A SHORT EXHORTATION

THE TRUE HELPER

It's a horrible thing to remain defenseless in this wicked world, and that's why we all need Jesus.

There are places your millions will not be able to defend or help you.

Places where the high and mighty you know are not only helpless,

but, unable to defend you.

There are times the best doctors you know are helpless when you are rushed to the hospital.

Places where your security measures even run into hiding and unable to defend you.

The name of Jesus, that name alone is the ultimate defense. The ultimate
name everything and everyone bows down to.

A ready help and helper in time of need.

Others may want to help, but are unavailable or unable.

Others may initially want to help, but, suddenly change their minds in your time of need.

Others may have the capacity to help, but,
choose not to help or offer you help at a cost you are unable to afford.

Jesus is different. He is the real deal.

Always ready
Always available.
Always willing to help.

Psalms 46:1 MSG
God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need him.

2/ First, “X” could be lots of things. Examples: What would need to be true for you to

- “Feel it's in our best interest for me to be CMO"
- “Feel that we’re in a good place as a company”
- “Feel that we’re on the same page”
- “Feel that we both got what we wanted from this deal

3/ Normally, we aren’t that direct. Example from startup/VC land:

Founders leave VC meetings thinking that every VC will invest, but they rarely do.

Worse over, the founders don’t know what they need to do in order to be fundable.

4/ So why should you ask the magic Q?

To get clarity.

You want to know where you stand, and what it takes to get what you want in a way that also gets them what they want.

It also holds them (mentally) accountable once the thing they need becomes true.

5/ Staying in the context of soliciting investors, the question is “what would need to be true for you to want to invest (or partner with us on this journey, etc)?”

Multiple responses to this question are likely to deliver a positive result.
