Whether @realDonaldTrump is inaugurated on Jan 20 or not, he’s fulfilled an incredible purpose. Truly, he is one of the greatest Presidents we’ve ever had. His legacy will last, and the greatest part is that the work that he started has merely just begun.

A THREAD ENTITLED: HE KNEW.

Here’s the thing, Trump & his lawyers aren’t really trying to overturn the results of the election. They know that they don’t have a path to victory. These lawsuits were all supposed to fail, all of the fillings were intentionally sloppy and unsustainable, the “proof” is garbage

Guilani’s entire shtick, along with Powell’s utterly fabricated explanations are only meant to distract. The only people convinced by their so called evidence are Trump cultists who want to be fooled. They’re so ignorant that they have no idea just how ignorant they actually are.

The court cases have all failed because they were meant to fail. Because Trump’s people all know their evidence was fabricated and all the witnesses far from credible. Given the sheer level of incompetence Trump’s legal team has shown so far, their failures are intentional.

So, instead of trying to actually overturn the results of the general election, what are these people up to? The answer is two-fold: One. The attempts, rhetoric and ultimate failures are meant to shed doubt on the overall electoral process and to cast doubt on the legitimacy...

Of a Biden/Harris presidential term. Trump and his lawyers have used racially charged accusations to discredit the legitimacy of Black voters. Given that Trump earned votes in the same process that they’re trying to discredit, it’s systematic racism, hypocrisy and cynicism...

What's the "value" offered by international relations scholarship?

What does it mean to think about world events "like an international relations scholar"?

Trump's order to withdrawal 🇺🇸 troops from 🇸🇴 offers a useful

This event could be viewed from a variety of angles, from the "micro-level" on up.

International Relations scholars/analysts can and do use each of the following angles, though not all are strictly speaking taking an "International Relations angle".

Let's explore the angles.

The "country-expert" angle entails discussing the event by laying out the situation within Somalia, providing details on key figures involved and perhaps how the conflict has disrupted Somalia's internal governance and

The "Military/Security analyst" angle involves outlining the details of what US troops presently do in Somalia and how they carry out their mission (including equipment, mission, and tactics).

The "Area Studies/Regional Expert" angle involves discussing the decision as an event that will impact the Horn of Africa or East Africa more

Imagine for a second this:
1) Trump has Declassified everything, but not released it to the public
2) He or his lawyers or someone has everything
3) They try to impeach Trump but there is no conviction in the Senate

1. Yes, as @danielsgoldman is talking about now on @MSNBC is playing a big part. Rep Senator reluctance to go after Trump is MUCH MORE now than mere political reluctance. And frankly Trump made these threats openly known. Yet, he had his "lists" for primaries. But there is much

2. more going on here, that I'll touch on in the article which will also include the survey results ( there is STILL TIME to get involved w the survey. It is on extremism in the GOP- focused on MTW, GA-14 but also GOP extremism broadly. Ultimately, I waited to field it until

3. after the impeachment trial bc the survey wasn't really meant to test that (trust me, the big org will cover it!) and bc I was afraid it would impact what we are trying to measure. So now its time to get this puppy in the field. UNLESS, y'all care to asses some of this stuff

4. Impeachment may or may not impact attitudes on MTG and tribalism. Lord knows it had so many elements of extremism that times in. In order to add anything I'd gave to raise more money. 10K is not enough- survey research, the kids you see in wapo and nyt and such are like 30K

5. Some quotes I get are even for 50k!!! For 10K, with me doing analysis, we'd get to ask 5 or 6 questions and the most critical demos. (If you are reading this and willing to add your won pro-bono work to mine PLEASE DM me. This isn't some silly horse race poll. The goal is to
