Weeks before the 2019 Easter bombings, I realized Zahran Hashim was becoming a huge force in the world of radicals across South Asia and he was also well known to the political establishment of Srilanka.

I say this in spite of many western media outlets calling him "little known" or an "unknown entity" back then. They just did not know the impact he was creating here.

But, little did the general public know that he will inflict one of the worst terror attacks & blow himself up.

Zahran Hashim was born in a middle-class Muslim family part of Kattankudy. He was a college dropout.

Soon, he got into radical philosophy and started picking fights with local Muslims in his area. The local mosque identified the problems & tried addressing it with his family.

He made multiple trips to South India and started spreading his wings by uploading radical and jihadi videos on social media. This is where he really wielded his influence and got 1000s of followers.

But the idea of my thread is to focus on de-radicalizing a radical person. The fact here is like in many other cases, the local Muslim community often try their best to control such characters.
Their approach may not be the best one at times, but they do make an effort.

If one were to search the Globe for a community or sect or clan that for more than 20 centuries has done the same religious, social and cultural activities and is domiciled in the same place throughout the 2000 years (1/18)

BREAKING: #SupremeCourtOfIndia has ruled that an accused has a right to bail if his arrest was in violation of Sections 41 and 41A of CrPc. The SC made these observations in the case of Satender Kumar Antil vs Central Bureau Of Investigation

SC had already laid down guidelines w.r.t grant of bail to accused who are not arrested during investigation on charge sheet being filed. Detailed guidelines were given by the SC for bail under three different categories of offences

Category A - offences punishable with imprisonment of 7 years or less;
Category B - offences punishable with death, imprisonment for life, or imprisonment for more than 7 years, including economic offences under special acts;
Category C - Offences punishable under Special Acts;

Category D - Economic offences not punishable under special acts.
For each category, the SC had prescribed separate and detailed guidelines for procuring bail

However, despite such guidelines, the SC found various Special Leave Petitions pending before it, challenging rejection of bail.

The directors often pretend to struggle for the monthly fund target, while Pravda has 2.7Cr Reserves (UNUTILISED).

Interestingly crowdfunding (2.9Cr) in the past three years is almost equal to UNUTILISED funds (2.7Cr).

And the bank FD increased from 13L to 1.7Cr same time.

Simple maths, with 2.7Cr of reserves, the company can run (with the same hefty salary structure) for the next 28 months without any source of income.
