" What have Brahmins done other than beg for alms?"- asks this political stooge.

I have noticed that people like him, who slander me everyday and spread lies about me, have a deep seated hatred for Brahmins.

This is a common factor driving them all.

Brahmins gave their blood for the freedom of this country.

The first bullet against the British in 1857 was shot by a Brahmin named Mangal Pandey.

According to Meenakshi Jain, 70% of freedom fighters who were kiIIed by British bullets were Brahmins.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Chandrashekhar Azad, Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, Mangal Pandey;

Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Batukeshwar Dutt, Ram Prasad Bismil, Chapekar brothers;

G Gokhale, Tatya Tope, Pattabhi Sitaramayya, Pingali Venkayya, Subramania Bharati, Vinoba Bhave, Rabindranath Tagore
These are just some of prominent names. The list is long.

In spite of the fact that Brahmins shed their blood for this country, some of these politcal stooges taunt Brahmins with beggar trope day & night.

This is based on their faulty understanding of the concept of Bhikṣā
Bhikṣā is not conceptually equivalent to "beg".

Many Shastras forbid Brahmins from earning any wealth. An ideal Brahmin is not supposed to be attracted to materialism. He should acquire his victuals only by Bhikṣā.

Many Brahmins took this injunction seriously & gave up wealth
There are anecdotes of numerous brahmins donating all their wealth and subsisting only by Bhikṣā.

When Brahmins lived by Bhikṣā, education was free.

When Brahmins lived by Bhikṣā, healthcare was free.

This was how the premodern India could manage to subsist in the past.
If Brahmins monopolized trade, they would have been richer than other ancient communities like Jews. But concentration of wealth would have made life difficult for others.

Ergo, Hindu scriptures forbade brahmins from earning

This is why we find many anecdotes of poor brahmins.
But instead of acknowledging the sacrifice, they mock Brahmins everyday using this trope of Bhikṣā.

Dear @narendramodi I am an admirer of your good work. But I am surprised that you follow such an abusive Casteist Brahmanophobic misogynist.
@narendramodi Do they not know that RSS was founded by a Brahmin named KB Hedgewar?

Do they not know that political Hindutva was pioneered by another Brahmin named VD Savarkar?

Do they not know that even their current Sarsanghchalak is a Brahmin?

They still ask "what have Brahmins done?"
@narendramodi This is Shiva in his Bhikshatana form.

Shiva is frequently depicted as asking for alms ( Bhikṣā).

Will these political stooges now mock Shiva too?
@narendramodi Odd day: Brahmins were poor beggars. They begged us for alms.

Even day: Brahmins oppressed us for 50000000000000000000000000000000000 years.

Nehru was officially classified as "Class A Prisoner".

He had newspapers, books, servants & coolies. He was allowed to walk out & meet others.

He was also allowed Switzerland trips "while technically imprisoned".

Savarkar was locked up in Kalapani & beaten up for 10 years

It was only once in his life that Nehru was treated just like any ordinary prisoner.

This was in Nabha Jail for 12 days.

Within 12 days, Nehru's father begged British viceroy.

He wrote an apology & assured that his son Nehru will never enter Nabha.

12 Days v/s 10 Years!

Nehru's jail in Ahmedabad had a badminton court specially built for Nehru and other top Congress leaders.

On his insistence, a library was made accessible to him during prison terms . That is how he could write books while "imprisoned".

A fitness instructor also attended to him

Nehru's jail terms were essential political stunts in building up his image as a great freedom fighter.

However, they seemed more like exotic getaways than real prisons

The 12 day imprisonment of Nehru in Nabha jail was harsh.

When Motilal came to know that his Nehru was locked up in a real jail, he rushed to meet Nehru but was forbidden by the administrator of Nabha.

Then, British viceroy came to the rescue of Nehrus and overruled this order
Yogi ji vowed to rename Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar, and BJP pulled a stunning performance in subsequent Hyderabad GHMC elections this week.

This is a thread about the hidden history of Bhagyanagar, Bhagmati, Hyderabad and the Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar.

From a long time, Secularist-Islαmist historians and Media have been on a relentless campaign to hide and deface the Hindu history and heritage of Hyderabad.

They say "Hyderabad was never Bhagyanagar. Bhagmati never existed".

Here is a

It is shocking that such campaign of lies is carried out in face of direct evidence.

Here is a contemporary Qutub Shahi painting of wedding procession of Qutub Shah & his Hindu wife Bhagmati. Hyderabad is named after her.

It was commissioned by their grandson in 1650 CE.

Notice the Hindu style wedding with women carrying Aartis. I explain its significance below & demolish the secularist claims.

Let me start with a brief background.

Qutub Shahi dynasty was established by Sultan Quli Qutb Mulk (1470 CE-1543 CE). He came to India from Iran.

India was then a land of fabled wealth and limitless opportunities (pic of Sultan Quli).

1/“What would need to be true for you to….X”

Why is this the most powerful question you can ask when attempting to reach an agreement with another human being or organization?

A thread, co-written by @deanmbrody:

2/ First, “X” could be lots of things. Examples: What would need to be true for you to

- “Feel it's in our best interest for me to be CMO"
- “Feel that we’re in a good place as a company”
- “Feel that we’re on the same page”
- “Feel that we both got what we wanted from this deal

3/ Normally, we aren’t that direct. Example from startup/VC land:

Founders leave VC meetings thinking that every VC will invest, but they rarely do.

Worse over, the founders don’t know what they need to do in order to be fundable.

4/ So why should you ask the magic Q?

To get clarity.

You want to know where you stand, and what it takes to get what you want in a way that also gets them what they want.

It also holds them (mentally) accountable once the thing they need becomes true.

5/ Staying in the context of soliciting investors, the question is “what would need to be true for you to want to invest (or partner with us on this journey, etc)?”

Multiple responses to this question are likely to deliver a positive result.
