0. Impact of Biden as the President of the US on India and how the game is being played to weaken Modi ji. The crux of my long discussion with a Doctoral student of American studies: The thread

 1.Trump was ousted by the CIA through the rigged elections because he was bringing in too much of world peace. He waged ZERO wars, improved the relationship between Islamic countries and Israel. He offered a truce to North Korea. But American system didn't like it
2a. As the American system runs on the basis of War Industry which Eisenhower categorically mentioned the existence of a “military-industrial complex” that dominates the decision making in Washington, irrespective of whoever becomes the President, in his farewell speech

3. Hence Trump was ousted. Since even after leaving the office as a former President he is too powerful a person because of the knowledge and information he has now, they will ensure that he is harassed to the point that he either goes mad or dies under mysterious circumstances
4. Under Biden, the old regime is back. During Trump's time the individual had become more powerful than the institution but with Biden in power the hegemony of the institutions over the individual is back.
5. Now you can expect the worsening of situation in our region. Pakistan already tested shaheen missle. This was purposely done on 20th Jan to seek Biden's attention. The news of China made villages in Arunachal also coincides with that day.
6. Modi ji openly endorsing Trump during his visit will now have its own repercussions as Biden being an utterly shrewd politician with his own grudges against India.
7. Under these situations, the Government is facing challenges on the internal security front in form of farmer's protest which aims to disrupt the RD parade and thereby undermine Sovereignty of the state. Guess that's why the proposal to hold the law was given.
8. The Dark forces are aligning against India to unleash civil unrest in form of communal riots simultaneously in major cities across the country to prove @narendramodi ji as the weakest PM India has ever head. Their aim is "LAAL KILE PAR LAAL NISHAN".
9. It all started with Shaheen Bagh proven further during farmer protest about how to mobilize thousands of people on one call over WhatsApp and other social media platforms to create chaos & show the govt in bad light. This time it was peaceful but it wont be like that next time
10. One can't imagine the stress @narendramodi ji must be under after all this. Tt shows by India condemning the violence in Washington DC at the Capitol Hill has signaled that it is willing to lower its position in negotiations. We are just buying the bloody time.
11. How Modi ji will be proven as the weakest PM. Well, supporters like me and you will be responsible who criticize fiercely him at the drop of the hat. This is the first step to him prove him as a weak leader. I am certainly a guilty party here.
12. This is the time he needs our unconditional support because we dont know and can't understand the pressure on him. It's not easy to rule such a big country. I struggle to manage my own business but I am free to lecture him on how to run the country.
13. Do you think people like James Roy cheering for Biden without any reason. Connects the dot and you will arrive at a very scary conclusion
14. This is just a request. Criticize him but it should be constructive criticism. Because if we lose him, even God won't be able to help us and will be able to prevent the downfall of our wonderful country.

Sitting down to work for the first day of the Biden presidency is a surreal feeling.

Last night we started getting more changes. One of the first was an order telling CBP to stop putting people into the so-called "Migrant Protection Protocols," a cruel program that's left thousands in a dangerous limbo. But there's still more to do!


After that, we began getting the text of immigration executive orders. The first one put onto the White House's website was the order ending the Muslim Ban/Africa Ban and ordering the State Department to come up with a plan for reconsidering


The next immigration executive order put on the White House's website revoked a Trump executive order from January 26, 2017 which made all undocumented immigrants a priority for deportation and directed a DHS-wide review of immigration

Observing the public conversation around FB, and the private ones happening among techies and ex-FBers, I think the mutual misunderstanding is worse than when I set out two years (and 500 pages) ago to (in a small way) bridge that gulf.

We're basically fucked.

The tech world has gotten so huge, self-reinforcing, and insulated from reality they can no longer even vaguely look at themselves (and their actions) as others do. They just live on a different planet than most people.

Conversely, the average tech consumer doesn't understand the technology that has slowly taken over their lives, and their designated emissaries to figure it out--politicians, pundits, regulators, journalists--understand it barely better than they do, and have their own agendas.

To say more than generalities for a moment, here's what I think is likely the core problem.

Techies take weird, improbable visions, and make them realities: some BS pitch deck to a VC, mixed with money and people, really does turn into some novel thing.

Most people work inside a legacy industry that's evolved that way over time (usually for good reasons), and they think about the future via some analogy with their present (which is a function of a long-ago past). The interruption that tech will introduce is often hard to grasp.

Four hours south of Aswan in Lower Nubia, right by the Nile, is a region dotted with temple complexes built more than 3,000 years ago. Some like the temples of Amada, Derr, and Beit el-Wali go as far back as 1500 BC.

A little further south, not far from the border with Sudan, is another complex dedicated to Ramses II, Hathor, and Nefertari in the village of Ipsambul, better known locally as Abu Sunbul and internationally as Abu Simbel. These go back to the 13th century BC.

Djeser-Djeseru, also known as the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut in Upper Egypt also dates to 1400 BC. Over 500 years older is the nearby Mentuhotep II, also a mortuary temple. Both were dedicated to the cult of Amun Ra, besides their respective pharaohs.

Far older is the Ġgantija complex of Malta. Going as far back as 3600 BC, this one comprises of two temples entirely made of stone and enclosed in a stone wall. From the figures therein, it's understood to be a site of some kind of a fertility cult worship.

Dating from the same period are the limestone megaliths of Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra, both said to have once hosted ritualistic sacrifices as part of the same fertility cult worship as found in the Ġgantija complex. Malta has some of the oldest temple complexes in Europe.
