Our society needs to seriously rethink of mental health. Our society needs to be educated
3 years ago, during my JEE prep, when I went into clinical depression, no one could diagnose me of it. I had every symptom of it.
I literally got no help. This is not about me, I'm telling this from a general 3rd person view.
Any help that I got was wearing a ring made of horseshoe of a black horse of a specific breed. All the blame was slapped on 'Shani'
I was being taken to orphanages and slum areas so that I could see that my ailments are nothing in front of theirs.
Loads of toxic positivity

Before you let your ignorance kick in and make you laugh out loud, try seeing life with a new perspective

I lived in a PG hostel. I used to go to institute. Used to meet numerous people everyday. But not a single person could diagnose me of any medical condition. Not their fault, even I didn't what I'd been going through
Oh King Edward III, itâs adorable that you think you can just decree that servants and laborers become permanently content with wages fixed at the rate they were at five years ago. https://t.co/NtOmttquJ3 (I.xi.e.2) #WealthOfTweets #SmithTweets
Heâs already digressing, and he canât take a minute to share the menu from that famously magnificent feast with us? (I.xi.e.4â5) #WealthOfTweets #SmithTweets
Super Important 18thC Vocab Geekery: When Smith says the price of the quarter of wheat wasn't âsupposed to be < 4 oz silverâ he doesnât mean âshouldn't be.â He means âwasn't thought to be.â Heâs not approving of fixed prices. (I.xi.e.7) #WealthOfTweets #SmithTweets
So. Many. Wheat. Prices. (But really, Smith is talking about how much wheat it takes to buy a quantity of silver, NOT how much silver it takes to buy a quantity of wheat.) (I.xi.e.1â14) #WealthOfTweets #SmithTweets
Fitness data from over 85k AUS children aged 9â17 yrs showed that, compared with 9 yr females, 9 yr males were 9.8% faster in sprints, 16.6% faster over 1 mile, could jump 9.5% further, could complete 33% more push-ups in 30 s and had 13.8% stronger grip.
@BARBARABULL11 @boysvswomen @cbrennansports @Martina @devarona64 Here is my full description of that data.
Example:
1.6km timed run (CV endurance)
The *best* 17 yr old girls are matched by *average* 17 yr old boys, and beaten, by some measure, by the best 9 yr old
Here is summary data from Catley and Tomkinson, 2012, who collated performance data from 85347 Australian schoolchildren aged 9-17 years old. pic.twitter.com/qKdxqywpoq

@BARBARABULL11 @boysvswomen @cbrennansports @Martina @devarona64 Male advantage of a similar magnitude was detected in a study of Greek children, where, compared with 6-year-old females, 6-year-old males completed 16.6% more shuttle runs in a given time and could jump 9.7% further from a standing
@BARBARABULL11 @boysvswomen @cbrennansports @Martina @devarona64 In terms of aerobic capacity, 6- to 7-year-old males have been shown to have a higher absolute and relative (to body mass) VO2max than 6- to 7-year-old
@BARBARABULL11 @boysvswomen @cbrennansports @Martina @devarona64 Pre-puberty performance differences are not negligible, and could be mediated, to some extent, by genetic factors and/or activation of the hypothalamicâpituitaryâgonadal axis during the neonatal period, sometimes referred to as âminipubertyâ.
Even when they join insurrection, pummel through the doors that held back the mob from the upper echelons of the govt, white women are still remembered for the best versions of themselves.\xa0Women who joined ISIS were never afforded such audacious innocence https://t.co/lUATVA7oZn

and i know that scholars/academics HAVE looked at the role that white women play within white supremacy. on my to read list:
and women of color academics and organizers have produced the longest most detailed analysis of white women and their complicity.
what i'm talking abt is their explicit radicalization-or willingness to be more explicit abt support of white supremacy in a post911 world. that analysis has almost exclusively centered white men, occasionally men of color, almost never white women.
at least that i've seen. i'd be interested in any resources people may know about.
Conservatives are using the Texas power chaos to argue against climate policy even as fossil-generated power outages dwarf the amount of renewables knocked offline during the historic deep freeze. President Biden and progressives have been slow to respond.https://t.co/UajKhptEAU

It relied on very little wind energy - that was the plan. It relied on a lot of natural gas - that was the plan. It relied on all of its nuclear energy - that was the plan. 2/x
There was enough natural gas, coal and nuclear capacity installed to survive this event - it was NOT "forced out" by the wind energy expansion. It was there. 3/x
Wind, natural gas, coal and nuclear plants all failed to deliver on their expectations for long periods of time. The biggest gap was in natural gas! The generators were there, but they were not able to deliver. 4/x
It may be fair to ask why there is so much wind energy in ERCOT if we do NOT expect it to deliver during weather events like this, but that is an entirely different question - and one with a lot of great answers!! 5/x
