Empires must receive the benefits of their own imperialism or the costs of empire become impossible to service. And yet, American Elite have made clear that the US acting in its own interests would be evil, as the US exists to defend the "Liberal World Order".
[thread time]

What the fuck is this "Liberal World Order" exactly? It is world where no Empire is allowed to act in its own interests, where only "private" market actors are allowed to act in their own interests, where States are barred from subordinating the interests of now global capital.
Capital cannot assert itself over States directly without commandeering the force of an even more powerful State. So to dominate the world, the capitalist elite must conspire to subvert the most powerful State into an imperialism on its behalf. I call this subversion "liberalism"
After WW2, the US economy was HALF of the world economy & were in an amazing geostrategic position with the world's best navy commanding the oceans in between them & their rivals. They were ready to be milked & had just developed the greatest propaganda weapon in history, the TV.
At the dawn of US hegemony, Capital had a clear run at world domination. The strategy was clear, leverage US imperial dominance to integrate the world into a globalized marketplace in which no State would be powerful enough to subordinate Capital to their geostrategic interests.
Globalism is the attempt to override geopolitical logic itself with the American Imperial zombie forcibly infecting the entire world with its liberal contagion, dissolving the possibility for State power to obstruct the power of the dominant capitalist oligarchs.
All of this could only work insofar as the US maintains economic and military-technological supremacy. The problem for Globalism is that the very process is itself parasitic upon the US's capacity to maintain this supremacy, as the very source of it is empowered by the State.
This is the paradox of neoliberal Globalism & parasitism in general, it both relies upon and must undermine the power of the American State. The US has totally stagnated economically and technologically because of the very parasitism its Imperial project attempts to impose.
The US is being beaten badly by the Chinese economically and the Russians in technological development (weapons systems & energy). Why? Because both China and Russia subordinate Capital to their geostrategic interests, their imperialism makes them stronger not weaker.
Globalism has already lost, Putin saved the Russian State from its post-Cold War subjugation to Globalism under Yeltsin. Whilst the CCP bought off much of the corrupt American Elite, neutralizing opposition whilst the US was busy obstructing Russian interests in the Middle East.
As this thread explains well, US containment of Russia in the Middle East has failed: https://t.co/NrsObQyOxn

As this video explains, the US is too technologically inferior to militarily contest Russia now: https://t.co/mBSxyre3tX
Geostrategic logic has already triumphed over Capitalist logic, the US economy has already collapsed. It proceeds only as an illusion created by financialization, in terms of real production the US makes and matters far far less than China.
This is why we have this "managed decline", the illusion of neoliberal Globalism must be maintained. If the US was to become self-aware that its imperial project had failed it would awaken it to its own geostrategic interests and subordinate these parasitic capitalist oligarchs.
The first step on the path to this self-awareness was the Trump presidency. Isolationism (Monroe Doctrine) & Trade Protectionism made the US into a superpower as it is a land of abundance which has very little to gain from meddling in Eurasian politics, and it has lost so much!
This is why the corrupt American Elite and the capitalist parasites they serve have reacted they way they have to Trump and American Nationalism in general. They are scared & they know the jig is up, the best option they have is to take us down with them. Hence 'the Great Reset'.
