In addition to posh conferences, Time’s Up Now spent $288,007 on advertising, and $940,328 on “legal” costs, with the majority of that figure ($719,522) going to Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer, a multinational law firm with a powerful lobbying arm on Capitol Hill.

Time’s Up Now also spent $58,395 on travel and $112,435 on Rally, a public relations company, according to tax filings.

Emotional regulation is difficult when I’m not fully aware of how emotions are making me feel, until overwhelmed. And for me the ‘why’ is always important. My mind wrestles with possible explanations for feelings that are strong but confusing.

Like many #autistic people I find that past #trauma often intrudes on the present. Analysis and recognition of patterns is how I best understand human behaviour. Something happening now that maps onto ways in which I was bullied previously can be utterly terrifying.

The way I process things as an autistic person means that there’s often a lag in making sense of what’s going on. The thing that completes the picture and tips me into #meltdown can be so slight as to seem ridiculous. The proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back.

For me #autistic meltdown is a huge release of energy. A catharsis so intense it sometimes feels unsurvivable. The aftermath is the complete opposite. Total physical and mental exhaustion. Since my #autism diagnosis I’ve become far more analytical about why I was overwhelmed.

WHAT IS A SALAGRAMA?

The Saligrama is an extremely sacred stone found in the holy Gandhaki river in the Himalayas.
They are considered the same as the Supreme Lord Himself and are worshiped throughout the temples in India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

As per Gautamiya Tantra, near the kali - Gandaki river, there is a big place called Salagram.
The stones which appear in that place are called Salagramas.

According to the Hindu tradition, this stone is the shelter for a small insect known as "Vajra-Keeta" that has a diamond tooth which cuts through the Saligram stone and stays inside it.

The Saligrama stones are hundreds of million years old when the Himalaya was an ocean floor.The Saligrams are specifically described as fossil-stones which have taken shape in the Gandaki-river, and as characterized by the presence of discus marks.

This btw is the Directors cut of the film. So there's like 15 minutes of extra footage explaining to us all the bad choices David Twohy made in producing a sequel to PITCH BLACK, that clearly looked at Lord Of The Rings and then just ran through three lines of cocaine.

For what its worth, thats not a rip on Twohy himself, but realistically speaking CHRONICLES vs PITCH BLACK makes Cameron's ALIENS look like the petting zoo-sequel to "Hey, why not get a guinea pig for Christmas" pet choices of Ridley Scott's ALIEN.

When I worked on a report on the origins of violence in the north last year was when I lost all sympathy. They actively incubated a monster that is beyond being tamed now.

I'm going to reveal something in this thread that I guarantee most of you have never heard of before.

Are you aware that those in charge of northern Nigeria's political Islam establishment spent decades pacifying their horrendously poor constituents by promising them the land belonging to northern Christians once Sharia was implemented?

Let me give you a background.

Due to monogamous marriage which limits their population expansion, northern Christian land inheritance is largely linear, i.e the number of descendants fighting to inherit land from the father is limited, which gives them economic leverage in an area where land is the only asset

Northern muslims on the other hand, have extremely diluted inheritance because the patriarch can have 4 wives and 17 children, 8 of whom might be male. Simply put, there is not enough land to go round which leads to extreme wealth disparity within Muslim areas.

This is why Sharia was championed by northern political actors and enthusiastically welcomed by northern proles - it was a bone for politicians like Yerima to throw to the masses, and the masses genuinely believed that land belonging to the 'arne' would be distributed to them.
