Reading my own old writing from 10+ years ago is rarely pleasant. It’s not that the ideas and techniques are worse/embarrassing by current tastes (though they often are), but that they have a brash energy I can’t vibe with anymore even where I can still stand by the content.

Most of that energy is not mine from a younger mindset personally (though there’s some of that) but a function of the era. 2010 generally had more of a brash energy going. An energy born of a widespread sense of the world making more sense and humans being more agenty within it.

2007-13: Brash energy. The GFC bloodied our noses but we still felt in control of the plot collectively.

2014-20: Angry-anxious energy. Everybody lost the plot. Winners and losers alike. Great Weirding.

2021 - : Mellow sadder-and-wiser energy on macro, brrr energy on micro.

Opening mood for 2021 feels like how a figure skater spins faster by pulling in tighter. Narrower horizons, more concentrated energy, easy to mistake conservation of momentum effects for an absolute increase in system energy. Shows up in everything from stocks to writing.

Its tempting to retreat to narrow horizons with primarily happy domestic cozy energy (these are really good times for anything that taps into domestic-scale psyche energy). But even the happiest broader thoughts are alloyed with that mellow sadder-wiser plotlessness.

My 2020 started in November of 2019. Brother-in-law just dropped dead out of the blue. Then another brother-in-law came down with terminal heart conditions (he's still kicking, believe it or not!). We spent nearly 50 days on the /

road and living out of our car. I wanted to go to Iowa. I planned to help the campaign. Life did not cooperate.

Iowa and New Hampshire were tough to watch through windows. Twitter, Discord, and Slack only delivered bad news for a few weeks, and what little political hope I had /

gained through 2019 turned to sadness and rage. I held hope for a Yang cabinet position, though, as that is just how political favors are paid ... and Yang clearly did Joe a favor, however small it may have seemed at the time.

I will never know what went on in that twisted little brain of his, but suddenly, every lesson we learned since the great Spanish Flu pandemic was out the window "to own the libs." Freedom, or something. This is my personal "picture of the year." It motivated nearly everything /

well. The incidents with their intensity and ghastliness remain in the form of energy at that respective place. The problem with energy is that, the energy is neither created and it is never destroyed. It just changes into different forms. These ruins hold concentrated dreadful

power zones that have gained power because of the long time factor and intensity of the incidents. These negative energies are like contagious virus that can inflict the weaker neurological reflexes. They can even possess people, without even a single hint.

When the government denies or revokes a clearance, it has to issue you what is called a "Statement of Reasons" which sets forth the allegations made against you & explains which of the 13 guidelines they fit under. The most common ones tend to be B (foreign influence), C ...

(foreign preference), E (personal conduct), and F (financial issues). By far the least common one, at least in my experience, is Guidelines A: Allegiance to the United States.

After a few hours of fitful sleep, the reality of the nightmare we're living shot me up from bed. I have no special knowledge, no guidance from above to share. Only analysis.

2) The greatest intellectual challenge we face is the enormity of the big lie. When even Mike Pence turns full Judas, and the Republican Majority Leader in the Senate rushes to as fast a certification of a false president as possible, you can feel how the fix is in. 100% Rigged.

3) Anyone who has followed the work of the great @SidneyPowell1 on behalf of @GenFlynn can find no surprise in how corrupt our judiciary is. We are witnessing a whole-of-government denial of our power as voters. In DC today, our voice is silenced. They don't need us, they think.

4) To my analytical eye, this cannot and shall not stand. I'm not predicting what will occur between now and January 20th, but truth is, I've stopped caring. It took me these several hours to realize. I am now over Election 2020. They have play acted it as theatre macabre.

5) A personal anecdote. I never voted, or even tried to, in any election until 2016. I felt the vote was a cheap trick played by parties that faked their differences but had none. I registered in 2016, in order to vote for Trump, the first attempted vote of my life.
