This short drama is still playing out in our days.

Jesus noticed this man who had been sick, stagnant and hopelessly hopeless.

He had been there for 38yrs.
Obviously, he was not born there. He was probably dumped there by his parents.

2.
He was probably a teenager with dreams and aspiration when calamity struck, and had to be dumped there when his parents got tired of taking care of him.

Obviously, he had been in his new "residence" even before Jesus was born.... been crippled for 38yrs. WOW 😳

📌
Matthew 5v6-12 TPT
When Jesus saw him lying there, he knew that the man had been crippled for a long time. So Jesus said to him, “Do you truly long to be healed?”

To cut the long story short, the crippled man was healed
📌
4.
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Stand up! Pick up your sleeping mat and you will walk!”
9 Immediately he stood up—he was healed! So he rolled up his mat and walked again! Now this miracle took place on the Jewish Sabbath.

Now, watch this in V10
5.
📌
The leaders who did not see him when he was in abject poverty and pain, suddenly saw him when he was delivered. They never came to his aid...infact, he must have been a good sport to watch. Rather than rejoice with him, they began to use their reggae to spoil his blues.
📌
6.
10 When the Jewish leaders saw the man walking along carrying his sleeping mat, they objected & said, “What are you doing carrying that? Don’t you know it’s the Sabbath? It’s not lawful for you to carry things on d Sabbath!”
👆🏽
Can you imagine the wickedness in their hearts?
7.
But, thank God the man gave it to them.

He was saying, the one who only just met me, who showed so much empathy, the one who healed me, instructed me to do what I'm doing. You guys don't count. You were never there.
📌
8.
11 He answered them, “The man who healed me told me to pick it up and walk.”
👇🏼
Now, listen to their foolish question.
They wanted to know the source of his breakthrough. Meanwhile, all these years, they never cared to know the source of his pain.
👇🏼
9.
12 “What man?” they asked him. “Who was this man who ordered you to carry something on a Sabbath?”

We all can relate with this drama. We are either on the receiving end or like the pharisees.
10.
Those who never care about your pains and challenges, suddenly show up when God lifts you up.
They want to know how you qualified for the blessings.
They want to question why you instead of them.
The want to make sure they use their reggae to spoil your blues
11.
One thing they forgot is that, God is not a citizen of their country.
He does not bless a fellow because they like him and highly recommended him.
He does not need anyone's recommendation or validation.

He is God and will always be God.

To do a Namaskaar or bow before someone means that you are humble or without pride and ego. This means that we politely bow before you since you are better than me. Pranipaat(प्राणीपात) also means the same that we respect you without any vanity.

Surrendering False pride is Namaskaar. Even in devotion or bhakti we say the same thing. We want to convey to Ishwar that we have nothing to offer but we leave all our pride and offer you ourselves without any pride in our body. You destroy all our evil karma.

2/9

We bow before you so that you assimilate us and make us that capable. Destruction of our evils and surrender is Namaskaar. Therefore we pray same thing before and after any big rituals.

I think a plausible explanation is that whatever Corbyn says or does, his critics will denounce - no matter how much hypocrisy it necessitates.

Corbyn opposes the exploitation of foreign sweatshop-workers - Labour MPs complain he's like Nigel

He speaks up in defence of migrants - Labour MPs whinge that he's not listening to the public's very real concerns about immigration:

He's wrong to prioritise Labour Party members over the public:

He's wrong to prioritise the public over Labour Party
