1. Upbringing. Parents setting (or not) example, imparting Dharmic education, teaching value systems in age appropriate way over time
Just had a discussion with a good friend, nay, my Dharmic brother about something.
Often we, well I do at least, blame parents upbringing when a kid turns into self hating deracinated person with little love for country.
Question is how much do parents control? ++
1. Upbringing. Parents setting (or not) example, imparting Dharmic education, teaching value systems in age appropriate way over time
3. Environment. Broader society, TV and other media and their influence
We all assign % credit for how a kid turns out based on our world view and experiences.
Thoughts?

#Thiruppavai
Andal is Devi’s amsavatharam, Sri Devi incarnated in the form of Seethā performed upadeshak to the people of the earth. It is said that she even did Upadesham to Ravana who did not heed her but in his next birth as Sisupālan redeemed himself.
Through her #Thiruppavai prabhandham she is showing us the way to reach Bhagavan’s feet.
Verse 1 continued below
Paasuram (Verse) 1 of Thiruppavai
மார்கழித் திங்கள் மதி நிறைந்த நன்னாளால்
On the auspicious full moon day of the Margazhi month
நீராடப் போதுவீர் போதுமினோ நேரிழையீர்
Well ornamented maidens, those desirous of taking bath in the holy River please come on
