Item agenda 1 a CALL TO ORDER BY CLEARK OF COUNCIL has been accomplished.

Item agenda 3 ELECTION OF COUNCIL OFFICERS is being discussed.
Rule 2c

Only ten (10) members are voting today due to the resignation of Dan District 3, Brady, who was the Previous President.
District 9 Representative Shontel Brown endorses and nominates District 8 Pernel Jones for President of Cuyahoga County Council.
District 11 Rep Sunny Simon seconds District 9 Rep Shontel Brown's endorsement.
There are no additional nominees for President of Cuyahoga County Council.
A roll call is occurring to vote for Pernel Jones Jr. as President of Cuyahoga County Council. All representatives of the Cuyahoga County Council have voted for and supported Pernel Jones Jr.
District 8 Pernel Jones Jr. is now the President of the Cuyahoga County Council. He has moved to ask for nominations of a new Vice-President.
District 11's Sunny M. Simon nominates District 10's Cheryl L. Stephens for Vice-President. Per Rep Simon, Rep Stephens respects all residents of the County and has an amazing ability to lead.
A roll call vote for Vice-President is happening.
All ten voting Representatives of Cuyahoga County Council have supported and elected District 10 Representative Cheryl Stephens as Cuyahoga County Council Vice-President.
Cuya Council President Jones Jr. thanks the fellow County Council Representatives for electing him president and that he looks forward to working with them all in the coming year.
Item Agenda 5 CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL FOR FIRST READING ADOPTION UNDER SUSPENSION OF RULES is being discussed. Rules have been temporary suspended.
Council moves to adopt the following new rule,

R2021-0001: A Resolution establishing the 2021 and 2022 schedules of
County Council meetings, and declaring the necessity that this Resolution
become immediately effective.
Newly elected Cuyahoga County Council Vice-President Stephens thanks her fellow Council Representatives for electing her Vice-President. She implores that they all continue to work together.
