The #Corona crisis began with a panopticon of absurd events, improbable coincidences and outright lies.

 1/ At the end of December 2019, Wenliang, an eye doctor from Wuhan, noticed an allegedly unusual incidence of pneumonia. It remains a mystery what is unusual about 44 patients in a city with over 8 million citizens during winter.

2/ On Jan. 5, WHO informs for the first time about a pneumonia of unknown cause, which it can clarify by 7 January. The virus is believed to be a close relative of SARS. A fish market allegedly is the origin. The #Zoonosis legend, unproven until today, is born.
3/ On Jan. 10, the first gene sequence of the virus today called #SARS-CoV2 appears at https://t.co/tqxKgyykBr, and on Jan. 12, 4 more sequences are published by @edwardcholmes in the GISAID (Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data) database.

7/ Unprecedented: Within a maximum of three days (January 10 - 13), Mr. Drosten, together with the owner of TIB Molbiol (a Berlin based manufacturer for #PCR tests), develops the perfect test for a supposedly entirely new virus the world hasn't seen yet! Wow.
8/ Impossible: As early as January 10, 3 days before, Landt's company, TIB-Molbiol, had a fully functional test kit ready and began shipping it all over the world. A hell of a guy, that Mr. Landt!

9/ On Jan. 24, Chinese scientists, including a certain George Gao (director of CCDC), published an article at the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) describing the clinical symptoms of pneumonia caused by corona.

10/ Preposterous nonsense. After all, there is no clinically specific manifestation of Covid19 disease that is in any way distinguishable from influenza. But it will be the basis for countless horror stories spread by the media.

14/ On January 27, the first Corona case is confirmed at Webasto (an automotive supplier) near Munich. This is the origin of all measures to come, because later the legend of asymptomatic transmission will be based on this case.

15/ A mere 3 days later, Drosten, together with physicians from a clinic in Munich, published a brief report to the prestigious NEJM, which can be considered the scientific foundation of this legend.

• the production of suitable test kits at almost magical speed and
• the postulation of exceptional virological and clinical attributes.
18/ R. E. Hope-Simpson, a British physician, studied influenza for almost 50 years. His work culminated in the book "The Transmission of Influenza" published in 1992, without being able to present conclusive findings.
What he couldn't do in 50 years, was now possible in 30 days?
19/ What happened in the following months can only be regarded as the complete abandonment of honest science, responsible politics and critical journalism. The total collapse of our civilizational foundation.
20/ On Feb. 7, the 34-year-old eye doctor Wenliang allegedly dies from the consequences of #Covid19 himself. A disease, which in Germany, after one year and over 2 million test positives, has claimed 136 people among the under 40 year old.

23/ On March 16, the British physicist Neil Ferguson published a work of epochal proportions. The prognosis: millions of dead. A key work of such shrill propaganda that it makes any political party convention look like a reputable event.

I have studied the pandemic response of many countries. One of them got a key element right, which resulted in very few deaths: Japan. Their response was to keep people OUT of hospitals. A policy of early home treatment works best, hospitals only for severe cases & NO INTUBATIONS

Saving the NHS simply means providing early treatment kits in pharmacies & avoiding hospitals for Covid19 patients. For Covid19 infections during a pandemic, hospitals are the problem, not the solution.

I have read accounts of people with high fever literally turned away from hospitals, yet being told by phone what treatment protocol to follow. That was the best pandemic response by far, NOT lockdowns.

1/ An excellent new paper from Denmark that tracks every vaccination given to nursing home residents there shows an 40% RISE in infections immediately after the first @pfizer dose and no efficacy at any point. Protection in this population after “full” vaccination is 64%...


2/ The researchers also tracked health-care workers, the other group in Denmark to receive the vaccine first. They actually had an even LARGER rise in infections immediately following dose 1, but overall higher protection at “full” vaccination (a week after dose 2) - 90%...

3/ This paper is the best yet (because it’s the least political). It is also in line with the Israeli and English data show once you wade through their spin. The takeaways are: The vaccine is much less effective in the people who need it most and DON’T DELAY THE SECOND SHOT...

4/ By the way, i#depending on how long the vaccine provides protection, its OVERALL effectiveness will be below whatever the peak figure is, maybe well below - you need a lot of good weeks to make up for that bolus at the beginning - but I don’t even want to go there.

5/ This paper also shows why the raw Israeli numbers are trash - if infections are declining overall (as they were in Israel and Denmark in February) looking at infections in the vaccinated population without adjusting for that trend markedly overestimates the vaccine effect.

3/n Let us start with the arguably fake Prof. Drosten who heads the Charité Institute in Berlin. Drosten led work to develop a first PCR test protocol for SARS-CoV-2 published by @Eurosurveillanc in record time and promoted by WHO as a ‘gold standard’.


4/n Had Drosten done his work honestly and produced a test capable of detecting the SARS-CoV-2 entity, all might be well today, but he did not. His manifest scientific failings and problems with conflicts of interest are fully documented in here:

5/n Of course Drosten could not have carried off this piece of MolBiol sleight of hand all on his own. He needed accomplices & global support. A key European ‘witch’ was Dutch based @MarionKoopmans , a co-author of the Corman-Drosten scientific paper.

But we internalize and transfer our oppression daily. It’s a smog. We all breathe it in & act it out.

Can I live?

And don’t go reading anything personal into this-this isn’t about me necessarily and it’s no subtweet (I try hard not to do that.)

I’ve just been observing that behavior more and more lately. Especially when it comes to marginalized folks.

Evolution should be our aspiration.

“Can’t knock the hustle” should be our anthem.

As long as someone isn’t bringing active and continual harm, why can’t they explore their many sides?

The legacy site's CSS is what happens when hundreds of people directly write CSS over many years. Specificity wars, redundancy, a house of cards that can't be fixed. The result is extremely inefficient and error-prone styling that punishes users and developers.

The PWA's CSS is generated on-demand by a JS framework that manages styles and outputs "atomic CSS". The framework can enforce strict constraints and perform optimisations, which is why the CSS is so much smaller and safer. Style conflicts and unbounded CSS growth are avoided.
