They didn't give me anything free

They make me pay their full costs plus middlemen margins

They are stupid enough NOT to get out of middlemen clutches

They believe/d they were my Annadatas

OTOH

I pay my taxes honestly

I pay my GST for goods I buy

I used to pay inflated and higher-than-GST taxes for all things pre-GST

I don't have room to make black money

Hell

I don't even have a way to do cash transactions

I don't get free water

I don't get free electricity

I don't get free protestors

I don't get free fertilizers

I don't get loan waivers

I don't get loan write-offs

I don't get their-kind-of subsidies

I don't owe farmers anything

I go on to say that they owe me everything

I die as a consumer, they die rotting amidst their produce

I don't have any sympathy for farmers, in addition to what I have for any sincere honest worker in the economy, in fact, much lesser

I don't like farmer-politics

I can't help it if farmers were stupid

I can't help it if farmers won't understand basic market economics

I can't help farmers if they believe they deserve my sympathy, empathy and money

I need relief from these entitled rent seeking parasites

This thread (daily with one verse update) is a Yagna of sorts. This will be on the famous Skanda (Kanda) Shashti Kavacham.

Kavacham (Kavach) is a shield - and the recitation of this hymn, daily, is sure to keep the chanter blessed, protected & provided for!

It contains 244 verses, of which the first 4 declare the hymn's benefits & the next 2 are an invocation of protection (kaappu).

Written by Balan Devarayan, a saint about whom much isn't written in Tamil history. But this one hymn carries his name forever, much like Morya!

In Tamil Kol means planets,Aru means cut- set of songs in Kolaru Pathigam addresses all Navagrahas& last 2 lines of every song with end a plea to Bhagwan Shiva to reduce/erase the ill effects of Navagrahas

கோளறு பதிகம் - This pathigam was sung by Thirugnana Sambandar at Thirumaraikadu Kshetram -Vedaranyam,Tamilnadu

Thirugnana Sambandar & Appar(Thirunavukkarasar) travelled together to various Shiva Alayam to spread shivam & bhakti among people.They both reached Thirumaraikadu.

Thirumaraikadu(Vedaranyam) -
Appar & Sambandar were asked to enter the temple through side entrance.The main door was locked by Vedas many years ago.Appar&Sambandar sang devotional hymns praising Shiva, after which the gates opened & closed.After which main door opened for all.

After darshan of Bhagwan Shiva at Thirumaraikkadu,Sambandar received a message to travel to Madurai.
During that time, Samanam was on the rise in the Pandya Kingdom.The Pandya King converted to Samanam.The Queen Mangaiyarkkarasi was a staunch Shiva devotee and was upset.

Kularchirai Nayanar ,Chief Minister of Pandya kingdom was in agony by the turn of events.Queen requested Kulachirai Nayanar to escort Thiru gnana Sambandar to Madurai.Kularchirai Nayanar met Thiru gnana Sambandar at Thirumaraikkadu & requested him to visit Madurai.

IT WAS RISHI KANADA WHO GAVE THE ATOMIC THEORY & TALKED ABOUT THE GRAVITY OF EARTH, 2600 YEARS BEFORE AN APPLE FELL IN FRONT OF NEWTON'S EYES:

Scientists of the modern world credit an English scientist John Dalton (1766 CE -1844 CE) for the Atomic Theory.

And this is because, most of us are not even aware of an ancient Indian Sage named Kanada, who was the first to formulate the theory of atoms, almost 2600 yrs before Dalton and talk about earth's gravity.

Rishi Kanada was born around 600 BCE in Dwarka, Gujarat and he was the son of a philosopher named Ulka. He was fascinated with the minute detailing of the things right from his childhood. Once, when he was very young, he accompanied his father on a journey to Prayaga.

He saw plentiful grains scattered along the path leading to the shore of river Ganga. It's a tradition in Hindu families to scatter the grains for the ants and birds to feed on them. Suddenly, an ant caught his attention, who was feeding on a rice grain.

He was mesmerised by this very fact that how a small grain of rice becomes food for the ant but to satisfy the hunger of a person so many grains are needed together. This incidence made him realize the importance of a single grain of rice.

We’ve all grown up listening to stories of Shri Krishna. This one is a famous story of Shri Krishna in Guruvayur Temple, also called Dakshina Dwaraka.

There lived a villager who planted coconut saplings and had promised that he would offer the 'first coconut' from each of his coconut trees to "Guruvayurappan". When the trees started to yield coconuts, he collected the first coconut from all the trees in a sack 👇

and set forth to Guruvayur.

On the way he was stopped by a robber who asked all the items in the sack. The villager told the robber that the coconuts in the sack belonged to Guruvayurappan and so he was unable to hand it over.

The robber with anger asked the villager "Is Guruvaurappan's coconut any different? Does it have horns ?".
Saying so the robber pulled the sack forcefully out of the villager's hand, and coconuts came out..👇

To their astonishment each and every coconut in the sack had horns! Even today, the coconut with horns are displayed in the temple for devotees to see.
