Kanhopatra and Panduranga Vittala #Thread #story

Bhakti of Kahnopatra is matchless.
Kahnopatra was daughter of a daasi, she mastered the art of singing &dancing. She was not interested to perform in front of Rajas.Once she saw a group of devotees singing the praise of Vittala

They were travelling to Pandharpur to see Vittala Panduranga.Kanhopatra wanted to go along with them, she went home informed mother&took her tambura& joined those devotees. After Darshan, decided to stay there itself. She would always remain in of the temple & sing vittala's praise.
One man told Badshah of Bedar about her &her beauty. On hearing this,Badshah sent his guards to go get Kanhopatra from Pandharpur temple.Guards reached temple gates&told Kanhopatra Badshah’s orders&that if she failed to listen to them, they would have to take her away forcefully.
She then told guards that she would visit Vittal for one last time&come back. She went in & prayed to Vittal&told that if he abandons her now whole world will blame https://t.co/frNkzsgWZg she pleaded to Vittala, her soul got united with him.Took her in his lap&she died on his lap.
Vittala then asked Pujari to bury her body at southern gate of https://t.co/rFYF7AjZyO soon as they buried her a tarati tree sprang up in that very place & everyone were surprised. We can till date see this tree in Vitthal Rukmani #temple in Pandharpur.
Guards who were sitting in main gate of temple asked Pujari what happened to Kanhopatra. He told them that she now got united with Vittala &is no more.Guards then asked them to show her body to which Pujari told them that it has changed into a tree. They were totally baffled.
Bhakti is a way to Mukti.Namam to Kanhopatra's Bhakti.

Vittala Panduranga🙏

Viruses and other pathogens are often studied as stand-alone entities, despite that, in nature, they mostly live in multispecies associations called biofilms—both externally and within the host.

Microorganisms in biofilms are enclosed by an extracellular matrix that confers protection and improves survival. Previous studies have shown that viruses can secondarily colonize preexisting biofilms, and viral biofilms have also been described.

...we raise the perspective that CoVs can persistently infect bats due to their association with biofilm structures. This phenomenon potentially provides an optimal environment for nonpathogenic & well-adapted viruses to interact with the host, as well as for viral recombination.

Biofilms can also enhance virion viability in extracellular environments, such as on fomites and in aquatic sediments, allowing viral persistence and dissemination.
