Who are doing these attacks. Obviously some groups want some anarchy and put the government of the day on the mat.

That Deendhar Anjuman group was passively (via. plausible deniability) supported by then opposition cong, there should be no surprise if these "mystery groups" who r vandalizing temples are supported by TDP (current opposition) because #PorambokuAndhraHindus are in sleep (10/n)
While the government of AP led by @ysjagan is an utter failure and hasn't done any significant investigation (boasting of best of CID divisions and it is now an year and attacks haven't stopped) the #PorambokuAndhraHindus forgot even how to revolt or counter attack (11/n)

Vedic Education System delivered outstanding results.  These were an outcome of the context in which it functioned.  Understanding them is critical in the revival of such a system in modern times. 
The Shanthi Mantra spells out the context of the Vedic Education System.


It says:

ॐ सह नाववतु ।
सह नौ भुनक्तु ।
सह वीर्यं करवावहै ।
तेजस्वि नावधीतमस्तु मा विद्विषावहै ।
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥

“Aum. May we both (the guru and disciples) together be protected. May we both be nourished and enriched. May we both bring our hands together and work

with great energy, strength and enthusiasm from the space of powerfulness. May our study and learning together illuminate both with a sharp, absolute light of higher intelligence. So be it.”

The students started the recitation of the Vedic hymns in early hours of morning.


The chanting of Mantras had been evolved into the form of a fine art. Special attention was paid to the correct pronunciation of words, Pada or even letters. The Vedic knowledge was imparted by the Guru or the teacher to the pupil through regulated and prescribed pronunciation,

I’ll explain why this comment is not only not helpful at all, but also very harmful.

The comment assumes we can’t tell the difference between people and toxic theology, it assumes our issues are with a few people who are outliers and misrepresented God, and we just seem to think that’s the totality of divinity. Which makes us appear unintelligent and petty.

2/

But, that’s not the case at all. I didn’t leave because a few people hurt me in the name of God, in fact I stayed long enough to get hurt again, and again, and again, and again. Because it’s not a few bad apples hurting people in the name of God what we are dealing with.

Instead we are talking about systemic abuse due to toxic theology that is taught as righteousness.

Go to any white evangelical church today and conduct all the tests you must to ensure only those who are “good Christians,” remain. I guarantee you people will be harmed there.

Not because people just hurt people, not because Christians have good intentions but sometimes make mistakes; instead because the harm is caused due to indoctrination into toxic theology and a belief that their social and theological framework is not only good,

Dear Friends, a few points to share regarding the Varna Ashrama Dharma.

Vested interests take advantage of our lack of awareness of this particular Dharma and project it as discriminatory.

More often than not, our own people give defensive replies to the accusations.

For example, when someone says "Hinduism is the worst religion as it discriminates based on birth" many of us reply like say "Isn't it there in faith Y?" or "It's based on profession" & such.

Varnashrama Dharma cannot be interpreted in isolation i.e. one has to understand & accept (at least) what the following mean to understand it in full:

1. Paramathma & Jivathma Thathvam
2. Karma-based Jananam, life events & Maranam
3. Narakam, Swargam & Moksham

The primary purpose of everyone's birth is to get out of the cycle of birth-death so that we can eternally serve Bhagawan and His Adiyaars.

Where has it ever been said that only Archakas & Yagnyopaveethadhaaris can get Gnanam & reach Moksham?? All are most welcome!!

Every Jivathma has been through loads & loads of janmas and has taken loads & loads of Karmic shareerams.

So, one being a Brahmana or Shudra in this birth doesn't mean anything. The same Jiva could've been a tree / animal in previous birth or may become one in the next!!

As the Fall of man was a consequence of the pursuit of our own good, this quest intrinsically contains the possibility of our return to The Good. The route back to The Good was only revealed by The Way [Jn. 14:6], so we might say that Christ incarnates to complete the Circle.


Each thing is moved by, implicitly converted or turned back to, its own good by its cause of procession - which is principally God.

"Via est nobis tendendi in Deum." - St. Thomas Aquinas, which is to say that:

Christ, who as a man, is the way of our tending (back) into God.


Ezekiel 10:6 | When the LORD commanded the man in linen, “Take fire from among the wheels, from among the cherubim,” the man went in and stood beside a wheel.

As Scripture and Dante see God's providence in circles, so did Boethius and Platonists more


Aquinas with, "Eadem est via qua descenditur et ascenditur." [SCG 4.1.3], brings back Heraclitus to the medievals, "The way up and the way down is the same." [Diels, B60]

The way up and the way down are the same.

I would like to share my story of how I found faith in God and how I came to realize Jesus is real 💯 and it only took 51years for me to know beyond a shadow of doubt. I hope you take the time to read my story. I must tell it somewhere because maybe it will help someone in doubt!

