Assalam Alaiki dear Sister in Islam. I hope this meets you well. Hope you are keeping safe in this pandemic. May Allah preserve you and your beloved family. I would like to address the misconception and misinterpretation in your thread. Please peruse the THREAD below.

1. First off, a disclaimer. Should you feel hurt by my words in the course of the thread, then forgive me. It’s from me and not from Islam. And I probably have to improve on my delivery. And I may not quote you verbatim, but the intended meaning would be there. Thank You!

2. Standing on Imam Shafii’s quote: “And I never debated anyone but that I did not mind whether Allah clarified the truth on my tongue or his tongue” or “I never once debated anyone hoping to win the debate; rather I always wished that the truth would come from his side.”

3. Okay, into the meat (my love for meat is showing. Lol) of the thread. Even though you didn’t mention the verse that permitted polygamy, everyone knows the verse you were talking about (Q4:3).

4. Your reasons for the revelation of the verse are strange. The first time I came across such. I had to quickly consult the books on the exegeses or tafsir of the Quran written by renowned specialists!
MDZS is laden with buddhist references. As a South Asian person, and history buff, it is so interesting to see how Buddhism, which originated from India, migrated, flourished & changed in the context of China. Here's some research (🙏🏼 @starkjeon for CN insight + citations)

1. LWJ’s sword Bichen ‘is likely an abbreviation for the term 躲避红尘 (duǒ bì hóng chén), which can be translated as such: 躲避: shunning or hiding away from 红尘 (worldly affairs; which is a buddhist teaching.) (

2. Sandu (三 毒), Jiang Cheng’s sword, refers to the three poisons (triviṣa) in Buddhism; desire (kāma-taṇhā), delusion (bhava-taṇhā) and hatred (vibhava-taṇhā).

These 3 poisons represent the roots of craving (tanha) and are the cause of Dukkha (suffering, pain) and thus result in rebirth.

Interesting that MXTX used this name for one of the characters who suffers, arguably, the worst of these three emotions.

3. The Qian kun purse “乾坤袋 (qián kūn dài) – can be called “Heaven and Earth” Pouch. In Buddhism, Maitreya (मैत्रेय) owns this to store items. It was believed that there was a mythical space inside the bag that could absorb the world.” (TWX)
Actually, in general, the term Azhwar is used to refer to even those Adiyaars who permanently reside in Sri Vaikuntam with Emperumaan. They are called Nithyasuris. Chakrathazhwar, Garudazhwar, Thiruvananthazhwan, Senapathi Azhwan and such names are quite common.

In fact, even for some Acharyas the term Azhwan has been suffixed to Their Thirunamams as a mark of Their strikingly deep Bhakthi. Eg: Sri Koorathazhwan, Sri Milagazhwan.

That being said, the term Azhwar is primarily used to refer to those specific Bhakthas who were gifted with purest gnanam (mayarvara mathinalam) by Sriman Narayana for the unique cause of revealing the 4000 Divya Prabandhas (also celebrated as Thamizh or Dravida Vedas).

3/n

Thereby, those 12 noble Devotees alone are included in the Azhwar list.

In case of Swami Ramanujacharya, the purpose of His Avathara was not to reveal the 4000 Divya Prabandhas but to enhance the spread of those 4000 Divya Prabandhas and Their glories.

Hence, Swami Ramanuja is in the Acharya goshti. However, two major points to note are:

1. Swami Ramanuja is none but Swami Nammazhwar's Divine Feet and His Avathara is an extension of Swami Nammazhwar's Avathara.

"Mantras without Initiation"

Mantras are science. Different types of mantras exist based on different Rishi's and Yogi's works.Mantras had enormous efforts in place.Rishis performed intense Tapasyas through which they realized the existence of them.

Sanaskritam is a very tricky language. It has beautiful placement of words and one needs good wisdom to understand the origin of it's placement and Tatparya. Mantras are segregated into various categories based on it's usage in Aachara. There are several acharas like Vedic, Vama

Kaula, Vaishnava, Madhwa etc. Different mantras require different level of repetitions to attain Sidhis or say the ability to use the mantra for said cause / mostly Loka Kalyana for large cases. There are many controversies regarding chanting a mantra with or without Guru.

It is purely a human specific in Kali Yug to decide, BUT as per shastras a Guru is required for initiating a person into intense mantras. This is for the good of the seeker and guru gets nothing except the satisfaction of transferring his Tapoh shakti into the shishya.

Vedically Mantra has to be used in a prescribed way and it has 3 to five major components of usage

Components of a Mantra
1. Rishi - Who Worked
2. Chandas - How it is spelled
3. Devata - Whom do we pray
4. Beeja - What is the source syllable
5. Shakti Tattva - Which is the type
What can an average Hindu do for Dharma ?

A list of New Year resolutions for the average Hindu to follow this year.

1. Vote BJP : Despite disagreements it's currently the best party for Hindus, vote for them in state & central elections, ask questions when they get to power.

2. Be a Hindu tribalist, always keep a fellow Hindu over a non-Hindu. Follow these three axioms and spread the word. The best long term thing you can do for Hinduism is to give Hindu society a sense of tribalism.

3. Wear a visible symbol to mark your Hinduness publicly, it maybe a Tilak, a sacred thread, a Kalawa or anything distinctively Hindu. Enough propaganda has been done against Hindu symbols. We need to undo it.

4. Buy only from Hindu run businesses. Don't give your hard earned money to people who want extinction of your religion and people. Even if a thing from a Hindu is slightly expensive, buy from him instead of a slightly cheaper from a non-Hindu.

5. Know your place in the world, your friends and your enemies. Be a civilizationally conscious Hindu who isn't fooled by non-Hindus. Read the pinned threads of this handle. Spread them further. Counter misinformation on Hinduism. Let every Hindu be aware of the reality.
