{Why did Shri Krishna have 16thousand wives?}

After performing Tapasya at an exquisite place called Badrikashram on Mount Himachal,The divine glory of Bhagwan Shrihari's अंशावतार Nara- Narayana(considered to be superior among munivar's) was spreading all over the world.

 After seeing this, jealousy arose in Indra Deva's Mind.

He started thinking that Nar Narayana may take his Raja Singhasana away from him , after completing Tapasya, and I have to stop them from doing so.

After which, with the intention of stopping the penance of Nara-Narayana
Devraj Indra went to Gandhamadhan parvat,

And he saw that the body of Nar-Narayana due to the grace of tapasya looks like a brightened sun.

Indra create many disturbance during the tapasya like heat, maya, Luring them with many kinds of boons, etc.
but there was no movement in Nara Narayana, He failed because Nara Narayana was engaged in the worship of Goddess Bhagwati at that time and Goddess Bhagwati who herself is the goddess of great Maya, no matter how much maya anyone's know, they cannot succeed in breaking the ..
tapasya of her worshipper .

After returning from there, Indra Called Kāmadev & वसंत ऋतु (spring season) he ordered them to subdue Nar - Narayana & dissolve their austerity, and the Apsaras will also help them in this task, in return for which, he will give them a great boon.
After which, firstly spring reached the mountain and covered the nature with his beauty. Kamaweg was crossing its border line amongst the creatures, then along with Rati and all five of his arrows(कामबाण), Kamadev encamped in the ashram, Apsara's reached the ashram as well,
Nara Narayana got disturbed with the melodious voice and rhythm of the Apsaras.

Seeing untimely arrival of spring and the surrounding environment, Narayan said that it is definitely a conspiracy hatched by Indra to disturb our austerities,
then he saw Kamdev &Rati along with Apasara's like Rambha, Tilottama, Pushpagansha,etc..

The Apsaras were visible to the Nara Narayan, had a total number of 16 thousand and fifty and they all are singing with the intention to create disturbance in the Tapasya of Nara Narayana.
after seeing & paying obeisance to them Nara Narayana both were ready to offer their hospitality towards all of them who were sent by Indra.

At that time,
Munivar Narayan thought that,
What is the fault of these Apsara's, following the orders of Indra ?
Afterall its their duty to follow the orders of their master.

And Munishrestha, to put the apsaras in wonder and to show his power of Tapasya

slapped his hand on his thigh and created apsaras(in same numbers) they were more beautiful than the previous ones.
Seeing Munishreshtha's power of penance , apasara's confessed their mistake and asked for forgiveness, and at that time, the blissful Nara & Narayan, who had conquered Kama and Lobh, asked them to ask for a boon while granting forgiveness and Narayana said to take the apsaras
(created by him) along with them to Indraloka.

But the Apsaras said, O Devesh, if you are really happy with us, then please be our husband, this is our only desire, we will be happy to serve you and the Apsaras created by you ,will go to Indraloka .
Nara Narayana both tried to make them understand in many ways but apasara's didn't agree on any.when apasara's refused to listen even the explanation of Nara Narayana.

Munishreshtha Narayan thought, if I had not created the Apsaras ( with the feeling of superiority) ,
such a situation would not have arisen, it is the result of my own actions.

Narayana thought it's only fare to abandon these apasara's but anger doesn't suit him and he is drowned in anxiety,
seeing that the Nara said, Narayan should abandon anger, maintaining peace in the mind is the root cause of tenacity. Narayan's mind became calm afer listening to the Nara.

Then he assured the apasara's and said -
We have taken a pledge not to get married in this birth, so all of you please go back to the Indralok and protect our Pratigyā. When, in the twenty-seventh dvapar yuga, I will appear as Krishna, at the same time all of you will become my wife .
Hearing the talk of Narayana, the Apsara's relaxed and walked towards Indraloka with the Apsaras created by Munishrestha and the Nara Narayana again fell into austerity.

And thus there were 16 thousand queens of Shri Krishna.

|| KAMAL MOULANA MASJID IN DHAR |

Firstly, Dhar is a Sanskrit Word. This city was the capital of a prosperous empire in ancient times. Hence it had many temples and Rajprasāda. Most of them now stand as mosques.


There ब्रह्माकृति will make everyone believe that they originated in the form of temples. More than this, the written proof of this, is also available. Sanskrit Language is engraved on stones covered in dust and buried in walls.

An obvious example is that of the monument which is known as Kamal Maula Mosque. A few years ago, when some portion of that building was uprooted and fell down,

then there were stone panels on it, which were filled with pages of Sanskrit plays. It has now been established that the monument named 'Saraswati Kantabharan' was in the form of a unique library of Sanskrit literature.

This library was unique in the sense that the literature that was stored in it was engraved on stone sheets, not on mortal papers. This example should be sufficient to inspire students of history,

Mahadev is called 'Panchanaan' and 'Panchavaktra' because of his five faces.
Five faces in the four directions and the fifth in the middle( Sadyojat, Vamdeva, Tatpurush, Aghor and Ishaan) and each has three eyes.

The west-facing face of Mahadev is Sadyojata. This face of Shiv ji symbolizes clean, pure and free as a child.

The north facing direction is Vamdev. Vamadeva means the destroyer of vices.

- The south face is Aghor. Aghor means one who does blasphemous deeds.

The one who performs the condemned karma but by the grace of Mahadeva makes it pure.

East face of Mahadev is known as Tatpurush.That means to be reside in one's Atman.

