Hello folks, Today I got a map of the Milwaukee Metropolitan area. We are going to be looking at Scott Walker's 3rd and 4th Election.

Walker has always been a polarizing figure in Wisconsin politics. He's been pretty much hated by Liberals and loved by Conservatives ever since he ending collective bargaining for public employees. He managed survive 2 very close re-elections (2012 recall, 2014 General)
However, his luck ran out in the 2018 Blue wave. Support for Walker fell pretty much everywhere. He did worse in pretty everywhere with a sizable population . The only place ,he really gained from 2014, was the small towns in Northern Wisconsin.
Walker went from winning the Milwaukee metro by 6 to losing it by 2.4 . Him doing worse in the Metro can be attributed by losing support virtually everywhere.
Ironically, the only place where Walker did slightly better was in the heavily African American wards of Milwaukee. Turnout went down pretty badly in this area, so most of his gains were likely due to population loss .
Walker also crated along his base. He went from winning Waukesha County by 46% to 34% and Ozaukee County by 41% to 27% ( a swing of 12% and 14%). Both of those counties swung more to Evers than Milwaukee county! Only a swing of 8.3%
Where did Scott Walker lose support the most? Ironically in his home Wauwatosa. (He use to represent this area in the State Assembly) . He went from from winning it by 5% to losing it by 10.7%. a 16% swing!
It's not just Trump that is losing in the Suburbs. Even Scott Walker, who is From Milwaukee county and tailor made for the WOW, cratered hard in the area. Although he outperformed Trump both times in his 2018 election, he still came no where near his 2012 and 2014 numbers.

Handy guide for Dominic Raab and other Brexiteers, and for anyone keen to replace our EU trade with trade with the rest of the world on WTO terms...

You can't magic away the vast distances involved. Clue: we fly in only 1/192th of our trade compared to the amount that arrives via sea

But even if you invented a teleporter tomorrow, WTO terms are so bad, so stacked against us, that a no-deal Brexit will be a total economic disaster

And while the Brexiteers fantasise, real jobs are being lost, investments are drying up, companies are moving assets to the EU27 or redomiciling. All already happened and happening right now, not in some mythical

Of course, there are many, many myths that Brexiteers perpetuate that are total fiction. You've seen a couple of them already. The thread below busts a whole lot
