Mahakaleshwara at Ujjain is one of the Dwadasha Jyotirlinga, which is associated with Libra(Tula) Rashi. It is he who causes the exaltation of Saturn (Shani-Deva).

A prayer at this Jyotirlinga is bound to bless one with health & life as Shiva in the form of Mahakala is pacified. Saturn is the Dharmaraja of a chart & its deity is Yama who never fails in upholding Dharma.

So this Saturday, I present this stuti with pictures of Hanuman Shringar of Mahakala so that the combined blessings of Mahakala & Hanuman bestow kripa of Shani-deva upon you all.

नमोऽस्त्वनन्तरूपाय नीलकण्ठ नमोऽस्तु ते ।
अविज्ञातस्वरूपाय कैवल्यायामृताय च ॥ १॥

There is nothing "secular" about New Year's Day. It is based on the Gregorian Calendar, named for Pope Gregory. The change from Julian Calendar was made due to the shift in Easter. Motivation for this New Year date was also religious.

The New Year was shifted 10 days to account for Easter. Why was this particular day chosen? After December 25 for (fake) Jesus's Birthday, they counted forward to when Khatna happens.

The Quran is a friend, which will never let you down in this world and hereafter. The Qur'an introduces itself as the guidance for the worlds and the manifest light.

Qur’an says : “This is the Book of Allah, there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the pious" (2:2)

Allah Says “ Behold, the first House (of Prayer) established for mankind is the one at Bakkah: it is full of blessing and a centre of guidance for the whole world” (3:96)

Again Allah says: “O men! A proof has come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down unto you a clear light” (4:174)

Allah has laid down solution of every human problem in the Qur’an very clearly. Qur’an says: “..... We have revealed to you the Book as an explanation of all things, a guide, a mercy, and good news for those who ˹fully˺ submit” (16:89)

My life as a devotional polytheist is not centered on what others are doing or not doing, but rather on what I'm doing and need to do. How do I put my Gods first? How am I serving the and establishing right relationship with Them at all times? How can I improve my devotion?

When I browse social media I see so much finger pointing, discouragement, and endless dissection of what others are doing or how others are going wrong. For my own part I choose to focus on what I need to do for my Gods in order to be a just and productive human being.

I choose to live by example. I say live not lead, because I don't regard myself as a leader. I'm a servant of the Gods, thus my focus is service. Service to me means offering the efforts of my life and livelihood to my Gods for Their pleasure. My pleasure comes last.

The Gods are perfectly capable of chastising and punishing those who do ill or falsely misrepresent Them. They don't need my big mouth pointing out the faults of others. My service is grounded in a cultus that embraces every area of my life, including the secular.

In my household there is no secular, since my household contains a Temple and is the holder of holy relics and cult images. Washing the dishes and taking out the trash are part of serving the Temple and are part of my practice in living the Gods at all times.

I feel I need to stand up and say that in terms of religions and religious ideologies, I firmly believe that there is room for every religious experience, provided that plurality and diversity are respected and preserved.

There cannot be peace or civility between religious communities or societies if one religious community is asserting its doctrine or views above others, and attempting to silence other views. I believe firmly in pluralism, diversity, and personal freedom to choose.

I believe that there is room for each perspective to be heard and for people to make their own determination what is healthy and right for them. As a polytheist I recognize the existence of all the Gods, and that includes Gods I myself do not worship or give cultus to.

I will always stand by the values of freedom of religious belief and practice for every human being, and that includes people with opposing views. Where I personally draw the line is with any ideology asserting its superiority at the expense of others, and striving to enforce it

My belief is that all the Gods are worthy of worship by Their people, and that people devoted to their deity/deities should strive to serve their deity/deities to the best of their abilities. There is room for everyone to do that, in my opinion.

INSURANCE IN ISLAM

A SHORT THREAD:

1. Insurance is also known as takaful (in arabic), just that there are some few differences between the conventional insurance and Takaful.

2. How takaful works: All participants (policyholders) agree to guarantee each other and instead of paying premiums, they make contributions to a mutual fund, or pool. The pool of collected contributions creates the Takaful fund.

3. The amount of contribution that each participant makes is based on the type of cover they require, and on their personal circumstances. As in conventional insurance, the policy (Takaful Contract) specifies the nature of the risk and period of cover.

4. The Takaful fund is managed and administered on behalf of the participants by a Takaful Operator who charges an agreed fee to cover costs. These costs include the costs of sales and marketing, underwriting, and claims management.

Brahmins are the Jews of India. I say that as a non-Brahmin. People have been fed on propaganda of rich and powerful Brahmin. Then why all stories start with - Once upon a time, there was a poor #Brahmin.

3rd-4th century mosaic. The Sun God Sol. He is holding the sphere of the heavens in his hand. What makes this notable is that this is from a Jewish synagogue. I could have said this was Jesus, and people would definitely believe it.

You can see there that Sol is in the middle of a zodiac wheel, a common motif in the Roman empire. And above, there are two menorahs and a Torah shrine. The zodiac signs are labeled in Hebrew, but Greek is also present.

Here are two more examples of Sol with the Zodiac wheel, also from synagogues. Just to show it was not an isolated usage. It was common.

Here is an early Christian depiction of Jesus as the Sun God. In the 4th century, Christian art was retooled pagan art. Patronized by Constantine and his successors at first. Constantine himself worshiped Sol Invictus.

What I want to focus on here is this. The orb shows up all over the place. It represents the heavens or the whole cosmos. And the cross or X running through it is also important. I will show many examples of it to prove the point.

WHAT IS A SALAGRAMA?

The Saligrama is an extremely sacred stone found in the holy Gandhaki river in the Himalayas.
They are considered the same as the Supreme Lord Himself and are worshiped throughout the temples in India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

As per Gautamiya Tantra, near the kali - Gandaki river, there is a big place called Salagram.
The stones which appear in that place are called Salagramas.

According to the Hindu tradition, this stone is the shelter for a small insect known as "Vajra-Keeta" that has a diamond tooth which cuts through the Saligram stone and stays inside it.

The Saligrama stones are hundreds of million years old when the Himalaya was an ocean floor.The Saligrams are specifically described as fossil-stones which have taken shape in the Gandaki-river, and as characterized by the presence of discus marks.
