e.g. If somebody's kidnapping you & trying to hustle you into a car and they say "Don't scream," why are they saying that? It's bc they need silence to get away with the crime.

So you should yell.
It's funny. They'll tell you exactly how to beat them, if you listen.

If you have a moment, read through the thread & screenshots of all the threatening emails.

Notice anything odd? They're not so much threats, as they are orders. Do this! Don't do that!

And orders to "make it right" by groveling on platforms where even more angry white nationalists would discover her.
There's a reason conservative voices have demanded sympathetic, soft-focus coverage of Anxious Whites.

And there's a reason that a lot of those conservative voices ain't even from rural areas. Look at the hostile emails. Lots from Silicon Valley.
Why? Because the urban-rural divide is fake.

Urban & rural elites want the same thing: drive wages to desperation levels, no worker or environmental protections, & huge tax loopholes for people who make their living by owning stuff instead of working.

Lots of rural areas live under one-party control. Local elites run them like fiefdoms.

Conservative urban elites see that! They want what their rural peers have!

But they can't say that out loud. So the play is, hold up rural areas as a moral example to be emulated.
But IRL, white-run rural areas ain't different from Wall Street or Silicon Valley at all.

They're the same extractive capitalism as the concrete jungles. Again, the only difference is the local elites in rural areas have more control thnx to deliberately hollowed-out economies.
So the only way self-proclaimed Real America champions can strut around cosplaying National Moral Anchor is if nobody knows how their fiefdoms work in real life.

That means one of the biggest dangers to their scam is when people who grew up there get out, stop being ashamed about not fitting in, & tell the truth about how it is.

Like Melinda did.
And as soon as she did, people came out of the woodwork ordering her to stop.

At that time, I had just finished a long year of doing basic health & safety checks on farms. We had some genuinely cool clients. But I also knew exactly what she was talking about.
So when she said some pretty basic Rural Economics 101 stuff out loud back in 2017 & got a huge disproportional response, it sounded an awful lot to me like someone saying "shhhh stop yelling" as they tried to stuff somebody in a van lol
We're in for a bumpy ride the next several years.

The "Real America" hustlers are gonna be issuing a lot of demands about how we should & should not behave.

And you know what? Those demands are a perfect recipe for disrupting their game.
Eg: if they ask for a light hand with prosecution for their crimes, it's not because it's going to "help America heal"! They DGAF about that!

It's because they need legal impunity to continue their hustle.

Take it away, and it falls apart.

That's what they're worried about.
Disrupting white nationalists is hard, but it ain't complicated.

Listen carefully to their demands.

Then do the opposite.

Don't take their shit! They ain't the boss of you. Speak the hard truths, and demand the inconvenient prosecutions.
All these blowhards threatened to destroy her business & it never happened. Matter of fact her business grown a LOT in the last four years.

this has pretty much collapsed in the last decade

Structure = sclerosis
Functional specialization = bureaucracy
competencies = inertial habits

"Stack" thinking instead lets technology structure (rather than market structure) drive business org logic

Companies seem to do well when they identify an entire stack of technologies they are good at (not just point bits) and organize to conform to its logic. There is a "full-stack" dimension of technical specialization that is the spine of the org

It feels buzzwordy, but it really is getting to be that way. AI stack, decarbonization stack, mobility stack, electrification stack... some end-to-end pathway of turning physics into economics via layers of tech artistically baked together like a cake

There's a particular kind of romantic partnership, with a certain sort of person, that I've wanted since I became a self-aware, directed agent at around age 15.

Empirically, this kind of relationship has been hard to achieve. It hasn't worked out yet, at least.

And this sometimes leaves me wondering if my standards are unreasonable.

In years past that desire was often very alive.

These days, I'm rarely directly or viscerally in contact with it.

I sometimes contemplate aiming for some other kind of romantic and/or sexual relationship instead. In part because I might be more effective if I...I don't know, got laid more? But that's not really the thing. More like, if I had someone around whom I could regularly relax.

But mostly, I don't pursue those alternative relationship-setups out of a sense of something like loyalty to myself + a vague sense of wrongness and/or sadness about it. It often feels like giving up or giving in.

1) Dreaded thread on why I think the response to postcritique is so vitriolic. Short version: Because literary studies is a discipline in search of an application.

2) Before I go on, I'll say from the outset that many in lit studies explicitly reject the idea that the field *should* have an application. My opinion is that's fine if you want to do book clubs, but if you want an institution you can't ignore that difficult issue. But anyway...

3) The evidence by this point is overwhelming that when lit scholars talk about 'method' we're actually just talking about ourselves: 'ways of reading,' 'how we argue,' 'phenomenology of reading,' etc. etc.

5) But none of this is method discussion. Talking about ourselves, how we approach our objects of study, our motives and objectives, our commitments, etc. would be the *beginning* of a method convo in every other discipline. In lit studies it's the *end*, or the whole convo!

So there's a class of puzzles called "river crossing puzzles" which involve having to cross a river on a boat/bridge containing some set of individuals/items with restrictions on which ones can be on the boat/left on each shore, right?

and the most common subclass of these problems is the one where you have 3 items/animals to cross with.
This is alternatively called the "fox, goose, and bag of beans" or "wolf, goat, and cabbage" puzzle.

the idea is that your boat can only carry one item at a time, but if you leave the wolf/fox unattended with the goat/goose, the wolf/fox will eat the goat/goose.
and similarly, the goose/goat will eat the beans/cabbage if left alone

so you have to set up a set of actions that never leaves either side of the river in one of the lose-states.

the solution to this variant being:
1. take the goat/goose over
2. return empty
3. take the wolf/fox over
4. return with the goat/goose
5. take the cabbage/beans over
6. return empty

5/ Ad impressions and click-throughs are bid up to outrageous prices by startups flush with venture money, and prospective users demand more and more subsidized products to gain their initial attention.

7 forms of Aadi Parashakthi are Sapthamathrukkal. Veerabhadra and Ganesha have Sannidhi here.


The main Garbhagriham in the temple is the Sapthamathrukkal. There are Sannidhi to Nagas, Nagayakshi and Vishnu too. Sarparadhana or snake worship is done here. Naga Panchami is famous here. Those who have Naga Dosham come here and get relieved of their Doshas.

Wracając do sedna dzisiejszego zamieszania z artykułem autosportu / motorsportu. Kubica mówi w nim, że podejmie swoją decyzję w ciągu kilku dni. Rozważa opcję z Williamsem lub posadę kierowcy symulatora w Ferrari. Więc za kilka dni dowiemy się co go czeka za rok. #F1PL

Autosport / motorsport zmienił nagłówek swoje tekstu, bo pierwotnie sugerował on że Kubica jest numerem jeden na liście Williamsa na tytuł mówiący tylko tym, że nadal jest na liście kandydatów. Zrobili to po interwencji zespołu. Same wypowiedzi Kubicy z wywiadu się nie zmieniły.

Trudno powiedzieć czy autor się pośpieszył i wyciągnął inne wnioski niż powinien, a może wie coś więcej, ale nie mógł tego otwarcie napisać. Słowa Kubicy brzmią jednak jednoznacznie: decyzję podejmie w ciągu kilku dni.
