1. ‘The book I’m reading’ photograph isn’t about the book. It should have a frappe, cappuccino, anychino..basically any Barista level fancy stuff. Coz honestly neither you nor your friends understand or use French press or Colombian beans. An eatable, casually thrown around, but

make sure the label is visible. And it HAS to be some foreign brand of cookies, cheese, cake you picked up at your last Khan market visit and we’re saving for this photograph. Try Scandinavian brands. No one understands what’s written and everyone will assume it’s really fancy.

And all this should cover not more than 30-40% of space in your photograph. Rest should be of the ‘view’ of the localé which ‘ OMG I wasn’t even aiming at but it just came in picture’ kinda stuff. An opportunity to show your house, garden, hotel etc. Make sure the beverage is

in a big cup. Never China. That’s Middle class. Go for those heavy stone/ Earth shade ones that prove how you always prefer staying connected to ground but everyone know they are pretty costly at those fancy stores. You can also buy them from road side vendors and fool everyone.

Beat Deadlines, don’t meet it:

In the world of social media and the latest gist/violence, there is the tendency to relegate quite important things.

In the world of work, many will meet deadlines, others will miss deadlines but only the exceptional

beat deadlines.
Many times, young professionals equate beating deadlines to not having so much work. That’s not really true!

You can make a habit of beating deadlines, it only requires the discipline needed and self-application.

It is likely that you’re working with a superior who likely also has a superior, thus, there’s a chain of command that probably need to review a piece of work before going to the client. Beating deadlines not only shows you as being efficient, it also shows you’re effective.

Am I saying you should beat deadlines without the required dedication and quality? NO! As I was once told, quality over speed! Does it also mean you cannot have quality and speed? NO! In fact, if you produce quality work and you deliver it past the needed time, the quality

work may become useless!
As I concluded my orientation& training when I first started working, I had a short meeting with a mentor, who is a partner at another top law firm. Over a glass of red wine and me asking how he became a partner quite early,

I have moved houses a couple of times in the past 8 years that I have been married but this is the first time I am doing a big move from one city to another with all my house stuff after the kids were born (thread)

Didn't think it'd be so hard coz we don't even have much stuff. we lived in a furnished house in the first 5 years and then kids happened and furniture was unnecessary coz if you have kids you know that they think furniture is for doing everything except sitting and relaxing

So we don't have beds (kids will fall down), no TV (kids will likely break it), no chest of drawers (had one, kids open and shut it so many times, it broke), no study table/work desk (lol, kitchen sink and dining table is only study table)

We also never bought any toys for the kids because again if you have kids, you know how useless toys are. The kids have played more with our furniture and our utensils than any of the expensive toys they were gifted with
(BUT ALWAYS HAVE 200 TYPES OF BALLS AND CARS)

Even clothes we don't have much because the kids outgrow stuff so fast, we keep donating clothes and husband works from home and has been wearing the same shorts and t-shirt since the day we got married and I have some 15-20 kurtas/leggings which I have been wearing for years

Being a student of a public university,I’m also partaking in the ongoing compulsory sit at home directive given by ASUU.

The last time I entered a lecture hall was in December 2019 (after my 2nd mbbs exam), I hope I’ll be able to differentiate spleen from pancreas when school resumes.😂

So like most affected student, I didn’t want to stay idle doing nothing at home (the errands you’ll run,it’s preferable you get a job sef),

I got a job and was saving the earnings I was getting from there. But from a lot of books I’ve read, I’ve realized saving in banks

1/ To all who answered my question ab the college spread run game, I'd argue that RichRod & Urban were the first devotees & developers to have major success with it. RichRod started at wvu in 2001 & Urb at BG also in 2001. It was Urb's unbeaten 2004 Utah team that hit bigtime.

4/ SG teams used IZ as a base run play so they also used the naked and orbit actions. The legend goes that one day in pract a RichRod QB accidentally "read" the BSDE rather than just handing the ball off on an IZ play. They started tinkering with that and found that it worked...

5/ this solved the major shortcoming of the naked and orbit actions--both those things were "guesses". If you called naked, and the bsde didnt squeeze the cutback, your qb could get a face full of hard plastic and metal. By reading him from the SG, this problem was solved...

Trucks have defined delivery slots for drop-offs and pick-ups - think of it like a doctor's appointment list - they must be there in their 30-60 minute window, or else the haulier gets fined. And DCs operate 24/7. So if 10 trucks miss their slots because of a logjam at the ports

It's not just a case of squeezing them into another window - there *is* no spare slot (or hardly any). So you can't easily catch up. And once a delivery slot at the DC is missed, that has a knock-effect. A missed inbound delivery means outbound trucks leave without their stock

And stores don't receive their orders (which are placed on a just-in-time basis anyway - your average Tesco actually has a very small warehouse space, as almost all of its stock goes straight to shelves)

Now Tesco can mitigate this for tinned/dry food by forward-ordering stockpiles, but this is a squeeze to fit extra delivery trucks in, and there's only so much extra space in their DCs, so they can only forward-buy so much