When I was 5yrs old, my parents divorced and my mom moved me away from my father in Indiana to mom's side down in Florida. Before that, I lived like a normal child in a good family but mom and dad were from different sides of the track. I was baptized Lutheran my family were from

Germany originally. Dads came in 1700s, mostly came in early 1800s. Anyway, after divorce, moved to Florida and was exposed to white trailer trash type of people that CUSSED, talked dirty, and just bad. And she married my step dad that is an atheist so church no more, unless bus.

So, I never believed the bible because man wrote it and I couldn't understand it. I never believed evolution either. And I still don't believe we were created to be slaves to aliens or Annunaki. I know we are more specially created than even they are. The Luciferians or Reptilian

Anyway, at 18 yrs old, I was working with chemicals and there was not proper ventilation and I pasted out. That was my first visit from Jesus and someone else is always with him but I never look at that person, only Jesus. And he was saying wake up, wake up and I woke up, blew it

RANI NAIKI DEVI AND THE BATTLE OF KASAHRADA

Mohammad Ghori, the young Ghurid Prince conquered Ghaznavids in Afghanistan in the year 1173 CE. He conducted some successful raids into the Indian territory, which even Mahmud Ghazni & the Persians couldn't do.


First&foremost,Ghori invaded states of Multan &Uch in India.After this he turned to southern states of Gujarat &Rajputana.Everybody knows this about Ghori,but what most pple r unaware of is the defeat he suffered at hands of Chalukyan Queen Naiki Devi in 1178 Battle of Kasahrada.


When he marched southwards, his first target was the prosperous fortified town of Anhilwara Patan.
It was the capital of Chalukyas(also known as Solankis of Gujarat) which was established by Vanraj of Chapotkata Dynasty in 8th century.


American historian Tertius Chandler states that it was the 10th largest city in the world at that time. The history of Chalukyas has been written by many historians, but the valour of the Great Queen Naiki Devi remains unsung.


Born to the Kadamba King Paramardin of Goa,Naiki Devi was well trained in sword fighting, horse riding, strategy & every other subject of Statesmanship. She was married to King Ajaypala of Gujarat who sat on throne in 1171CE. Unfortunately,the King died within 4 yrs of his rule.

One of the most important place for snake worship.
The murtis of Kartikeya and Narasimha are self-manifested.
There is an anthill which is opposite the shrine. Bhaktas pour milk on it as part of rituals.


Here Subramanya performed penance in the form of snake. He sought protection from Narsimha for Nagas from Sri Vishnu’s vehicle Garuda, known for his dislike towards serpents.
The Pushya Suddha Shasti is one of the biggest festivals here believed to be appearance day of Subramanya


It was in this region where Subramanya vanquished Ghatikasura, the demon. Hence called Ghati Subramanya.
Childless couples visit here to seek blessings for getting a child.
The installation of snake murtis near the shrine is believed to be an auspicious act.


The murti of Karthikeya with a seven headed cobra faces eastwards while Narasimha faces westwards.
To ensure that both are visible to bhaktas at the same time, a huge mirror is placed in the rear in the sanctum sanctorum.

1) The Temple of the Divine Claudius was a vast temple complex on Rome's Caelian Hill, overlooking the valley that would later be occupied by the Colosseum. Though almost nothing now remains of the structure, its scale and grandeur once rivalled anything in the city.. #LostRome


2) The 'Claudium' was intended as a sacred complex to revere Claudius and the imperial cult. Construction began soon after the death and deification of the emperor in 54 AD, initiated by his widow Agrippina who was likely responsible for his supposed death by poisoning. #LostRome


3) The sprawling temple complex sat on a gigantic podium that spread across the Caelian Hill, measuring 180 x 200 metres; with towering retaining walls of travertine that raised the structure 20 metres above the valley below. #LostRome


4) The elevated sacred area was likely entered by steps facing the temple on the west side. The temple itself had a projecting hexastyle porch and was surrounded by gardens and a grand portico, probably the 'porticus Claudia' mentioned in Martial's 'On the Spectacles'. #LostRome

In 1937, a trucker got frustrated waiting for his cargo to be unloaded. He later sold his company for $1.1 billion.

Here’s the story of how Malcom McLean made a billion dollars and which startup could be following in his footsteps. (Inspired by our episode with @laurabehrenswu)


In the early 1950s, the shipping industry was a dying business.

New York’s docks were handling half as much domestic cargo in the early 1950s as they had been in the depressed 1930s.

In thirty years, no one had invested significant money in coastal shipping.

Why?

As McLean found out, loading ships was difficult and slow.

A truck or train would deliver items to the port. Each item was unloaded separately, recorded, and carried to storage.

When a ship was ready, each item was taken from storage, counted again, and hauled on-board.


The cost of this labor was significant. As one expert at the time explained:

“A four-thousand-mile voyage for a shipment might consume 50 percent of its costs in covering just the two ten-mile movements through two ports.”


Yet, despite the industry’s issues, it felt little pressure to change.

Foreigners were barred from operating domestically. Cartels ran international routes. And gov. subsidies eased the pain of labor costs.

Reshaping the industry needed an outsider.

Enter Malcolm McLean.