The name of the upper face is Ishaan. Ishaan means स्वामी।

Out of the five faces of Shiv Shankar, the upper face is of milk-like color, the east face is of Tatpurush yellow color, the south face is of Aghor blue color, the west face is of Sadyojat white color and the north face is of Vamdev Krishna color.

3) Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta Parva
4)BhismaVadh Parva

Description of all the chapters are given in Padma Purana briefly and Gītāsaar in Agnipurana.


This book is the compilation of all the Shashtras.

इमं विवस्वते योगं प्रोक्तवानहमव्ययम् |
विवस्वान्मनवे प्राह मनुरिक्ष्वाकवेऽब्रवीत् |

According to this shloka Sri Hari gave the divine Gyaan of Gita to Surya Dev before giving it to Arjuna.

RANI GAIDINLIU:THE LESSER KNOWN FREEDOM FIGHTER

Rani Gaidinliu joined the freedom struggle at 13 &was sentenced to life imprisonment at 16."We r free people—the White should not rule over us.”Thus calling out to her Zeliangrong tribesmen was the voice of 13yr-old Rani Gaidinliu.


She joined the freedom struggle in the present-day Northeast India. Today, her struggle is lost in history as most of her countrymen wouldn’t even have heard her name. B'coz our history textbooks tell us that only Mahatma Gandhi &Pandit Nehru got India its Independence.


At 16 yrs of age, this valiant girl was sentenced to life imprisonment for leading a movement to drive out the colonial rulers from Manipur and Nagaland. Nevertheless, she was released in 1947 after India’s independence and was given the title ,"Rani of Nagas".


EARLY LIFE AND HERAKA MOVEMENT

Gaidinliu belonged to the Rongmei clan of the Zeliangrong tribe in the Tamenglong district of western Manipur. Born on January 26, 1915, she was fifth among eight children.


Her native village was Nungkao, which is present day Tamenglong distt. Brought up in a specially backward region,she couldn't receive any formal education. However,this didn't stop her from joining the freedom struggle. At the age of 10 she came under the influence of her cousin.

#TodayInHistory Ram Prasad Bismil,Ashfaqullah Khan and Roshan Singh are hanged in 1927, as they give up their life for the cause of freedom and inspire many a revolutionary. #LestWeForget


Shahjahanpur was a hub of revolution during the freedom struggle. Most of the revolutioaries in the North, were from this town. And among them, the most famous were two friends, whom destiny would bring together- Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan.

Ashfaqullah Khan was born at the turn of the 20th century on October 22, while Bismil was born 3 years earlier on June 11, in the same town. Both of them were excellent writers in Urdu and Hindi.

Both of them would come together under the Hindustan Republican Association, not to mention the fact that Ashfaq was an admirer of Bismil’s poetry, and became close friends with him on that account.

And both these men were hanged on the same date, December 19, 1927 for their involvement in the Kakori event. Two men from different religions, different backgrounds, yet destiny would bring them together.

Neyyattinkara Krishna Kshetram

Neyyattinkara Krishna Kshetram is considered as the Guruvayur of Trivandrum. Thrikkayyil Venna (butter) is main offering to Neyyattinkara Unnikannan. Kshetram is supposed to be built by Marthanda Varma.


Sthala Puranam says that, Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma was surrounded by his enemies, Ettuveettil Pillamar, while he was near the place where Temple is situated now. The king prayed to Padmanabhaswamy to protect him.  At that time, a small boy was seen there and he


advised the king to hide himself inside the hollow trunk of a jack fruit tree. The king was surprised to find a small boy in the forest, but agreed to the advice
Thus he was saved from the attack. When the enemies left, king tried to know about the boy, but he couldn't.


He believed that it was krishna himself who saved his life. A temple was built here, which is the present Neyyattinkara Krishna Kshetram. The jack fruit tree where  the king hid himself is now known as Ammachi Plavu. Ashtami Rohini, Vishu are very famous here

Satyabhama, royal princess was very proud of herself. Rukmini was very humble, her devotion was pure to Shri Krishna.


One day, Rishi Narada( Kalahapriya) arrived in Dwaraka and met Sathyabhama. In between the conversation he hinted that Krishna exhibits affection more to Rukmini than her. Worried Sathyabhama asked what can should be done to gain Krishna's undivided attention.

Narada asked Satyabhama to make a vow, that she will hand over Krishna to him as a slave, if she cannot trade wealth equivalent to Krishna's weight. Narada thus convinces Sathyabhama that Krishna will admire her for sacrificing all her wealth for him.


Sathyabhama was sure that she have enough wealth to balance Krishna.

She went to Krishna and told about her vow to Narada. Krishna patiently listened to her and accepted the challenge. Satyabhama arranged to bring large scales to weigh and brought all her precious jewels.


Krishna patiently sat on one plate of the Scales (tula). Sathyabhama started piling up the gold, jewels on the other plate. She kept adding more and more wealth, but the pan with Krishna did not even budge. Even after keeping all her jewels the scale did not move a little

A thing which I unironically and enthusiastically believe which is unpopular among smart people of my acquaintance: financial engineering has in the recent past and present contributed substantially to human welfare. We should hope to see more of it.

Maybe more geeks need to meet someone who says “My job is teleporting value across time and space.”

Financial engineering is sort of a squishy term. I don’t primarily mean payments infrastructure or financial rails, although both of those involve substantial engineering.

I mean more “We took a thing and performed some alchemy, and now have a new thing.”

Except instead of alchemy it is generally quite a bit of math, a huge amount of contract law and due diligence, often an impressive amount of ops work, and a dusting of technology that web devs would recognize as such.
