visit some of your greatest disinformation hits on the past little while. Here's a fun one that suggests we should apply a moral/political lens to vaccine distribution rather than a vaccine distribution based on science, fairness and respect for ALL life.
Here's another suggesting (from another disinformation source) that Canadians aren't getting the rebates promised DESPITE all evidence to the contrary.
Here's another from one of your provincial subsidiaries suggesting the issue is vaccines supply when in reality it's the distribution that is at issue....it is a political tactic to distract pressure away from Ford where it should be so we can get better results.
Here's is another to specifically target the people who are anti-lockdown....a fist-pump to the dissenters. Quebec is not targeting the homeless, it's been expressly and specifically addressed.
Gee why is Lecce in Ontario failing so badly? Well, he's a populist too and this is what he's being commanded to follow....from the populace (you can't claim Lecce doesn't know where his bread is buttered)
Here's a well know bit of disinformation.....the old "Where is Trudeau? did he go on vacation?" They know it wasn't true when they posted it (time to start looking at the media enablers here BTW)
Well, I won't bore you....this is just a handful of stuff from the past couple of weeks. Some may say, this is just an alternative perspective? no, it's not...it's an attempt to revise history and embed alternative facts and therein lies the problem.

Just going to leave you with one final thought....populism isn't just a tool of the political right, it's also a tool of the political left....it's all marked by an imperative to bait your rage, to provide facile answers and simple 'solutions' rather than policy. Be aware.

First, some background. Trump's suit essentially tries to Federalize the Wisconsin Supreme Court complaint his campaign filed, which we discussed here.


If you haven't already, go read that thread. I'm not going to be re-doing the same analysis, and I'm not going to be cross-linking to that discussion as we go. (Sorry, I like you guys, and I see this as public service, but there are limits)

BRAHMA VAIVARTA PURAN: IMPORTANCE AND CHARACTERISTICS.

This Puran introduces us to way of Vedas. On the request of Narad Muni Bhagwan Saavarni had preached this Puran. It is a summary of Dharma, Arth, Moksha etc.


Listening to this Puran one gets automatically attached to Vishnu and Shiva and realize that there is no difference between them. Vyasji divided this book into four parts. It has eighteen thousand shlokas. This whole book is in the form of dialogue between Suutji and Maharishi's.

The first part Brahmkhand, consists of Shrishti description. Here Shri is known as Para Brahma and description of Gokul is also mentioned, It also narrates the argument between Brahma and Narad in which both were defeated, and then Narad went to Shiva to attain more gyan.

Shivji advised him to go to Bhagwan Saavarni for this. Narad goes to Saavarni ashram to seek Knowledge and is totally amazed by the sorroundings.

Next is Prakriti khand which consists of dialogue between Narad and Saavarni where they discuss the

Importance of Shri Krishna through various stories. Then there is the discussion of Prakriti and its various hues. Listening to this gets you wealth.
Next is Ganesh Khand which describes the Punyak vrat done by Parvati ji. After this it narrates the birth of Kartikeya and Ganesh.

Originally named as Lachit Deca, Lachit Borphukan, the fierce and invincible Ahom Commander, was born during the early 17th century at Betioni in the Golaghat district of modern Assam.


His father, Momai Tamuli Borbarua was the ‘Governor’ of the kingdom and also ‘Commander-in-Chief’ of Ahom army under King Pratap Singha during his reign starting from 1603 to 1639. Lachit received military training from an early age and joined the Ahom King Jayadhvaj Singha...


...(1648-1663) as a scarf-bearer.  The post ‘scarf-bearer’ or ‘Soladhara Barua’ is considered as a part of the incumbent king’s personal staff. Owing to his military training Lechit was appointed "Ghora Barua", Supdt. of the Royal horses. When Chakradhwaj Singha became king..

Valakhilyas are 60000 Rishis who are thumb-sized. They were born to Kratu and Kriya. Rig Veda says that they sprang from the hairs of Brahma.
They move in front of Surya dev’s chariot as Sun moves daily and
shine like brilliant lights due to severe tapasya.


Tamil literature says that the main task of Valakhilyas is to prevent human beings from being scorched. They absorb the excess heat from the sun by travelling in front of him. They, in turn, get energy from Skanda and Ma Durga. The food of Valakhilyas is only wind.

Once, Rishi Kashyap performed a yagna and invited all the Devas and Rishis to help him. Indra brought a whole mountain of trees for firewood. The Valakhilyas were hardly able to lift anything but leaves. Even when they were moving leaves, they fell into rain water puddles.


Indra made fun of them. So they cursed Indra saying that his slayer would be born as the son of Kashyapa. When Indra apologized, they modified the curse that the son shall be initially an enemy of Indra, but later will become his friend.


This son born later to Kashyapa was Garuda. He flew to Indraloka to get Amrita and defeated Indra.
Later, he restored amrit vessel to Indra and was honoured as the King of birds and as the mount of Sri Vishnu.

A thread on how absurd the UK is on transgender issues and how the UK got so transphobic

In 2015 Parliament held an inquiry looking into the state of Transgender equality. Trans people of all stripes outlined many different problems across many, many different areas.

As a result Parliament created a list of recommendations including legal recognition for non binary people, gender recognition act reform, allowing 16 year olds to change their legal gender and reform of NHS gender identity services.

The government under Theresa May ignored everything that was recommended except for Gender recognition act reform. This act came into law in 2003 and gave trans men and women (but not non-binary people) the ability to legally change their gender on their birth certificates.

The process at that time to change your birth certificate under the GRA was to make an application to a panel of cisgender people who would decide if you were sufficiently trans based on your payslips, photo ID and bank statements. You would not get the option to speak to them.

(Also this process cost £140 which is just a tax on being trans)
